F.A.Q. SHEET
Q: What year is it?If you read the plot then you should know this. It is the year 2012.
Q: Where are we?Creed of Assassins takes place in Italy.
Q: How far along is the game?Creed of Assassins picks up just a few days after the end of Assassin’s Creed II. Brotherhood has not happened here. Desmond, Lucy, Shaun, and Rebecca are in Monteriggioni trying to accomplish their mission of saving the world. Instead of if being September, it is the real world current month.
Q: Can I travel? Why yes, of course. Italy is not the only place in the world that houses assassins. Italy just happens to house to main Assassin Order. The Templars have numerous legitimate companies all over the globe and their numbers are greater.
Q: Where are the heaviest concentrations of assassins?Sao Paulo, Brazil, Moscow, Russia, Osaka, Japan, and Denver, Colorado.
Q: My character is twelve. Can he kill people?Hell no. While it is true that assassins are trained from a very young age, none of them commit their first kill until the age of 18 and the leader of the cell deems them ready.
Q: I’m a civilian. How do I join the Templars/Assassins?First off, civilians have no idea that these two factions exist and that a war is going on right under their noses. If you are a civilian and wish to be recruited into either faction, you must first do something that will gain their attention. For instance: a really smart guy hacks into some important mainframe and obtains useful knowledge. The assassin hackers might pick up on this and seek the guy out.
Q: Do I… do I lose a finger? No. The practice of removing the ring finger does not exist anymore. Instead, the assassin’s ring finger is branded with the Order’s seal.
Q: So, the hidden blade?Once upon a time every assassin had a hidden blade. But that was then and this is now. The hidden blade is a very rare weapon in 2012 and only a very low amount know where to get one from and/or build one. So every assassin will not have one and they definitely will not have two. The dual blades was something almost exclusive to Ezio.
Q: How do assassins receive orders?Once upon a time you had to travel all the way to closest city, now the tech guys of the Order give out assignments through encrypted emails. You can still visit the assassin bureau in the cities if you feel so.
Q: So what do thieves and courtesans do?The thieves and courtesans of the Assassin Order are kind of like the grunts. These are the guys that obtain physical important items or information. A courtesan may be planted in a call-girl service to get the rich guys to spill their guts through seduction and whatnot.
Q: So where are the Pieces of Eden?Everywhere. Check out
this link to know exactly where they are. Currently the Assassin Order has three while the Templar Order possesses nine.
Q: Subject 16?In this world, Subject 16 is indeed alive, but no one is aware of it, not even Desmond or Abstergo. 16 is deep deep in hiding and paranoid as all outdoors. He will be an npc for now.
Q: Hey can I be related to a canon? No original character relation to canons.
Note: More to come as questions arise.
