The choices were taken from the list to the right of
this page.
Feel free to discuss.
Btw, I edited out a few of these I don't expect to be chosen or that are very similar to other choices.

Mormonism :) (Its more then a religion ;) )
DMAngara - August 15, 2006 05:22 AM (GMT)
Conservatism. But I'm pro-choice and anti drug prohibition. Pretty much everything else, gay marriage, etc, I side with the conservative.
Zog - August 15, 2006 05:27 AM (GMT)
Libertarianism. I don't care what you do, just stay off my lawn.
Kida - August 15, 2006 05:30 AM (GMT)
w00t I got the first nationalist vote in. GO AMERICA!
Tezcatlipoca - August 15, 2006 05:32 AM (GMT)
Anarchism (anarcho-syndicalism) at least in theory, it's a nice utopia for me, don't expect it to ever happen though.
In reality I'd probably be closest to libertarianism.
And then in voting, whichever of the two parties seem the most stable in policy and their cabinet.
Kevin the Great - August 15, 2006 05:34 AM (GMT)
I'm a Libertarian. Do what you like, just don't come crying and expecting a handout when your broke, homeless, and addicted.
Harald Harfargi - August 15, 2006 05:49 AM (GMT)
Me, I am a Social Democrat with libertarian and nationalist tendancies (non-ethnic/religious/political nationalism).

Juan Lennon - August 15, 2006 06:47 AM (GMT)
Democratic Socialism for me.
The Maverick Jester - August 15, 2006 07:50 AM (GMT)
Other: Anti-ideology.
I don't subscribe to any specific political philosophy (though like anyone i can be classified into one), but rather I deal with specific issues as they arise based on my own personal views.
I've been told that my views on a number of issues, taken as a whole, would make me a liberal, but as I do not actively subscribe to the doctrine of liberalism I feel it would be inaccurate to call myself that.

Nazism....
Aw, just pulling your stump, man.
Nationalism, methinks.
israfeel - August 15, 2006 08:26 AM (GMT)
ahhh...
A Theocratic Socialistic Republic....
All three ideas would be applied but there would be priorities.
With the socialism being the least, Theocratic as highest and Republic as in between.

I'm not sure if I'm a theocratic socialist too. I think that the secular state and the churches should share power to some extent, not sure if combining the two into one would be a good idea.
Though theocracy would certainly be better than the present godless fetus-murdering state, at least it would deal with murderers and place an equal value on all human life. However theocracy has a tendancy to corrupt those who hold it, beacause of the potential sublimation of religious principles for pragmatic ends.
But the enemies of justice and human life need to be dealt with and their lies expunged and they must be utterly deprived of the power that they currently hold.

Let's start with the churches who deny people the right to use condoms, and for eons stood and stand side by side the armies as they march off into war for God, for country, for capital.
Anyway, anarchist here.

minignu - August 15, 2006 12:31 PM (GMT)
Socialism/social democracy for me I think.
Pingu - August 15, 2006 02:21 PM (GMT)
I chose Socialism as the broadest umbrella under which my views fit. I am also Green, feminist (socialist feminist, not liberal feminist) and am at the anarcho-syndicalist end of the socialist spectrum.
I also like pie.
Czar Garrett - August 15, 2006 02:25 PM (GMT)
I'm a mix of Conservativism/Federalism and Libertarianism.
WiseShakespeare - August 15, 2006 02:58 PM (GMT)
Aww, you edited out feminism. Where will I get empowerment from now? :P
Anyway...social democracy for me.
DaJoW - August 15, 2006 03:46 PM (GMT)

G-Force - August 15, 2006 03:47 PM (GMT)
Other- Capitalism
I like how libertarians handle the economy but not how they handle the social side of things.

I'm happy to see that Social Democracy is now in the lead. Economically i'm a Social Democrat, socially i'm a libertarian.
Harald Harfargi - August 15, 2006 05:58 PM (GMT)
Social Democrat, free-market capitalist. Libertarian on social issues except Islamic terrorism.
RMMP - August 15, 2006 06:19 PM (GMT)
Communist: I believe in the eventuality of Communism, however I am realistic and I understand it will not occur for quite some time. Was a more short sighted, i'd be a Socialist.

I seriously doubt that feminists play a game that's 90% full of males.

Why not? I play and I'm a feminist. It would be bizarre if I were the only one among the thousands who play...
Juan Lennon - August 15, 2006 08:20 PM (GMT)
Men can be feminists too. John Lennon was very much so.

There should be different sects of Communism, Stalinism is nothing like Trotskyism. I wouldn't even call Stalinism Communist.

I consider myself "Libertarian Lite". I believe the best answer is usually the small government answer. But I don't pretend that the "big government" or "no government" solutions are always wrong.
I reserve the right to support the continutation of social security and publically-funded roads, schools, and emergency services. And to deviate from a morally neutral approach to governance as well
Bakunin's Dream - August 16, 2006 12:11 AM (GMT)
