So, when I logged into the round, I hear people saying that the king was griefing. I became a knight, and walked out onto the street. The king walked up to me and attacked me, but I was able to blunt him and shackle him. I said that he was griefing, then I asked him for his reason, and he said that it was "didn't say hi". So I bring him to jail, I took his stuff so I'd rule until his insanity ended. Then Drake PMed me and told me that I'm not allowed to shackle and jail the king. I asked him, "What if the king becomes insane?" Drake said that I should be insane with him. I asked him, "And if the king tries to kill me?" Drake said I must submit to my death, so I had to release him and give him his items back.

I would like some thoughts about this, and about knights shackling kings who kill with bad reason.

I say the only duty of knights is to keep the King from coming to harm, no matter what. If the King was going insane, you could shackle him for a bit to keep him from hurting himself.

I'd say shackle him, take his sword and armor, and place him under house arrest in his Kings Quarters until his sanity returns. If he continues like that, he'll cause riots and chaos, probably leading to his assassination.

I'd like Drake to see this and approve of it, cause if this situation happens again, I could risk a boot/ban.
