Today on July 4th, 2007 soldiers of the People's Liberation Army landed and rushed to capture the city of Dalian and capturing the rest of the peninsula. The small peninsula is part of a two front military strategy said the CMC. Zhongnanhai has ambitions in Manchuria since the collapse of Dae Baedal Jeguk.

"Our interests in Manchuria are only for the best" said Li Zhaoxing minister of foreign affairs to international press. "Zhongnanhai had declared itself 'Red China' and supported a one China policy since November 21st, 2006. We have steadily increased our influence but the CMC has offered to speed the process up through liberation of Manchuria"

For security purposes the CMC or Politburo has refused to release when the offensive will occur. The recent military action was favored by Zhongnanhai's citizens, but international analysts suspect that there is more to it than just the "New China" policy. Steven Lamson spoke on international television claiming that "The Communist Party of Zhongnanhai, isn't sharing all the facts with us. Manchuria is a buffer zone that will allow the Communist party to exert control in the Sea of Japan and put communist influence in the Korean peninsula."

Robert Laskowsky had a different theory "It simply is that Premier Huang and the communists are straining their resources which they used to modernize the country. Since Manchuria doesn't have any single nation influencing it, Beijing has moved in and is taking it over to extract resources. We know that they are spending millions on a nuclear program and this is likely to stimulate said program. Why have they waited so long? Many nations are celebrating July 4th so the CPZ feels like this is an oppurtunity to catch the international community off guard"

Despite this the Politburo has denied all accusations saying that it has acted with interests of the people of Zhongnanhai and more importantly the people of China in mind.

This morning troops mobilized out of Dalian and are now positioned south of Shenyang. The local warlord Ji Gongsheng who currently occupies most of the former Liaoning province had readied his forces to defend the capital city. The warlords personal army was equipped with everything imaginable. A garrison of at least 63,000 have dug in around the city of Shenyang. Despite many of these men being armed with Ak-47s, inferior to the Type 95 assault rifle, PLA commander were shocked when they saw a group of Hyeonmu-1 approaching. Although the tanks were destroyed after employing concentrated air support CMC officials believe that many weapons given to Dae Baedal Jeguk by the former NoR are currently being used in these warlords personal armies. The PLA is fortunate that they have yet to see any air force from Ji Gongsheng.


A T-72, one of the few modern military pieces of equipment the warlord is fielding preformed poorly against the Type 99 MBT of the PLA.

The liberation ("invasion" as some western analysts call it) has had mixed responses. The citizens all ready living in Zhongnanhai are very happy to see the CPZ carrying out the New China policy. However, many business owners in the Liaoning province are very concerned. What the Communist Party would deem as enemies of the state or Capitalist roaders accounts for 15% of the population in Liaoning. The over whelming 85% are lower class and peasants. Chunsheng is a wealthy business owner who owns 3 textile plants, and is responsible for exporting locally produced SKS rifles is very distressed over the situation.

"With the collapse of Dae Baedal Jeguk I bought these facilities dirt cheap. I paid for them and knowing the communists they'll take everything away from me. I'm worried about my family, my son whose suppose to become heir to our fortune is at risk" Said Chunsheng as he entered his Mercedes-Benz. Chungsheng like many other business are fleeing into Russia and are attempting to leave the country. Rumors have been spread that even Ji Gongsheng has left and is hiding somewhere in Siberia.

ooc: The T-72 can be made relevent, however, with the proper application of laminate/reaction plate armor and gun upgrades. I believe a modified T-72 can take out an A1 Abrams with a rear or side hit.

OOC: The T-72 came out less than 10 years before the m1 abram. If the T-72 is considered old and outdated then so would the Abram.. sorry about this late post I was on vacation.

After weeks of intense fighting, the city of Shenyang has refused to budge. CMC officials had determined that this manpower seen in Shenyang is because the warlord has concentrated his forces in his capital. Leaving the rest of Liaoning province poorly defended. The PLA has taken advantage of the situation an launched another assault this time from the Beijing municipality and have taken most of the Western province with little trouble. Ji Gongsheng had released a video message claiming that he was still in the city and ready to fight till the end.


Type 66, 152mm guns fire onto Shenyang constantly. While most of the other cities in Liaoning Province will remain intact Shenyang will have to be rebuilt after the battle. Artillery fire has been banned in the Heping District of Shenyang as it contains a monument to Chairman Mao.

The PLA has relied on its air supremacy to take the city while ground troops over run positions. During this time many capitalists have been arrested and punished for their crimes against the people. Reports claim that some 200 people have been killed all of them prominent business men in Liaoning Province. The families of these capitalist roaders have been sent to reeducation facilities and the children who are now orphaned have been adopted by families that the state has deemed "politically correct" these actions are an attempt to change the mindset of the youth to that similar to the students in Beijing. The CMC has refused to release numbers of casualties.

Since the dissolution of the Commonwealth, rival generals have been fighting over Shillan territory. However, the ambitious General Woo Sang Chul has decided to pledge his allegiance to Comrade Lance and is requesting that he and his soldiers be allowed to join the CMC.

The Politburo and CMC are happy to accept the foreign help. General Woo Sang Chul has been accepted into the Central Military Commission. The CMC has promised that the General will be given the responsibility of territorial defense of the Liaoning Province after it has been liberated. The people of Zhongnanhai rejoice knowing that the New China Policy is being supported by their foreign comrades.

As the battle rages on in Shenyang the PLA's grip of the city continues to tighten. Since the remaining few troops, an estimated number of less than 10,000, seem to be faltering. It has become a more common sight to see militiamen surrendering to PLA forces. Those who have surrendered are being placed in POW camps. The Politburo has arranged for them to live in humane conditions as they are still Chinese in the eyes of the party. The battle seems to be dying down as Zhongnanhai's newest military asset, comrade general Woo Sang Chul pressures the eastern part of Shenyang with the air cover of the PLAAF.

Ji Gongsheng has been trapped as the PLA has surrounded the city. He is in the Shenhe district as the heart of the city. There PLAAF aircraft have spotted a massive fortification. It has been confirmed the Gongsheng will not surrender but will instead continue fighting despite these ridiculous odds. All districts accept the northern part of the Shenhe area have been captured by the PLA. Food, water, clothing, and medical supplies are being brought in by plane via the Taoxian airport.

Shenyang Falls to PLA forces

Today fireworks bursted over the city of Shenyang as the final stronghold of Ji Gongsheng collapsed. The Warlord was capture after he was injured in an artillery strike that left him covered in debris. The Warlord is set to be on trial for crimes against the workers within the weeks to follow. The Communist Party has worked quickly as a flood of newly trained People's Armed Police occupy the city to maintain order. Also the People's Militia is being mobilized to occupy Liaoning province while the PLA army that fought for the freedom of our Chinese comrade in Liaoning will have a 2 week vacation before going back onto active service again.

On the Liaoning-Jilin Border a large number of tanks have been spotted primarily the older Type 80s were deployed. As Zhongnanhai maintains a firm grip in the Beijing area it has begun using its very experience militia force to keep the stress off the PLA. To the south along the Korean border Customs officers and soldiers have been put into place to control the flow of refugees leaving Liaoning and the warlords that have plagued the northern peninsula since Shilla moved its influence away from the north. The CMC has assured the international community that it has no intentions of entering the Korean Peninsula. Military Doctors are providing medical care and Soldiers distribute rations to the population in Liaoning that live in areas that have been severly damage. The government has started the reconstruction program as it builds the Soviet Styled Apartment buildings and other infrastructure.

With the Korean government reformed into the Unified Kingdom of Shilla, King Kim Yoon Hyuk would like to inform Premier Lance that any encroachment on Korean soil will be considered as an act of war against Shilla. Shilla would also like to lay claim on parts of Manchuria but which parts can be discussed.

The People's Republic of Zhongnanhai has refused to give up any part of mainland China . However we are willing to handover the long disputed Yalu and Tumen River to Shilla.


Early in the morning the PLA launched a suprise attack on Jilin. An area that has mostly been controlled by local gangs. The attack was spear headed by PLA Tanks. Followed by a mass of People's Militiamen and the People's Armed Police.


Type 56 tank, which has mostly been phased out in the PLA, but is still widely used in the People's militia made up most of the tank force.

Citizens in Jilin woke up to find their gangs fighting desperately as PLA tanks literally ran over rebels in the street. The attack is rapidly advancing and unlike the battle of Liaoning province, Jilin was just a massive surge of military hardware entering the province. The PLA has told that civilians should gather there belongings to enter through "safe zones" along the front line so they may safely enter Zhongnanhai. The Province capital, Changchun, which lays in the west is within eye sight of the PLA forces.

Political Analysis
Hua Yu, one of the intellectuals that left during the revolution believes that the reunification is showing the imperialist attitude of the government. He also says that by capturing Jilin and Liaoning that Zhongnanhai will use this as a platform to pressure Shilla into siding with the communist party.

Wan Erxi, a political science major and member of the Zhongnanhai New Democracy party responded that the liberation of Jilin and Liaoning are acceptable as Zhongnanhai which was born in Beijing is new China. Although he expressed that he did not believe Shilla had right to what had been Chinese territory for many years he
had reminded the public that Zhongnanhai has refused to side against Shilla in many situations since Zhongnanhai needs Shilla in order to stabilize East Asia and create a unified front to prevent Japanese invasion.

The Unified Kingdom of Shilla finds this offer acceptable provided that a one kilometer wide area of land along the entirety of both the Yalu and the Tumen on the Zhongnanhai side be used as the border for both nations. Half of the area (closest to the river) will be the Shillan side of the border, and the other half will belong to Zhongnanhai.

This announcement made by the King shocked several members of the Royal Court and Parliament as Korea had always maintained that Manchuria was Korean land (as shown in the maps of an older Korean kingdom). However, King Kim Yoon Hyuk values a peaceful and prosperous relationship with the People's Republic of Zhongnanhai and has rescinded the Korean claim to Manchuria as a sign of respect to Premier Lance.

The King also wishes to inform both the government and the people of Zhongnanhai that after long last, Shilla has managed to halt that latest Japanese encroachment. Imperial Japan, once again risen from the dead, and the Social Republic of Japan have both been put under a tight military watch as portions of the Shillan Pacific Home Defense Fleet patrol the international waters right off of Japan. Shilla has also managed to successfully annex the majority of the island of Kyushu into the kingdom. ( Reference)

PLA continues to push in Jilin Province

PLA Soldiers quickly beat down a gang member who attempted to detonate an I.E.D.

Chinese Military officials announced that Zhongnanhai had commenced its final sweep into Jilin Province. The liberation of Jilin showed a much darker side of the PLA war doctrine. Unlike the common People's War the PLA quickly removed all opposition. Civilians have been told to stay in their homes to prevent the chance that they might be shot. Many gang members have been arrested and there have been cases of suicide as teenagers did not want to be arrested by soldiers.

Premier Huang using the resource facilities in Liaoning is flushing in aid to help civilians and government soldiers are quickly relocating families in communes. The liberation of Jilin province is soon to come as the PLA continues marching forward. Zhongnanhai has slowed down its military operations as it rebuilds its new territory.


Government workers from the Beijing were sent by the thousands to Liaoning and now Jilin province to aid in reconstruction. While Liaoning was relatively intact other than the capital Shenyang, Jilin province has suffered massive damage to infrastructure.
