Title: International Boxing League
Description: Come one, come all!
CaptainAmerica - July 20, 2007 10:21 PM (GMT)
I've been thinking about setting up an International Boxing League, something for everybody to have fun with. Basically, anyone can participate, and each nation can sponsor one fighter, with a possibilty of more than one. It'll be updated weekly, if not daily, depending on who is fighting. There won't really be a cap on how many fighters there'll be in the league, but if it gets too big, we'll place a cap on it. If anyone has any interest, please let me know.

Procinctia supports the event. On Sunday, July 22nd Procinctia will hold a no holds bar, all-style martial arts tournament to determine Procinctia's fighter.

President Steve Rogers welcomes the nation of Procintia and hopes that the best of their fighters will come out on top. As for American Citadel, the President is still reviewing the national fighters, and hopes as well that the best fighter wins.
OOC: I think the way I will determine who wins and loses is by random number, assigned to two different stats: Strength and Defense. For each fighter, the numbers start out at 10. For each win, the fighter gains one point to assign to a stat. If the fighter's Strength number beats his opponent's Defense by 10 or more, the opponent is knocked down. Each fighter gets two knockdowns before they become knocked out. There are five rounds, and the more times your fighter hits the other, the more points that fighter wins, up to 10. I'll try to compile that into a list for an easier read, but I wanted to get it down before I forgot it.
