QUOTE (Kegsy @ Nov 2 2007, 11:15 PM)
Thanks smile.gif

LLRNET will not run on any of my Vista or WIN2K3 64bit boxes, so I can only run it on a couple of old ass AMD's.

Well that should work for me.......... all I got is some old ass Intels tongue.gif

If anyone wants to help Kegsy out here we can gain a place and fend off Anandtech smile.gif
Overtake would add 285 vault points.

Ah crap those German fuckers @ RechenKraft have started crunching again, I was within 7 days of an overtake sad.gif

I only run with project an old 950mhz and a 1.1gig AMD box as this thing will not run on a 64 bit OS.

Finally passed RechenKraft smile.gif

We should see a nice points gain of about 200 or so at the next update.

Only 157 days until the next overtake smile.gif I am running this on 3 old AMD rigs 950mhz, 1gig & 1.1gig so it takes a while. But I did pass Guru and that was my main goal smile.gif mgpower was putting out some sweet numbers a couple of months ago, like 50k a day.

Team Ninja will overtake us in 35 days and we will take a big hit at the vault (around 500 points) if anyone has a spare single core machine go slap on LLRNet and help a brother out smile.gif

I've triple my output in the past week but the Ninja's just keep on gaining. sad.gif

Guru can ignore this message as his dislike of this project is well known, mainly because I own his ass on this project smile.gif

HUGE NEWS

Postby bryan on Fri Aug 01, 2008 1:17 am
So, this is going to sound really bizarre, and possibly contrived, but we have heard from B2!!!!

Lee returned to online status at just after midnight, August 1st. He will have a statement about the outage/shutdown this weekend. In the mean time, I am preparing a project resumption plan (basically scrapping the plans I outlined Thursday). What I have so far:

1) Restore DB server, check data integrity
2) Restart web server for forum/website
3) Restart LLRNet server
4) Upgrade BOINC server to 'traditional'/'Berkley' BOINC software - since we're already in an outage, a few more days won't hurt any more
5) Restart BOINC server

Ideally, 1-3 should be done by Saturday night, hopefully. As we have more details, I will post them.
