Title: Imperial Benefit Ball

Justinian the Mighty - August 16, 2007 09:53 PM (GMT)
Emperor Justinian will be hosting another Imperial Ball in Slavorussia. Emperor Justinian hopes to raise funds to send to those suffering from hunger, sickness and homelessness in Africa due to the communist takeover in Nigeria. The emperor says he will try to match the amount collected there. The ball will be held in the Emperor’s Winter Palace in northern Slavorussia near Myakka. The Emperor invites all foreign leaders and dignitaries to attend. The winter palace is located 20 miles southwest of Myakka, in a rural area.

There will be food from around the world that is sure to please any palate. There will be alcohol served, however delegates from \m/ may not partake in these beverages
Once again the Imperial Army and Elite Imperial Guard will be on hand for security reasons, however personal bodyguards may be armed at this event. The emperor would like to note that the weapons should not be discharged unless an emergency should occur.

Justinian the Mighty - August 17, 2007 04:06 AM (GMT)

Republic of Umar - August 17, 2007 04:23 AM (GMT)
solomon arrives, fully sober, and asks that no one move or search his luxury car...he mubles something about rather safe then sorry, and leaves the suv in the parking lot.

Justinian the Mighty - August 17, 2007 04:55 AM (GMT)
Justinian greets Solomon as he enters the ballroom.

"Solomon, I'm glad you could make it, I hope you are well"

Generalissimo - August 17, 2007 03:49 PM (GMT)
Ms. Kiska Atka, Procinctia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs will be in attendance of the Slavorussian Imperial Benefit Ball… The Procinctian representative will arrive within the hour.

Generalissimo - August 17, 2007 04:12 PM (GMT)
Ms. Kiska Atka arrives alone at the Winter Palace, and after leaving a laptop bag with security enters the ballroom.
“Given the current Republic of War- Procinctia Conflict, originating in the Republic of War-DolpinNation Crisis, Generalissimo is not able to attend in person. Generalissimo is a generalissimo first and a statesmen second...”

Good master Hakai - August 17, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
*Good master Hakai is now laying down. On the floor, of all places! It is preposterous.

Reichführer - August 17, 2007 06:34 PM (GMT)
So, How Is Everyone Tonight. Oh, and Justinian i'll donate 20 million to the Benefit. Someone get me some Finlandia, chop chop.

Justinian the Mighty - August 17, 2007 08:42 PM (GMT)
Justinian shakes Solomon's hand.

"I'm as fine as I can be. I expect tonight to go smoothly. The terrorist forces that attacked us last time are fighting on their home truf this time."

Botha - August 17, 2007 08:48 PM (GMT)
Staatspresident Botha heard all about the last ball, so this time he will attend in person.

No more puttering around in B-17 for three days to get Slavorussia, this time Botha travels in one of Transvaal's new Tu-160 bombers. He'll arrive in a couple of hours.

Republic of Umar - August 17, 2007 08:50 PM (GMT)
Solomons aide informes him of bothas departure, and solomon is quite glad to see his friend from transvaal shall be in attendance

Justinian the Mighty - August 18, 2007 03:35 AM (GMT)
"I look forward to welcoming the Staatspresident to my home. I believe this is his first visit to Slavorussia. Oh, and can someone please move Good master Hakai out of the way."

Botha - August 18, 2007 08:29 AM (GMT)
Botha walks in through the front door, taking the most diligent care not to trip over Good Master Hakai passed out on the floor.

Looking at Hakai sprawled out, the Staatspresident ponders to himself: hmm, for someone from \m/ you'd think he would be able to handle his liquor better... it's not even nine o'clock yet. But then, I have heard stories from our ambassadors about the legendary Slavorussian vodka....'

Botha checks Hakai to make sure he's still breathing before continuing his way into the palace.

Reichführer - August 18, 2007 10:36 AM (GMT)
The Bundeskanzler walked up to the Staatspresident. "No, no, no, sir. Vodka may also be known well in Slavorussia, but you better freaking believe Kashlinkov has some good stuff as well." He opened up a bottle of Kashlinkovian Iuchen Vodka and poured Botha a small shot. "Bottoms up."

Justinian the Mighty - August 18, 2007 06:51 PM (GMT)
Justinian raises his glass in acknowledgment of Botha's arrival "Staatspresident Botha I'm glad you could make it, please make yourself at home." Justinian then turns to the Bundeskanzler, and jokingly says, "We don't drink that watered down stuff in Slavorussia."

Botha - August 18, 2007 09:50 PM (GMT)
After stomaching through sips of both the Kashlinkovian and Slavorussian varieties, Botha quickly realised that he was just not cut out to be a vodka drinker.

"Greetings Justinian the Mighty, we finally meet at last!" greets Botha as he walks quickly over to the Slavorussian emperor to give him a firm, friendly handshake.

"And you too Reichführer - always good to see you, be it on foreign trips or at Norden Verein government meetings."

Justinian the Mighty - August 19, 2007 01:39 AM (GMT)
"It's an honor to meet you Mr. Botha. Tell me, how are things in Transvaal?"

QUOTE (Justinian the Mighty @ Aug 18 2007, 05:39 PM)
"It's an honor to meet you Mr. Botha. Tell me, how are things in Transvaal?"

"Thank you, and certainly an honour to meet you as well!

Things are fine I suppose in Transvaal, our economy is booming by leaps and bounds - but the lead-up to the national elections has been causing some problems.

I try to keep aloof and not become heavy-handed in domestic politics, but under the unique circumstances and social-ethnic conditions of our homeland, we seem unable to built a stable domestic political environment. To help quell the situation from turning violent, I will be returning to Pretoria on Wednesday as we'll be instituting a news-blackout leading up to the election."
