When he finally stopped tickling London let out a sigh of relief. However, saying that he wanted to test something made her feel very nervous. She closed her eyes for a second, trying to calm herself down when she suddenly felt his lips on her hand. Oh dear, what was he going to do? Apparently run a line of kisses up her arm, all the way up to her neck. Oh goodness. For a few seconds she closed her eyes and felt all the butterflies flutter in her stomach. Well, they seemed to be freaking out rather than fluttering.
The kissing stopped and she opened her eyes again. Whoa. "N-no.. That didn't tickle." Lies. It had, just in her stomach. Oh dear, he was leaning back in. Was he going to properly kiss her? Like for real? They had only just met. He couldn't be kissing her already, could he? No. He didn't kiss her on the lips. Thank goodness he didn't. She sat up as he fell back in the sand. "That didn't tickle either." she said and bit her lip, looking down.
She took a handful of sand and let it go through her fingers. Would it be the right time to tell him she had never kissed before? Should she even tell him? If he was going to kiss her today, she would have to. Yes. It was definitely time to tell him because she didn't want her first kiss to be not special. "Um, Seth.." she started, staring at the sand as she spoke. "I um.. I've never.." could she tell him? Well, not with looking at him. "I've never kissed anyone before." she said very softly and looked up at him slightly to see his reaction.

He took it as a good sign she did not hit him for being so forward. Maybe he had not lost his touch. It had take longer than usual, but she was effected by him now.
"N-no.. That didn't tickle," she said.
A stutter. She had stuttered. His kisses had made her stutter! He tried not to smile at that fact. Instead he hid his face by draping his arm over his face as if blocking out the sun. There was no way for him to tell that she had butterfly in her stomach, but while he was kissing her, his heart had been beating fast. He half expected it to beat so fast it would pop out of his chest like a derailed train.
It was returning back to normal now. He peeked out from under his arm when London started to talk. He was curious as to what she wanted to say. What ever it was, it had her flustered. Maybe she was still flustered from the kisses. It was hard to tell.
"I've never kissed anyone before," she said,
It was like she had dropped a bucket of cold water on him. How could that be? How could someone so pretty not have kissed anyone. He guessed her age to be about sixteen or seventeen. That was uncommon for someone with her looks. Sure, ugly people made it passed sixteen without ever kissing, but people that looked like London, unheard of.
He sat up slowly and stared at her for several seconds as he tried to come up with something to say. He knew beyond a doubt now, he could not kiss her now. He had to make sure it was perfect. He decided to go the joking rout.
"If you told me this because you thought I was going to kiss you, don't worry. That kind of kiss is saved for the third date" How he had kissed her, would usually be like a fifth or sixth or marriage sort of thing, but Seth had never been good at going in order.
He took her hand in his again, and massaged it with his thumb. "Don't worry, I know how important a first kiss is. If you want it to be me, then I'd gladly be that for you, and make sure it's special."
His first had not been really all the special. It had been a dare when he was like seven. He kissed Penelope Amber, a snot nosed ginger with a thick layer of freckles that seemed to form a second layer of skin. That's when he thought girls had cooties and shortly after he kissed her, he threw up in her face. Okay, if probably had nothing to do with her, as he had eaten a tuna sandwich that had been sitting in the sun for hours. But he always told the story as if her doodoo breath had induced the vomit

As London had expected the silence after her confession was a bit awkard. She wasn't actually able to read his expression that well this time but she wasn't sure if that was because he was good at hiding what he really thought, or she was just too distracted by being embarrased. She was almost starting to regret she had told him when he said exactly what she had hoped he would say.
He said he wasn't going to kiss her now and that he knew how important a first kiss was. She smiled and stared at his thumb massaging her hand. Even that was something no one had ever done. It was a bit odd. London knew she was very pretty and although not caring about it, it wasn't at all like she was unaware of it.
She could imagine him not understanding why she hadn't kissed before and she felt that she had to explain it to him. Except she didn't. She couldn't. That was too personal. Telling him she hadn't kissed before was already kind of personal but that was different because she did want him to kiss her, just not today. Telling him why guys had never wanted to kiss her, well that was a whole new level of personal.
Instead she just looked at him with a smile and said "I'm glad you think that way." and took his other hand in hers. "Hey did you bring swim trunks? I hear the lake is very nice to swim in, so, would you like to go swimming with me some time?" she asked him, a bit more confident now, like her normal self.

Seth knew that his previous silence had probably freaked her out, but she seemed to react well when he finally did speak. Seth had always been good at crafting his words so they met his goals. He saw it as yet another form of art. He rarely lied, he simply talked around the truth in some cases.
He was still trying puzzle together why she had never been kissed. Even if her personality was abysmal; which it wasn't, he'd probably try to kiss her for the sheer fact that she was beautiful. The boys at her school were seriously idiots. If he had been at her school he would have kissed her, he had little doubt. Seth however wasn't sure how he felt about possibly being London's kiss. He was an amazing kisser of course. His lips were soft and once he got some strawberry lip balm they would taste great too, but still being someones first was a big deal. It was even a bigger deal so late in life. It kind of freaked him out. He hoped it did not show on his face.
She took his other hand. All his worrying about being her first kiss faded a bit. He had never held a girl's hand so much. Most of the time it was just making out on a couch or something, but with London the subtle things, like holding her hand made his stomach flip.
"If you haven't noticed, the pants I'm wearing now are swim trunks." He let out one of his 1000 watt smiles. "If you wanted to see me shirtless again, all you had to do was ask." He laughed and prepared to avoid a slap or punch from London.
"So this swim, can that be considered our second date?"

"If you haven't noticed, the pants I'm wearing now are swim trunks." Nope, she had so not noticed that and she felt like a bit of an idiot for it. "Oh, yeah I see now." she said and chuckled slightly, mostly because of her feeling a bit stupid. It was a bit odd that London would feel stupid because she was a smart girl. It usually took quite a lot to make her feel like she was anything but the genius that she thought she was.
Then the shirtless comment came. London was still a bit distracted by his smile so she only got half of it. "Wait, what?" she said and looked at him a bit confused before she finally got what he had just said. She snorted and shook her head. "You think I wouldn't have asked if that was my intention?" she asked him, half laughing. Well okay, sure, seeing him shirtless was quite nice and also extremely distracting, but London did like swimming a lot and whatever Seth might have thought, this was why she asked. Well, okay, the shirtless thing had to do with it a bit. And water on skin also a bit. Just a little bit though.
London let go of one of his hands to ruffle through her hair, feeling that it was almost dry now and there was still a lot of sand it in. It felt almost like she had gone to the beach. London disliked the beach because she disliked salt water a lot. It got all sticky and annoying after a while. Bah.
"A second date hm.. I'd say that's fine." she said and took his hand again. Again she felt a bit stupid for holding his hands like she was twelve or something, but she just liked the feeling of his bigger than hers and much warmer hands. "How about tomorrow?" she asked with a smile.

"Oh, yeah I see now." she said
He laughed
"No, I don't think you would have asked me if that was your attention. No sane person would ask that directly, and that's what I like about you. You unlike most girls, are sane."
He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Sane, and beautiful." He leaned his head even more so he could kiss her neck. "And amazing," he said into her skin. He rested his head there for a moment. His forehead on her shoulder and his face pressed into her neck. He breathed in her sent. He could stay like this forever, but really he couldn't.
He leaned back and she let go of his hand to ruffle her hair. It looked nearly dry now. That was the only thing he didn't really like about London. Her hair color. If he saw one more blonde he was going to scream. It was such a generic coloring at this camp. Half of Aphrodite cabin, blonde. Now that was just silly.
She took his hand again.
"How about tomorrow?" She suggested
"That sounds fine. I'll make sure to wear a really hot bathing suit for your visual enjoyment of course." He pulled her hand to his lips and kissed the inside of her wrist. "I'll see you then my sweet. I must go work on your drawing so I can give it to you for our date." He pulled her into hug and then got up to retrieve his sketchpad and shoes.
"Until we meet again," he said before giving her another large smile and turning to go to his cabin.

Sane? London was sane? It had been a long time since anyone had considered her to be sane. Hah, it was nice to see someone didn't think she was completely mental. "I'm not as sane as you seem to think I am.." she said and closed her eyes when he kissed her forehead. Okay, fine she was sane if he wanted her to be. Again her neck. More butterflies. This was crazy. She had just met him and yet this was the effect he had on her whole body.
He moved away again. His face in her neck had been nice and warm and comfortable and she had wished he could have sat like that forever. Impossible, obviously. He would wear an extra hot.. what? That was silly. She chuckled softly and stared at him. How was it possible that someone was this amazing? Most people at camp just bored her half to death but Seth didn't. He was different.
And then he had to leave. After the hug and him walking off to his cabin she pressed her wrist to her lips with a smile. indirect kiss She got up, grabbed her shoes and walked off to her own cabin without putting them on. They would just get sand in them.
