How long does a permanent ban last (i know it means forever but is thr ever a time when it just gets taken off)

I did realize what i did wrong, i killed people. Im obviously not gonna do it again if gets me permanent ban. (it was my first time playing the game by the way)

Killing people doesn't get you banned, therefore you don't know what you did.
