THE CANON LIST

There's just one or two things you should know before applying for a canon here at CICATRIX MANET Reserves are permitted and last a grand total of three days before the character is up for grabs again. If a character is not reserved, but an application has been posted, you may still post yours. A decision will not, however, be made until either the other application is completed or three days have passed since it was originally posted - whichever comes first. All incomplete applications must be finished within 3 days or else they are subject to being denied and account deletion.

Pay attention to the color of the pictures above each character blurb. That's the only method of determining who is taken and who isn't. A character that's still open is in black & white.

If your canon isn't listed here, don't fret. Simply register and apply or pm an admin first. It's really unlikely we'd deny you based on the character you've chosen.

HANNIBAL KING

HUNTER • 35 appears 30 • RYAN REYNOLDS

Hannibal King had begun to think that the battle of vampires might have just started to let up when the unthinkable happened. Vampires struck back after Daystar hit the streets, wanting pay back for the havoc their little viral cure had done to the immediate population. Hannibal and Abigail were attacked as soon as the vampires organized, Abby ending up being killed, while Hannibal just barely managed to make it out alive. When he was well enough, he packed up everything and took Zoe out of the city, relocating to New Orleans to regroup with another sect of hunters.

ZOE SOMMERFIELD

HUNTER • 17 • Summer Glau

Zoe Sommerfield, daughter of the brilliant scientist who created Daystar, has had a unique upbringing since then. After Abby's death at the hands of the vampires who attacked shortly after Daystar's release King took her to New Orleans. Here they started over leaving the Nightstalkers name behind them and living with Isis. It was also here they discovered Daystar's effect on prepubescent humans which has given her added strength, speed and a natural resistance to younger vampires charms. Despite the bonuses that Daystar has given her and her new life, Zoe has yet to forget that it was Drake who murdered her mother. While the other hunters and most vampires have sort of accepted his death she has not and still plans to kill him one day.

Isis Degon

HUNTER • 29 • MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ

Seven thousand years is a long time for lineage to survive the test of time. A descendant of the priestesses that created the Father of all vampires, Isis is to her knowledge the last of her bloodline and the heritage as a whole. However, she wasn't always aware of this fact. After the powers being dormant in the family line for some centuries, it was rather unexpected for them to reemerge in the young Isis at the age of ten, accidentally conjuring up a flame with a mere thought. Since then, she was taught to control and spread her talents in the old teachings, eventually falling into the ranks of helping hunters on their quest to kill vampires. Later, also becoming Zoe Sommerfield's adopted mother-like figure when Hannibal showed up on her doorstep in New Orleans seven years ago.

WHISTLER

HUNTER • UNKNOWN • KRIS KRISTOFFERSON

It didn't take a genius to know something big was going down at the time he last saw Blade. Whistler may be old, but he sure was no fool. The blast got him good, but for some reason he can't fathom, fate apparently didn't want him dead. He found himself washed up beneath their hideout in a sewer of all places. He apparently washed up there when the building went all burst to bits. Since then, Whistler bowed out, letting Blade take the reigns on the case, figuring as old as he was it might have been better to try to live out the rest of his life in peace, especialy after the death of his last daughter. Of course, for this man that was a little to much to ask. Seven years of putting his feet up, he had to come out of retirement when he got attacked by a vampire and later got wind an old 'friend' of his and Blade's was apparently regrouping.

BAIN ANDERS

HUNTER • 40 APPEARS 30 • TOM HARDY

There are very few fights that Bain walked away from. One of which was the fight that he always knew he was residing on the wrong side of. An underground fighter, he was the prime pick to be the muscle of a head vampire's plots.Conned into becoming a vampire, he spent ten years under their thumb. But knowing no other way to get out of it, he went along with it, doing as he was asked. Unlike most of the population of vampires, he wasn't so easily swayed to the chaos. Naturally, when he found out that those who were killing of their numbers, and furthermore knew of a cure, Bain turn-coated and instead reverted back to his human status. Despite this, he's is the last person to sell someone out, and his extremely loyal to Hannibal and Isis's group of hunter misfits. The former, being now one of his good friends with their mutual bond.

BEAU LeBLANC

HUNTER • 29 • TYRESE GIBSON

Beau started out as a gangster, but he had morals at least. He protected his neighborhood and so did his crew. They kept trouble out even though they got looked down on just as bad as the gangs. That was of course until Hurricane Katrina hit and they did their best to take care of the people in the area, especially when the vampires came. At first Beau did not have a clue as to what they were dealing with but slowly he figured things out. After several months of defending their territory they were aided in a particularly nasty fight by King and company. Beau got to talking with them and was impressed by their almost heroic mission, so he joined up and began to learn more about vampires and werewolves. He's might be a big man but he has a big heart too which makes him very protective of the girls in the group, a trait him and King seem to share.

LANCE KEELE

FAMILIAR • 27 • TAYLOR KITSCH

They say that love makes a man do crazy things, well that's what happened with Lance. He'd spent his whole live around Rue Burbon and Royal St, running craps games, being a card shark whatever he could do to get some cash. Then he met her and his whole world changed. The worst part was he never learned her name but he discovered quickly if he wanted her he had to start at the bottom. So Lance became a familiar it started when he was nineteen but by the time he was twenty-three he became aware that being a familiar was not all he'd thought it would be. When news filtered through the ranks that Dracula or Drake as he was actually called had been killed by Blade and a group of hunters the pure-bloods of New Orleans panicked. His lady love and many other pulled up stakes and left, leaving him high and dry so being a quick minded fellow he decided it was time to use his talents for other purposes. Working in a local pub he became the eyes and ears of the Underground so to speak and now uses this information to trade with the hunters if only to save his own skin. While the vampire who marked him is no longer around, he's still a familiar just more of a freelance one now.

DOTTY LEWIS

HUNTER • 35 • KIRSTEN VANGNESS

While aligning herself with the band of hunters, Dotty helps them on a more technical aspect then actively going and killing vampires. Sought out specifically by Isis due to her prowess with computer hacking abilities, Dotty is also very well versed with nursing skills. In fact, before she found herself wrung up with the hunting crowd, she was working in a hospital as a resident nurse in Los Angeles, when Isis stumbled onto her. These two traits combined made her an immeasurable asset to her group, who's always looking for some encryption to be hacked, as well as wounds in need of stitching.

ADAEZE LAVEAU

Voudou Priestess • 27 • Alicia Keys

Adaeze has learned to deal with her heritage after all being the Great-great grandaughter of New Orleans most famous Voudou Queen Marie Laveau does come with perks. She never has to worry about anyone really bothering her aside from the vampires now but she can deal with them easily enough. She tends to keep to herself and her little occult shop she runs just off of Royal Street. When someone comes for help she does her best but she tries to avoid anything vengence related as it tends to get ugly. This is not to say she has not done things she'll probably live to regret but she'll cross that bridge when it comes. Adaeze is more of a neutral force in New Orleans since the hurricane damage, trying to help where she can when she can. Many except her help gratefully while others question the Voudou Priestess real motives.
