Sabatino’s Stoccaggio

It was late at night, not many people were wondering the streets around this part of the city. Perfect. The operation currently underway would go a lot smoother without having to worry about the prying eyes of curious civilians. Kwan sat in the driver seat of a small, black Sudan parked about a block away from Sabatino’s storage facility. It was a decent sized warehouse that housed a manner of all sorts of items from clothing to food to even defense systems for the home. But none of that was the concern of the assassin. He and his partner for the night, Camille was after a small generator. They needed the generator because the one back in Sanctuary would not last forever.

This generator would last them a very long time. He stared out into the distance not looking at anything in particular. Kwan then tapped the small earpiece activating it. “What do you see Camille?” The woman relayed the information to him and he acknowledged. “Meet you on the inside, amico. Oh, remember to keep it non-lethal.” There was a slight mumble on the other end followed by an alright. This operation was not meant to result in any casualties. These men, the security detail, were not Templars, but ordinary employees trying to make a living. Kwan stepped out of his car and locked the door behind him. He rubbed his hands together as he stared up the side of a two story building.

Driving any closer to the warehouse was a risk he did not want to take, so travel by rooftop was the way to go. He clicked together the straps of his backpack across his torso before taking a few steps back. After a quick stretching of the limbs Kwan sped toward the building. His feet dug into the small crevices and pushed him up to a windowsill. He grabbed hold and pulled himself up to the nearby fire escape. Within seconds he was on the rooftops bounding toward the location.

The young woman known as Camille Molyneux lay prone on the rooftop of a three story building. Her eyes were stuck to a small pair of binoculars looking down at a warehouse. The front door of the place was slid open allowing a white semi-truck to pull in. Several men came to the back to help with the unloading of its contents. The voice of her partner came in over the earpiece. “There is a truck unloading at the front right now. I count about three workers and two guards monitoring the work. I believe there to be more though.” After relaying what she could see from her vantage point she stood up pulled free her pistol to check its ammo.

And then Kwan dropped a bomb on her. She frowned like a child that could not have any ice cream and cursed. “Fine,” she said. Camille placed the gun back at her hip holster. Well looked like she was doing things the old fashioned way. It would be much simpler to just kill off all of the people, but since none of them were Templars, at least to their knowledge, it would go against the creed she swore to uphold. She placed the binoculars into the bottom pocket of her cargo pants. It was time to get to work now. Camille bound effortlessly across the close knit rooftops. She landed in a roll to distribute the impact evenly. Once back to her feet she continued forward.

Before long she reached a neighboring building of the warehouse and paused. She was positioned on the left side were a single guard was patrolling below. The roof was low enough for a safe drop. She smirked before timing it and then leaping from the roof silently. She came crashing down right on top of the poor guard. The impact knocked him unconscious. Camille grabbed him by his legs and dragged him next to the dumpster where his body would be out of sight. “I’m on the ground.”

Kwan’s acrobatic performance came to a stop when he reached the backside of the warehouse. He could hear the door slamming shut on the truck and then its departure. Soon after, the front door of the warehouse was slid shut as well. That was fine. Trying to enter through the front of the building would be a horrible mistake. The back of the place was closed off as well, no doubt the door locked. His plan of entrance anyway was going to be through the roof. Kwan quietly climbed down from the roof to the ground below. He reached into his backpack and pulled free a collapsible baton, the type used by law enforcement for when things got out of hand.

He extended the weapon and stalked toward the warehouse. One of the guards stood idly by enjoying a smoke. He was completely unaware of the hurt that was about to be brought down. As the man took another drag, Kwan delivered a quick strike to the back of his head knocking him out. He caught the man’s body before it could fall and gently lowered it to the ground. So far so good. “I’m making my way to the roof. Move in.” Kwan traveled up the stairs that would lead to the second floor of the warehouse from the outside. Instead of trying to pick the lock, he ran up the side of the wall enough to grab hold of the roof ledge. After hoisting himself up he crept toward the large windows.

Only a couple of lights were still on. He could make out two other bodies not identified by Camille. Eight employees and guards total, including the ones already taken care of. Kwan opened up one of the large windows in an unlit part of the building. It was a crack just wide enough to slide through. He removed a bundle of rope from the backpack, tied one end to the nearby support beam, and then lowered the other half inside. It was a good fifteen foot drop to the second level if he slipped which would result in some very nasty injuries. He grabbed hold and began to climb down the rope.

Camille peeped around the corner of the building to make sure that it would be safe to advance. She quickly pulled her back after nearly being spotted by one of the guards standing firm in front of the small customer entrance. The other guard was making his way to the gate operation booth. Once inside, the man flopped down in the chair and cracked open a newspaper. Having a gun that shot rubber bullets would so be of great use right now. But she usually had no use for such non-lethal weapons. The woman was used to being sent on missions that resulted in someone’s death. She removed her itchy fingers from the butt of the gun and sighed.

Camille checked again. The booth guy was still reading his paper and the door guard was now reaching into his pocket fishing for a pack of smokes. That was the moment she needed. Camille rushed from the alley. He turned to face her and before he could shout anything, the woman delivered three quick strikes to his throat. He clasped at it in pain, unable to yell for help. She drove her knee right into the sternum and finished him off with a strike to the back of the neck. As soon as his body hit the ground she snatched the keys from his belt loop and moved the body from in front of the building.

Using the keys she unlocked the door leading to the front desk office and stepped inside slowly and silently. Standing in front of the old looking vending machine was one of the workers. Camille silently snuck up behind the guy and wrapped an arm around his neck and pulled tight applying a chokehold. He dropped the quarters in his hand while struggling trying to get the woman off him. It was no use. She had it locked in like a python. After a moment or two the guy finally passed out. He was dumped behind the desk. “I’m inside. Hurry up and find it.” Camille checked her corners before making it out to the floor.
