Title: Where do you work?
vgmmaster - August 31, 2007 06:56 PM (GMT)
As the title says, where do you work? If you're not working, where have you applied or where do you want to work?
For me, I don't have a job yet, but I could have one here by Mid-September. I just got a phone call today from Rutter's (Gas Station / Convenience) and had an interview with the manager earlier today and I got a phone call from Dunham's (sports store) earlier today as well.

I can't get a job. I'd be evicted.
But I suppose I'd take just about any job that pays, really. I'd like to get some money.

Huh, you'd think being around flowers all day would be kinda relaxing.
Anyways, don't have a job right now (full-time student), but I have worked at a state university as a rover (basically, doing whatever needs done anywhere around the campus). I also worked for a couple months at a factory that made architectural products out of industrial aluminum.

I'm a slave. Trust me when I say that wasn't abolished a hundred years ago, cuz I don't get paid to work for my parents, and all they do is feed me and give me a place to sleep. :(
But yeah, I'd like to be an engineer, more specifically an automotive engineer. Then I'd design cars and engines etc.

I just spent 3 days working as an archive re-organiser. Translation. I just spent 3 days dragging boxes around, being hit by files falling of shelves, filling bins with stuff to be shredded and getting hundreds of paper cuts. Oh, and a black eye from a sack truck. All for £6 an hour ($12)
