It's a Tails/Cosmo drabble that I wrote. Don't give me a hard time about the short-ness, or bad things will happen. Enjoy.

Remembrance

He walks through his workshop, eyes glazed with sorrow. The loss of his love weighs heavy on his mind. Despite the profound sadness in his heart, he doesn't shed a tear--he has long since cried himself dry.

As he comes near a table, he looks at a small potted seed. A tiny green sprout is sticking up from the dirt.

He stares at the little plant and remembers her--her kindness, her gentle nature, and, most of all, her smile.

He still remembers her face, clearer than anything.

With a sigh of longing and regret, he turns away from the seed.
