Title: War Expoit
jsims8 - August 22, 2007 05:35 AM (GMT)
It appears if you declare war on a nation, do your attacks, then promptly declare peace, you can bypass the "two attacks per day" rule by re-declaring war on the nation and repeat at your leisure. Thus, you have unlimited attacks on a nation, if both nations realize the exploit and accept peace offers.
It seemed to be occurring with a particular nation:
http://www.cybernations.net/search_wars.as...9017&Extended=1 I don't know if you can track the logs of wars declared, but it should show a number of \m/ nations exploiting this feature.

I'm pretty sure that this has been brought up here before.

Oh, well, it should be changed, imho. If the nation being attacked is quitting the game, it gives an unfair advantage to people that may be declaring on him to only receive tech beyond what what you are capable within the two attacks per day parameters.
That being the case, it is an exploit of the established two attacks per day rule. I believe that admin created such parameters for a reason, rather than for them to be overly exploited. As such, I don't believe it was envisioned for more than the two attacks per day to occur.
Well, we'll see what happens, I guess.

Don't hold your breath.
As Vivi has noted, this has been brought up multiple times before and admin has pontificated on it multiple times -- always the same way, too. ;)

Surely, you would need your opponent to accept peace everytime to get peace? So how is this at your leisure?

I don't consider this an exploit, I redeclare on people all the time, serves them right for offer peace and letting me do it.
admin - August 22, 2007 03:37 PM (GMT)
The exploit has been corrected.
