Faith was sitting on her bunk reading, as usual, but due to her ADHD she couldn't concentrate. She sat up from the position she had been in and whacked her head on the bed above. "Ow!" she exclaimed as she rubbed her head. She felt a small bump where she had hit the bed and decided not to poke it as that would probably result in more pain. She wished she had more common sense as then she probably would have looked before sitting up. Her dad was always saying to her "All brains and no common!". It was true. Faith was extremely clever but never used any common sense. She doubted she even possesed any. She looked around the deserted cabin and wished someone would come and join her. She felt she could get on better with children of Athena better than any others. They were like her. She hadn't actually spoken to any of her fellow campers yet but she'donly been there a little while.
Faith stood up, minding her head this time, and started pacing the room. She was extremely fidgety and as she paced she remembered some thing Aurora, her step-mum, was constantly telling her. "You look so anxious when you pace. Stop it, you're making me feel anxious now!" Faith wasn't even feeling anxious. Not at all. She just wished someone would come and talk to her. 'Faith' she thought 'If you want someone to talk to you, go OUTSIDE!' Faith dismissed this thought and went back to sit on her bunk. Someone was bound to come in at some point.

Honey was wandering around the Camp, tottering slightly on her three inch stilettos, just sightseeing really. She knew the Aphrodite cabin was going to be the prettiest, by FAR, but she was eager to know what this weird cabin was over here. It had, like, an OWL on it. Totally weird. The people who lived in this cabin must be either complete nutjobs or have the stupidest fashion sense EVERRR.
"Knock knock," she drawled, lazily, not actually bothering to knock or caring who was inside. She just walked right on in. "Ew. There is like... NO PINK." she commented. Then she saw some girl on the top bunk of a bed. Honey couldn't stifle her mean laugh. "Who are you, loser? You got no friends?" she taunted. She stared at the girl's clothes. "Personally, I'm not surprised. You're never going to be liked by anyone unless you start wearing designer clothes! Look at your TOP! I mean, ew! I know everything there is to know about fashion, cuz guess who my Daddy is? He's CRISTIAN LOVEJOY. Yes, THE Cristian Lovejoy, creator of the world famous designer brand 'Lovejoy'! You should totally wear some. Otherwise you'll be a loser forever!" Honey brought out a lipstick and mirror, touching up her pout and ignoring the girl for a second. She rolled her eyes. "Look, I know what you're thinking. 'She's totally beautiful! How can I ever look like her?' And the answer is of course, you can't. NO-ONE is prettier than Honey Desire Appleblossom Cherry Sunshine Lovejoy, aka moi. But if you buy some Lovejoy, then you could be wearing an EXACT copy of what I wore to Dakota Fanning's birthday party! Which, obviously, only top celebs like me were invited to!" Honey laughed, girlishly. Oh, she would boast to ANYONE about the wonderful life she led.
Even nobodies like this owly girl.

Faith was utterly shocked. Who was this girl exactly? She was acting like the queen of the universe. As if Faith wanted to look like her. Faith was finding it hard to hold back a retort so she decided that today, self-control was going out of the window. Let the retort come.
"I like it in here with no pink, pink is for wusses and idiots so you must fall into both of those categories. In fact, you don't need the pink to see that. Who cares about fashion? We're demigods for crying out loud!" Faith was getting seriously annoyed with... who ever this was now and felt like grabbing her sword and slashing her. She eyed her sword devilishly but then thought, maybe not. Now was the time to be rational. "Umm, sorry. I should be nice to people considering you were right about the friends thing. Hi. I'm Faith. Who're you?" After quite a pause, Faith walked over to her sword in the corner of the room and tucked it under the bed so that she wouldn't be tempted to do anything... unreasonable. She walked over to what ever her name was and smiled a toothy grin. Shortly afterwards she remembered that she'd had a snack earlier and probably had food stuck in her teeth. She quickly covered her mouth and blushed. Faith was one of those people who blushed extremely easily.

Honey glared at the girl. "Pink, owl-face, is what's known as the colour of BEAUTY. Clearly you know nothing about this. I'm not a 'wuss' or an 'idiot', but I'm a fashion QUEEN." Honey was getting sick of everyone going 'we're DEMIGODS, we're DEMIGODS'. SHE KNEW SHE WAS A DEMIGOD. But she was also a daughter of Aphrodite! Who was the GODDESS OF LOVE AND BEAUTY! Urgh, these people were stupid. She'd made several enemies already. Clearly noobody could appreciate how cool she was. "What are you... DOING?!" Honey saw the girl's eyes flick towards a sword in the corner. She wouldn't dare... would she?? "IF YOU SO MUCH AS TOUCH ME I'M CALLING MR D." Honey had yet to find out who 'Mr D' was, but Marina had mentioned him briefly, and she thought it would be a convincing threat to use. Of course, the GIRL didn't know she didn't know who Mr D was. "Umm, sorry. I should be nice to people considering you were right about the friends thing." the girl said. "Well of COURSE I'm right," Honey glared, like it was obvious. "I know a loner when I see one. Oh, and before you ask me, I only make friends with COOL people. i.e. not you." "Hi. I'm Faith. Who're you?" "Honey Desire Appleblossom Cherry Sunshine Lovejoy, Daughter of Aphrodite and Cristian Lovejoy," Honey rattled off, smugly. She looked around the cabin, wrinkling her nose. "And I suppose this is the Hermes cabin? The one where all the unwanted losers go? Oh, and the owl is Hermes' symbol, right?" She didn't need to question this. She knew she was right. "You say you've got no friends like you're PROUD of it or something. Tell me, do you have a LIFE?"

'Great' Faith thought as she stared at Honey. 'I try to make friends and I go and make an enemy. Absolutely perfect' Honey was very pretty, Faith had to admit, but all of that beauty must have pushed out all of the brains. It was clear that Honey thought she had some sort of 'power of pretty' as she said she'd call Mr D. but Faith wasn't going to attack a person she'd just met, especially when she was trying to make a friend. Faith wasn't the least bit annoyed or worried that Honey had called her uncool. She was proud of being a nerd and a bookworm and was quite happy to show it off. In a way it was 'Cabin Pride'. Showing off the wisdom of Athena.
"Um, actually, you're wrong. I have been claimed and this is the Athena cabin. Athena's symbol is the owl. Owl's are wise and pretty cool. You're in the home of the goddess of wisdom and battle strategy's children. We're real smart and proud of it. I didn't have much of a life back in Ohio but I don't care about that now. I'm here and ready to become a great warrior." Faith was quite happy with her little pride speach and smiled rather smugly at Honey.
Then she remebered that Honey was the first person she'd spoken too and was being extremely unfriendly. "Hey. You know you're not going to make many friends treating people the way you treated me, so maybe you should rethink your attitude to people. Tell me, what exactly defines cool in your book? 'Cause in mine 'cool' is a nice person who's good enough to be your friend. Well obviously you're not cool in my book. You've done nothing but criticize and brag since you got here. Do you have any friends Honey Desire Appleblossom Cherry Sunshine Lovejoy?" Faith was seething with rage by this point and had to calm herself down. She was practically spitting the last few words of her sentence. What did the 'fashion queen' have to say about that?

Honey stared disbelievingly. "Athena?" she raised her eyebrows. "Like, the goddess of nerds?" she laughed. Oh. Wisdom. Same thing. When the girl did her little defensive speech, Honey resisted the urge to pat her head, patronizingly. "Aaah. Well, good for you. You go and have fun murdering people and looking like you just crawled out of a swamp. But don't come crying to ME when you never get a boyfriend!" she smirked. "Hey. You know you're not going to make many friends treating people the way you treated me, so maybe you should rethink your attitude to people." The girl was going to insist on talking back, wasn't she. Oh gods. "Tell me, what exactly defines cool in your book? 'Cause in mine 'cool' is a nice person who's good enough to be your friend." "You're pretty stupid for a daughter of Athena. Cool is people who dress well, are popular, and are totally pretty, duh. You can't be a nerd AND cool," "Well obviously you're not cool in my book," "And you think YOU are in mine?! You ARE thick." "You've done nothing but criticize and brag since you got here. Do you have any friends Honey Desire Appleblossom Cherry Sunshine Lovejoy?" the girl was really angry now, and Honey advanced on her, glaring down at her. "I have more friends than you will ever have in your life." she said, softly and menacingly. The her voice rose to a shrill yell. "And YOU DON'T KNOW what I've been doing since I got here! I've spent a lot of time with... a person, and he's lovely to me! AND THAT'S MORE THAN CAN BE SAID FOR YOU!" she shouted, appalled at being insulted in this way. She stamped her heel on the floor of the cabin in three-inch stilettos, hoping she'd cracked the floor or something.

Justin stood still at the entrance of the Athena cabin. He could here voices in there, sounded like girls. Oh fun! He thought. He put down his suitcase and ran his hands through his blond hair. He had to look good right? He entered the cabin and said, 'Hello girls!' He grabbed his suitcase and entered the nearest empty bedroom. 'So nice to be here you know! How are you two? My name is Justin and I'll be staying here at the Athena cabin! It's so nice to meet you!' He looked around, this cabin was amazing. Just like this camp. He was a demigod, he always knew he was special and now he was actually a God! Oh this was getting better and better. He opened his suitcase and unpacked his clothing and the rest. He had tons of clothing with him, but also a few drawing pads, pencils and a notebook with some pens, so he could write his new songs about his amazing half-God life.. Nobody had told him he couldn't tell anyone.. or maybe they had and he decided not to listen to it.
'Oh gosh, it's so amazing here!' he said. He walked back to the girls, who were sitting in a bedroom clearly. He dropped his drawing pad with his most amazing drawings, but didn't notice it. 'Mind if I join you?' he said happily. He had noticed that he was almost having a conversation with himself but he didn't mind, it was usual. So, there were two girls here.. no boys? Ah well, he lived with that too. So.. Where to begin? He thought. He was quite thirsty, but didn't know if they had some kind of fridge here. He looked around in the cabin but didn't see such thing. He looked at the two girls. He could almost smell the tension between the two of them. One was all pink, just like a.. he forgot the word. Fashionista! That was it, so.. she was wearing Lovejoy clothing then? He recognized the 'L's on her clothes. He thought Lovejoy was a little overrated, but he wasn't going to say that..The other girl looked average, sweet though, but average..

Faith was utterly appalled at Honey's behaviour and honestly thought her little tantrum was extremely childish. Faith was so annoyed and offended she couldn't think of anything else to say to Honey so she turned her back and ignored her. She went and sat on her bunk again and tried to bury her head in her book but her dyslexia was affecting her now more now than ever. The words swam off the page until all Faith saw before her were a bunch of blank, boring pages.
During Faith and Honey's 'disagreement', a boy had walked into the cabin and started making himself at home. He seemed oblivious to the shouting and mean atmosphere in the Athena cabin and seemed to have a cheery attitude. 'Is he my new half-brother?' Faith thought as her eyes followed him across the room. If he was, she'd better introduce herself, and fast as first impressions always count. She stood up and strolled across the cabin towards him, still ignoring Honey.
"Hi! I'm Faith, nice to meet you too! This is my cabin so I'll be here often but Lovejoy over there belongs to Aphrodite. You're right, this place is amazing!" Faith hoped this would help make the bad atmosphere melt away and possibly get her a friend. Possibly...

Honey stopped wailing and throwing her arms around as if she were a TV and someone had pressed 'Pause'. Some guy had walked in. And now... now that stupid owl-faced loser had the nerve to... IGNORE her?! She just turned back to her book. Annoying pig. It didn't even look that interesting. SHE didn't even seem to like it, and Faith was the one reading it. Honey stood there for a bit, debating how to get some more attention. The tantrum was done. She could go and rip up her book...? Nah. That was a little drastic. She could... hmm what could she - OH. A BOY walked in...
The boy came in and started making himself at home. "Um... heLLO?! DISCUSSION going on here...?" Honey pointed at herself and Faith. "Manners?! I mean, can't you SEE we're kind of having an argument right now?! Like, oh em GEE." Honey glared at the mysterious boy who seemed way too smiley. Like... so smiley it was ANNOYING. She already didn't like him, and she barely knew him. Well, she supposed she did tend to have preconceptions about people without really knowing them... She saw he was looking at her clothes. She smiled, smugly, realising that here was another meaningless peasant she could boast at. "Pretty, huh?" she raised her eyebrows at the boy, tilting the golden 'L' on her clothes so it glimmered in the light. "Real Lovejoy. My name is Honey Livejoy and yes, my Daddy DOES own the brand. I'm a model for it, you know, so I always get the newest collections WAY before anyone else." Honey twirled, showing off the Lovejoy she was wearing.
She flicked her hair back from her face, and noticed a familiar object on the floor. Oh, she'd seen these THOUSANDS of times at her daddy's catwalk events. She picked up the notebook, and flicked past a couple of drawings or something until she found a blank page. She looked at the boy. "Who do you want me to write the autograph to?" she asked, uncapping her lipstick, ready to sign his autograph book. She frowned. "You don't have many signatures, do you?" she noticed, flipping through the book. Yep. Just rubbish.
Faith had got up to greet the boy, totally disregarding Honey. "Oh no. You do NOT ignore me," she glared. But she only said it quietly. She was sick of Faith and her I'm-a-loser-which-makes-me-cool attitude already, and didn't really want a moral, squeaky response from the annoying mouse, thank you very much.

"Hi! I'm Faith, nice to meet you too! This is my cabin so I'll be here often but Lovejoy over there belongs to Aphrodite. You're right, this place is amazing!" the girl on the bed had said to him. She wasn't on the bed anymore though.. she now stood in front of him. 'I know right!' he said, cheerfully. He knew it, Lovejoy only makes fluffy pink stuff. And pink stuff belonged to Aphrodite, he hadn't thought differently than that. He surely was right again if she was the one inspiring her father to make these clothing.. 'Great girl, nice to meet you! he said, he didn't like the lovejoy brand, but it was cool enough to actually meet a relative of a great designer. 'Oh no, please don't put on autograph on there.' he said, knowing that she would do it anyway. He prayed silently, hoping she would pick a blank page. This was the book with his greatest drawings... Ah well, he could draw great things over the autograph, maybe make a new piece of artwork with it? Mmm... that was actually a great idea.. He was so full of ideas!
'Yeah well, nice to meet you then!' he said, again. He was just so excited sometimes that he forgot what he had said previously.. but he figured that this Honey girl wouldn't mind at all. Actually, who would ever mind talking about themselves? He was born in Miami, the best place to talk about yourself and.. surf! Of course.. yes, surfing. That was something he loved as well... Would he be able to do this at this, camp? Summer camp right? Son of Athena.. what was expected of him? Nothing much right, just.... be smart and draw? Haha, he laughed at himself.. That was pretty stupid as well... Oh! Right... he wanted to ask someone.. 'Does anyone of you play an instrument?' he asked the two girls.. He wanted to sing, he had brought his karaoke cd's and his ipod.. and his cd-player.. but real music was just so much better, it sounded way better.. And to sing in the open sky like this, at the shore of the awesome wavy lake. Yes, that was life. 'So girls, what's fun around here?'

Faith was finally making decent conversation with a nice person. Yay! Now all she had to do was keep it up and maybe she'd actually make a friend in this place. Justin was very talkative and sociable, something Faith wished she could be sometimes. It was a great skill to have but it never seemed to want to show in her. She was just too shy. He was also quite good looking. The moment this thought had entered her head, Faith thought of something else. Justin was technically her half-brother so anything like that would just be totally weird. Just out of the question. Once the thought had finally gone to the back of her mind, Faith went back to trying to make conversation.
Justin had asked about what there was to do around camp. Faith had no first-hand experience but she knew vaguely what there was. Here goes she thought. "Umm, things to do... There's a lake which is beautiful and there's archery practice and swordfigting practice. There's the amoury and the strawberry fields which are good to just go and relax. Also there's kids with all different talents thanks to their godly parents so it's a really great place to be!" Right, she thought, that should give him a nice mental image of the camp.
After her little verbal tour, Faith spotted out of the corner of her eye the book Honey was looking at. Well, not really looking at, more attempting to autograph. It was full of amazing drawings and Faith couldn't help herself. Even though she was supposed to be ignoring Honey, she walked over to her and gazed at the pictures. They truly were amazing. "Whoa. How did you learn to draw like this Justin?"

"Oh no, please don't put on autograph on there," Justin pleaded. Honey stared at the page, and then decided to obey the guy. She DID contemplate doing what she did to Matt, but... nahh. She didn't really need all that hassle again. "Nice to meet you too," Honey smiled her beautiful smile. Faith came over to Honey and started looking at the pictures. They WERE pretty good... but Honey was rather bad at art herself, and she didn't really want to keep looking at the pictures because she would make herself jealous.
"No, I don't play any instruments," she said to Justin. "I can sing SUPER well though." Honey smiled as she remembered that day she won that beauty pageant, and she came home, jumpedo n her bed and started singing, and then her Daddy came in and said she sholud go on American Idol. Actually, that would be fun... she would add it to the list of Things To Do In Later Life, currently consisting of "Be a model", "Be rich" and "Marry someone hot and rich".
"Fun stuff? Uhh... I don't know. I only got here today," she said. She closed the sketchbook, with a little "hm" (a compliment) and gave it to Faith. She would probably be more interested in it, seeing as she was all over Justin at the moment. "Oh yeah, the lake is pretty," she added, as Faith mentioned it. "I... yeah, it is." She came out of the corner and stood next to the two of them, feeling a little weird. She just came out of a tantrum, yet since Justin had walked in, the atmosphere seemed to calm a little. Weird. Maybe she DIDN'T have to throw tantrums all the time to get her way? It had worked all the time at home, for all fifteen years of her spoiled life, but now... since she'd come to Camp, not ONE person had tolerated them. And only one person had really tolerated HER. Possibly two, now that Justin was here (he didn't seem to hate her). But she realised that actually, she might need some friends here at Camp. Preferably some gullible minions, but she could seek them out at a later time. Neither Justin nor Faith seemed gullible or minion-like.
Honey had never really experienced such a situation where the focus wasn't on her. So she just stood, and observed.

Justin listened to faith. Sword practice? Hell No, that would make him sweaty and mess up his hair. Archery? No, he couldn't aim and he didn't have a thing for arrows.. Strawberry field? Might be interesting... Although strawberries could stain.. There was a lake? Oh good! But wait.. a lake didn't have waves right? Gah, how could he be able to surf then? There was a short silence as Faith decided to come over as well, looking at his amazing drawings. "Whoa. How did you learn to draw like this Justin?" 'Well, I didn't learn it. I was born with this talent,' he said. 'You probably have some creative or smart talent as well, since you're my half sister after all,' he said to Faith. She clearly was a little insecure. Why? Athena was and still is the most amazing Goddess of them all. In Justin's opinion she even beats Zeus. Pfft. Zeus was nothing, with his tiny little lightning bolts and the sky. Now Athena, she had wisdom, battle techniques, creativity.. and... even beauty clearly. Since Justin was very very handsome.
"I can sing SUPER well though." Honey said to him. Yeah, of course she could. Only he was slightly better than her, duh. Everyone knew that, no person named Honey could beat that. He looked at Honey. It was not that she was ugly.. he was just prettier than she was.. Although he had to admit that her choice of clothing was kind of good.. He sighed. She might feel too admired after what he was about to ask her.. 'Can I draw you?' he asked happily. He kind of wanted to draw everyone. Not like Seth, this wasn't going to be a collection of pretty girls. This was going to be a collection of well picked outfits.
