Russany National & International Report

Today R.N.I.R made it's first true broadcast with the visits of the Leaders from the Most Serene Republic of Venice and The Imperial Commonwealth of Shilla. The Baron spoke for the entire Peoples Council Of Russany and the majority of the Workers Coucils with this statement.
"This is the begining of a International and informed Peoples Nation of Russany!"

The Imperial Commonwealth of Shilla thanks Russany for its hospitality.

Today our flag was risin in Velikiy Novogod in front of the Watchdog Council Building alongside the flags of the other members. This punctuates the rise of Russany with the Baron's position of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Why do you have the German Democratic Republic flag as your national flag?

Til-La-Fran Watt as President of the D Peter Republic would like to make a offcial visit to Russany.

Today Russany released an official statement about it's war. "This war is going well and has been a perfect time to test our new cruise missles!" -Ivan Lobkovskaya, 1st order general.

International News: Russany holds contest for new anthem!

$20,000 has been offered to whoever comes up with a proper anthem for Russany. The P.C.R has asked that it includes the Workers Council, The Peoples Council of Russany, the Baron, the People, the Hammer & Compass, and be longer than 5 lines.

Today Russany's troops march into Free Appalachia's capital city of Appalachia! After heavy casualties and hard work, our troops have finally broken though the enemies tanks and troops, puting them into a national draft situation, stealing tech, and raiding their national treasury!

Today the P.C.R, the Baron, and members of the D Peter Republic government met together to discuss the future of both of the nations. "We must find a way to stabilise this growing nation and prevent fascist leaders from arising!" -Baron Uberstein.

National news:

Russany's new factory
Today Russany opened it's first factory to aid it's already booming military program. The compleation of the factory also gave new jobs to around 100 citizens, and runs non-stop to keep up with the people's needs.

Darrin De Foo-Moo said when speaking to Baron and to the meeting "It is up to the people of the D Peter Republic (DPR) to chose their own Government , President and Parliament. They can accept or reject the coup and the National Socialist Government."

The DPR representatives ask weather the state should dissolve into the PCR.
"It is clear that self rule for the citizens is not working and the state is totally aid dependent. May be Baron should accpet this idea" said the Minister of over seas relations.

"The PCR would get our technology , money , soldiers and infrestructure all for free. We are both communist countries and our people would love it" said the Minister for trade Franko Mussolini Lenin.

Today Russany's flag was removed from Novgorod with the departure of Russany's ambassators and resignation from the Watchdog Alliance. "This is a new age for Russany, we will pay back our old allies what we owe them, and grow to become a nation reconised by all for it's equality and rights of the people! Already we have been asked by several alliances, large and small, to join their ranks." -Baron Uberstein.

Greenland War Relic for auction:

Today the Moscow Train Cannon, or MTC, was put up for auction. This cannon will go to whoever can justify their use for it in one sentance. Contest ends on March 20, 2007.

Today Russany started a large project to renew and update the trench and defence system built in during the Greenland War. Old fortifications are being rebuild, and the old trench system is being compleatly redone. "As GWIII looms over Planet Bob, only a fool would stand unprepared." -1st OrderGeneral Ivan Lobkovskaya.

The new defence program has started to create what the Baron calls the "Moscow-Line". Trenchs, fences, bunkers, and tunnels are being build along the borders of the Moscow Oblast, with a heavy concentration of military forces to the east of the City itself.

To continue with the upgrades of the defences, heavy cannons are being brought in for anti-tank and anti-air defences.



In other news, all 80 of Russany's tanks have been replaced with the new Black Eagle design, the rest of the Armored Core are ASU-85 Tank Destoryers.

Today Russany made another step closer to paying off it's dept to the SWF of $300,000. "We only hope that when the war is over there is someone left to recieve it" The Minister of Finance jokingly said to our reporter.

In other news, Russany's economy is growing stronger every day, but is still hindered by its ability to find a lumber & gold trade.

Today, Russany build around 50 Rigid lighter-than-airships. When asked why, the P.C.R replied "Because we wanted to."

Today the Baron came back to the Kremlin from his spring vacation to find the entire area covered in soggy toilet paper. "It seems that one of the workers councils decided to do an aprils fools joke, and didn't know I was away." The Baron said to reporter.
When the local Council's chairman was questioned, he simply said "I am amazed that we would ever be accused of such a thing!"

Today the P.C.R approved the begining of the new "Moderize the u-boat" program. This program is working to keep the general idea of a submerine with anti-air and light artillery on board. We are also looking into the idea of submarine aircraft carriers.

Today the Peoples Council of Russany allowed a reporter into the council chamber to record an everyday meeting. This brings Russany another step closer to an open, free press and another step farther from the old, "Marxist-Leninist" regime.

In other news, a nation by the name of Dur Peter Republic claims that it is now a part of Russany, and all it's problems are now ours. The P.C.R is quickly looking into this, and released this statement. "While we discussed this with the D.P.R, we were sure we made it clear that while we would accept their donations to Russany, we would not want to strip away their government, and had no intrest in ruling the D.P.R."

Today R.N.I.R. finished it's renovations on the network. New towers, encripters, and communication satellites have been put up so that people outside of Russany can now hear and see the news in High-Quality*, so tune in later for HQ-RNIR!

Today Russany finished project "Cosmo-ear". By building around 200 radio telescopes within the Moscow Oblast, we hope to soon be scanning the universe in the name of science and perhaps to find life! Already our astronomers have been making charts of deep space and possible sites for our developing space program to investigate.

Tainted cheese recalled!
Today hundreds of kilograms of cheese was taken to be destroyed as reports of food poisoning swept the nation. Our scientists are working 24/7 to find out what went wrong, and many think that the current crop of bio-engineered cows may be tainted.

This is but one of the horrible slices of cheese pie which poisioned many citizens
