Full name: Kenyon James Tolls Nicknames: Kenny or Ken Age: thirteen Hair colour: brown Eye colour: Green General Appearance: Kenyon stands at about five feet 4 inches currently, though he always says that he is going to grow soon. He weighs at about one hundred and five pounds. He has short born hair that sometimes he spikes if he feels like he needs to. It never goes past his eyes though, he likes it short better. He has piercing green eyes that he knows for a fact that he got from his mom. His ears stick out a little from the sides, and his face comes down to a rounded jaw line and chin. It has a small cliff in it. His mouth his small with pale red lips. And a nose fits perfectly in the center of his face. Playby: Luke Benward Parents: Apollo and Anna Tolls General History: Kenyon was born on June 5th in San Francisco, California, in his mothers arms she felt like he was perfect. She named him Kenyon, because she really liked the name, James after her father, Tolls. It was the perfect name for him. Though she never knew that father. She was only twenty, and had a lot of flings over the years. She loved the party and had met a guy at a party, he had taken her home and the rest was history. The result was Kenyon. She loved him and it didn't matter who his father was, the point was he was born and here.
As the years went by though, Kenyon never stopped asking about his father. Soon stories about him turned into bed time stories, stories that weren't true. Anna found herself making up stories about a fake father just to keep Kenyon happy. He was a very persistent person, and he wouldn't take no for an answer. Soon enough, Kenyon found the world or sports, and he loved it. Soccer, football, baseball, anything and he loved it. He was only five years old when he started sports. Though he often started to have trouble in school. He was learning how to read slower than most of the other kids. His teachers wanted to hold him back, but Anna wouldn't allow it. She just wanted to get him out of school.
When he came into middle school, he started playing football for his school's team. He was pretty good too. He loved running. It was his favorite thing to do. But something he also kept from everyone else as well, is that he'd be inspired to write. He kept a notebook of poems that he wrote in his bookbag, and he hid it from everyone. When he was twelve, he and his best friend got into a fight with another kid, just at the end of the year. He was about to turn thirteen. They grabbed his notebook from his backpack and were teasing him about it, reading his poems aloud. He got angry and pushed the kid, who was much bigger than himself, and he fell to the ground and slide a couple feet on the ground.
No one really messed him with after that, except the same kid. He kept picking on Kenyon all through the summer, sometimes following him. His best friend seemed to stay with him everywhere he went also. Soon enough, the bully attacked him, and this time for real. His best friend lead him away, and to this Place called Camp Half-Blood, reassuring him that he would tell his mom that he was here and safe.
General Personality: Kenyon is a very caring person. He cares about people that are close to him a little too much, he would give himself up just to save everyone he has even known or loved. He wouldn't try to run or fight back to save a person he loved. He cares too much, and people often use that against him. He is also very determined though, if he wants something, he would fight to get it. Kenyon often also gets what he wants, he doesn't stop until he gets it. Loyalty, is also something that Kenyon is known for, along with trust-worthy. He keeps his friends secrets and would never betray any of them. He cares about them too much. It all revolved about caring and loving for Kenyon.
But around Kenyon's soft side, he also has anger issues. It takes a lot to get him to trust you. He has been lied to all his life by his mother, he really doesn't trust people too easily. He also gets very angry with people if they lie to him. So, as a word of advise, just don't lie to him, he likes the truth, even if it hurts. Kenyon can also be called a dreamer. A reason he had so much trouble in school is that he would often just sit there and day dream, he lives the ideas of dreams. But sometimes his imagination takes things a little too far, he has an over active imagination. He also likes to talk, he loves talking to people...a lot. | QUOTE | Hamlet took the next book from the top of the pile, opened it up, and started to scan. This one was a little bigger and a little more content. This stupid test was going to kill him. Couldn't he just calm down for one minute and hope that he was going to get through it without all this studying. But no, he just kept on reading. His brain started to hurt after a couple minutes though. Putting his head on the current book he had out, he sighed, a big great sigh. Something had to give. He couldn't keep going on like this for very long. Everything was gonna go wrong if he just tried to cram everything in his brain. No, he had to take a break. It didn't have to be for very long, just a break. Closing his eyes, he smiled at the darkness around his eyes. It felt good, unlike normal darkness when you know your eyes are open but you can't see anything. That kind of dark scared the fuck out of him. But no. This eyes closed darkness was the good kind. He liked it. It felt relaxing to him.
Suddenly, a voice came over him, and he opened his eyes. A boy, about his age, was trying to see if he could take a book from his stack. Honestly, Hamlet didn't mind. He was just about to take a nap anyways, and the boy could have taken a book from the top of the stack. But instead the boy took from the middle, and made everything come crashing down, including a drink. Shit. Why couldn't his power be to magically clean things up.
"Shit..." Hamlet muttered, starting to clean things up as he could with a couple napkins he had from his bag. Sometimes, Hamlet would grab extra napkins from the dining hall just in case he needed them in the future. Right now seemed like a good time to use them, since the libraries floor was carpeted and it was bound to stain if someone didn't clean it up pretty soon. Whatever the boy was drinking, it had been cold, because when Hamlet tried to clean it up, it soaked into the napkin and was freezing. But it worked, he kept patting the spot with napkins and eventually soaked most of it up. There was no stain to be seen. The carpet will be fine. "You're a lucky one...no stain." Hamlet said, looking down at the spot that was still damp, but not stained.
Then Hamlet looked up and finally got a good look at the boy that almost ruined his day. He was very cute, actually, extremely cute. He had never seen the boy around here before, so he must be new, or a freshmen. Yet the boy didn't seem much older than he was, or too much younger. Well not everyone came right here when they were of age to go to high school. Bastards. Anyways, Hamlet slightly smiled and held out his hand for the boy to shake. "The name's Hamlet...Hamlet Pierce." He started to pick up any books that would be left on the floor and set them on the table. "Next time though...pick from the top." He winked, where did this come from, a wink? Hamlet was always very quiet and to himself, yet he found himself winking at this boy. Something was wrong. He sat back in his chair and sighed. At least nothing was wrong with the books. |
