Title: Airforce Bug?

I have 47 lvl 9 fighters.
I have 308 tech, double my opponenets. He runs an unescorted attack on me, twice. He wins, twice.
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!

Aircraft make no sense. Today, I attacked an enemy with less fighters than me and lost 30 while downing only one. It's ridiculous.

It is well known that the aircraft system is flawed, attackers get an indescribable bonous and it is not unknowen to have a 50-60:1 loss ratio.

you can't lose more than 50 fighters in a single combat, and teh worst I have ever seen is a 48 kill, 3 loss attack.
But during the same war he suffered a 1 kill, 46 loss attack.
The attacker and defender don't get any bonuses that I can tell (trust me, i have lost a crapload of planes both defending and attacking)... it's just the air combat system is INCREDIBLY inconsistent, and has a WIDE range of casualties, 50 vs 50 could result in 2 kills, or 48... there seems to be no rhyme or reason.
But attackers do not get any special bonus. In fact, if anything, defenders have a SLIGHT advantage in that if they have construction they can have 60 fighters defending, while the attacker can never attack with more than 50, giving the defender an automagic edge in Air Strength assuming max level fighters on both sides.

I always seem to get the upper hand when I fight with my escorted bomber attacks :))

I just lost 31 fighters and 5 bombers while killing 1 enemy fighter.
Some admin input on this would be nice.

i have like 15 fighters, all lvl 9 and this stupid guy keeps running through with inescorted lvl2or3 bombers. i nvr destroy any. admin input isz still nice.
