Title: That's not my name!
Description: # 4 - Ancient Greek

Justin Skyler - January 1, 2012 10:43 PM (GMT)
Justin walked happily out of the Athena cabin with a big plate and another arm stuffed with papers. He had been preparing this lesson rather well and he was proud of it. He wasn't stupid, even if people thought so. No, he wasn't. He had been studying a few books and remembered them too, good enough to teach others about them at least. So he focused the rest of his time to make the place really cozy and comfortable for everyone. He had placed huge pillows he had borrowed from the big house in a circle in the Arena, where he was heading now. He had asked Aaron to import a whole bunch of cupcakes from the Hummingbird Bakery in London, and they had arrived exactly on time. Justin had arranged them on a huge plate, and hoped that all the campers were going to be happy with the little 'party' he had arranged. He had asked Mr. D if it was alright if the lesson was held later at night, not too late, but just like two hours after dinner. That way it would look more like a study night. He put the plate of colourful cupcakes down on a table/

He smiled as he installed the ipod dock, which could run on battery for quite a while and waited until everyone arrived. "Hey everyone!! Welcome to this lesson!" he said smiling. He felt good, happy. This was a good sign, a very good sign indeed. He had been feeling great ever since he and Monny got back together. He had had a great time with him already and he knew it was just going to get better. "Everyone take place on the soft pillows, after taking one of these cupcakes of course. We're doing Greek today!" he turned to his ipod. "I want you all to pay great attention to this song about the Greek Alphabet. Justin hit play and waited until the song finished.

Justin hummed a little with the melody, content on how cheerful this was in the arena. This was something else than blood spatters flying around and violence. No, Justin didn't like violence. "I hope you all listened carefully! Because I have a question about this for you. What is the 15th letter of the Greek Alphabet called?" he said and glanced at the fellow campers.

[OOC: Hello!! Welcome to the first non-fighting lesson! You can fodder everyone getting a cupcake with the a colour of preference icing! Please take time to listen to the video, it's a little over 2 minutes and it's just a really cool video! Later on in the lesson I shall do more writing, for now it's just listening carefully!! Have fun this lesson and just have a good time RPing!! Oh and Happy New Year!]

Caìtlynn Dreamcatcher - January 2, 2012 01:18 AM (GMT)
For the first time in a very long time, a very, very long time, Caìtlynn walked around with a smile on her face. It was strange and so relieving to finally feel good that she noticed the fact she was smiling, like all the time.
When she entered the Arena she only found Justin here standing next to his iPod docking system so she beamed at him when she came closer.

If she was informed right, Justin would give them the first non-fighting lesson and Caìtlynn liked this a lot. She wasn't of the fighting much, only if it involved looking at shirtless' Matthew so again, there was a reason to smile.
"Hi!" Caìtlynn breathed to Justin, while there were other people slowly dripping in.

Staying standing next to the pillows she suddenly noticed the coloured cupcakes. There actually looked rather cute! And she could pick one! Hurrying over to the table she took a light purple iced one and then decided she could better just take a seat on one of the pillows.

Listening to the song she knew for sure it's wouldn't get out of her head for the rest of the day. Caìtlynn didn't really like this sort of music but it was sure making you remember the pronunciation. Even though some of them weren't correct since they were pronounced by someone who didn't spoke Greek.
Finally the song seemed over, although it still sounded in the back of her head, she knew the fifteenth letter of the Alphabet. Raising her hand she smiled at Justin when he glanced over in her direction. "It's Omicron," lowering her hand in her lap again she shifted a little on the pillow. She was so glad there was no fighting this time!

Pixserie Jameson - January 3, 2012 02:34 AM (GMT)
Pixie was having a relatively good day. It was sunny as usual, her IPod was fully charged unlike the usual 20% that she kept it at, and things were just generally going really good. So she was smiling while she happily skipped into the Arena, not really knowing what was going on specifically that day, but what she saw were pillows and cupcakes. So it had to be a good lesson, cupcakes were almost always a good thing. Pixie was a talkative person, but she liked talking to people one on one. Groups just weren't her thing. And that was the exact reason why Pixie was keeping to herself, letting it be one of those very rare times when she was actually willing to be quiet. That and the fact that so far, she didn't see many people that she actually knew, but maybe someone would show up.

For now though, she picked up one of the cupcakes with red icing and sat herself down on one of the pillows. Honestly, the song was kind of catchy. There was no way that song was getting out of her head anytime soon, not that it was a bad thing or anything. Then the song was over, and in full honesty Pixie had no interest to respond to the question. Replaying them in her head she might have been able to answer it, but if there were other people here, she should definitely let them answer. Pixie would have stumbled with her words, and it just wouldn't have turned out well. The girl who had answered had done a much better job then she would have, leaving her to the conclusion that it had been a good idea to leave someone else to answer.

So for now, she bit into her cupcake, which would probably leave her teeth pink due to the icing. But it was better then her teeth being like, green.... maybe. Green wasn't her color, red was. But she was simply letting her eyes wander around, sitting on the pillow criss-cross with her hands holding her cupcake, resting on her lap humming the tune to the Greek alphabet song.

Cody Meyers - January 3, 2012 05:25 AM (GMT)
How in on earth had Justin been made the cabin leader of ATHENA. Athena, the goddess of wisdom. He was about as wise as a crushed frog on the side of the road. His annoynce had been compling with many things at camp. Usually Cody was so good at masking his emotions. He thought things through carefully before acting, but his anger was piling up far too fast to keep track of. This camp was filled with useless pieces of trash and he could not take it anymore. He felt brain cells dying every time he had to talk to these people. He seriously wasn't sure how long he could deal with these people.

Cody could not help but roll his eyes at what Justin apparently had planned for the lesson. It looked like the others were even enjoying. Such useless minds wasted on exceptional crafted higher beings. They were demi gods. They were supposed to be superior to regular humans. These people were far from that.

Cupcakes, hmmm. "Oh, cute." He picked up a cupcake and dropped it. "Oops, butterfingers." A small smile twisted at the edge of his lips. "I'm sure it would have tasted good."

"So Justin, is the purpose of the class to teach us incorrectly? Because that little song of yours." He pointed at him in disgust, "is riddled with errors. For one the pronunciations are off in several cases. I congradulate you on picking a repetious device. Statistically speaking, such musical devices are useful for teaching, but that's only if they are correct. If wrong, you force into the mind incorrect information that plays over and over in the mind and is nearly impossible to undo." Cody clapped. "Congratulations you just rotted impressionable young minds". Son of Athena and he didn't even know proper Greek. Pathetic.

Charles Bell - January 4, 2012 04:29 PM (GMT)
The New Year had started and Charles had been a bit lonely since Caìtlynn came back and spend all of her time with Matthew. Charlie wasn't a jealous type of guy he just really missed her. Charlie had tried to make more friends but it just didn't seem to work out. Charles walked over towards the arena and smiled, he was wondering what Justin had in store for them. He was surprised to hear that the class was held later then normal.

Charlie walked into the arena and was glad he wasn't the only one there.
He directly walked over towards them, "Hi, Caìt no Matt?" He said teasingly to her. "Good Evening Justin" Charles said polite. He never really had the opportunity to talk with him and now they actually had. "Hey Pixie" Charlie gave the girl a polite nod with a big smile on his face. "Cody" He then said to the boy whom he actually only knew by name. He sat down on one of the pillows close to Justin.

Charles rubbed in his hands when he heard the song Justin gave them to listen. He really wanted to get stared. It was strange though, even though he didn't have any real lessons from a Greek teacher his mother taught him over the years they spent in Greece. This class wasn't going to be hard for him, but bragging about it wasn't what he was going to do.

"Σκάσε" He said to Cody with a foul look in his eyes. "If you are so good then, let me her you speak it” Who thought this boy that he was? If he didn't wanted to be here go away then.

[ooc: Σκάσε = Shut up]

Pepper Clancy - January 4, 2012 09:17 PM (GMT)
No, Pepper wasn’t punctual at all. Being on time had never been a strong trait of hers. In fact, she didn’t care at all in the slightest. There were very few things she considered worthy enough to arrive as scheduled for. One of the things that wasn’t on this very short list was that of training sessions. Her own, private ones could occur whenever she wanted. But these mandatory ones led by camp counselors? She wanted to miss them all since she saw no point. The demigod could train herself as equally effective, or so she believed. But being there to make things difficult for whoever was leading them was far too tempting to resist. When she had heard that this next one was being led by Justin, of course she was going. Not because she assumed she’d learn something, but rather she figured that it would be a blast to make it challenging for him.

As she wandered into the arena, her hazel eyes scanned the area. Why on earth was it in the evening? This would be a complete waste of her time. Pepper supposed she could skip it and claim she didn’t get the memo that the time was later than usual. Frowning, she cautiously nudged one of the pillows with her toe, as if they were a trap. She completely ignored the cupcakes and their disgustingly bright colours. Taking a seat near Cody, Pepper gave him a curt nod in greeting before turning her attention back to Justin and the pathetic little song playing. Raising an eyebrow as she listened to the thing, she wondered if it could even be considered a song.

“That sure doesn’t sound like music to me. Are you trying to completely murder our sense of hearing?” the redhead jeered, arms crossed as she looked on with a scowl. Though as she listened to Cody carry on and blatantly insult the older boy, her expression morphed into a smirk. Yes, this lesson would be exceptionally entertaining. Turning to Charles, the daughter of Ares glowered at him. She could be pretty frightening when she wished. No, she wasn’t being defensive over her ally...not really. “A first step of speaking it is to get a teacher who’s actually intelligent enough to teach,” she scoffed. The entire song, she had hardly followed along. She could easily learn more from a book than sitting there in the arena, and Pepper absolutely never read.

Cato Armstrong - January 5, 2012 04:15 AM (GMT)
This was stupid.

Why would Cato want to go to a non fighting lesson? He always hated lessons, so why was he going to one at camp? Cato didn’t even want to know what they were learning about, since chances were he wouldn’t care. If it wasn’t clear, he wasn’t in the best of moods. Really, most things involving lessons or learning put him in a bad mood. Why? Because he was terrible at all this kind of stuff, no matter how easy it was. All he wanted to do was sleep, listen to music, flirt and fight. Not learn. Learning was for suckers. He already knew what he needed, right? So you may be asking why he was even heading to the lesson. The answer is simple.

Noa made him.

He wouldn’t even think about going if it wasn’t for her. Actually, he didn’t want to go even if she was going. He had tried to talk her out of it, but somehow she managed to get him to tag along to the lesson. How did she even manage to do that?

Taking a random cupcake since he wasn’t one to turn down food, Cato made his way over to where Cody and Pepper were. Nodding to them as a greeting, Cato looked to Noa, making it clear he wanted her beside him. When Justin started playing that song, Cato totally zoned out. It was an awful, annoying song, but Cato wasn’t going to speak up about it. Aside from a few smirks at both Cody and Pepper’s comments, Cato stayed pretty quiet. He didn’t what the fifteenth Greek letter was anyways.

{permissions granted for dragging Noa around}

Justin Skyler - January 5, 2012 08:39 AM (GMT)
"That's correct Caìtlynn! Well done," he said, reaching behind his table to get her a small present. It was a lâncome lip gloss. Yes he got presents for the fellow demigods. He had been doing research and learned that praising a student after doing something well improves their knowledge about the subject. Yes he also had things for the guys, if they would only be a little braver to answer the question. The alphabet had been repeated several times in the song, it shouldn't be that hard.

He frowned when Cody started to talk. He hated the way he looked at him. Justin wasn't ugly at all and he wouldn't stand it longer to be mistreated. Yet he had to set the example here, because he was a sort of teacher now. Then Pepper opened her mouth. Great. She and Cody fitted so much together that he started to wonder if their bad moods just came from sexual frustration. Just makeout and get it over with, that's what he thought anyways. "May I remind you two that I never actually said we were speaking Greek today? This song was just to get you in the mood for the Greek language and it sounds pretty cool if you ask me. Now, if you're not in the mood for the lesson, please leave because you're disrupting class," he said briefly, though he did sound a little nervous. Yes he was afraid of Cody. So? Who wouldn't be if Cody was trying to destroy his life.

"Okay, for the next part of class we're going to write the names of our Godly parents in the Greek letters." he grabbed a small stack of papers, with the table of the Greek letters on them. "I want you to write the name as accurate as possible. These symbols are important to write correctly, or they may be mistaken for another symbol." he went around the classroom again to hand everyone an empty sheet of paper and a pen. He went back to half empty plate of cupcakes and got out some cups and tea. "If you're thirsty, I made some tea for everyone."

[OOC: it is logical that everyone can complete this task, seeing as everyone has the table. You don't actually have to draw the symbols or type them or stuff like that, just foddering is enough. Please do mention if the symbols are copied perfect or sloppy or anything, so I can work on that for the next post.

Noa Burton - January 5, 2012 09:20 AM (GMT)
Noa knew it was important to go to the lessons and so she had managed to convince Cato to go with her. While the beginning of the lesson had been a bit.. odd, what with the song and all, and really, Cody was right about some of the pronunciation being wrong. It was weird agreeing with him but she was fairly sure that Justin had no intentions of teaching them Ancient Greek wrongly. And they wouldn't even be speaking this lesson.

Not that any of it mattered. When they got the second task, she leaned over to nudge Cato with her elbow. "Hah, we both got easy ones. Not too many letters to write there, huh." Noa said and carefully started copying the symbols. She was glad to see one of the lessons was finally not completely about fighting and practising with swords and bows and arrows. She remembered Jake getting shot in the arm and briefly she wondered how he was doing. Wasn't he leaving anyway? She wondered if Marina would go with him. They were a sort of couple after all, weren't they?

She glanced over at Cato and sighed softly. Maybe they would be a couple some day, too. She definitely wouldn't mind that. He was cute and cool and really nice. To her at least, for she wasn't entirely sure how he was around other people.

In her chain of thoughts she had stopped writing and was now blankly staring at Cato, although she hoped it looked like she was staring at something behind him. Quickly she snapped out of it and continued writing. When she finally finished, she held out her paper to Cato with a smile. "What do you think?" Noa asked him. Of course she would ask his opinion over Justin's. "It matches pretty good, huh.." she said with a big smile. Yeah. Finally a lesson she was actually good at.

Charles Bell - January 5, 2012 10:28 AM (GMT)
Charles had to say they where quite right about the sing but it didn't gave them the right act like that to Justin. Who knew maybe Justin was one of the smartest kids around and just acted the way he was. Charles listens to Pepper as she said that Justin might be dumb. He wasn't going to reply to Pepper.
The pronunciation from the song wasn't really right, but well it was a fun way to learn the Greek alphabet. He didn't really need this less actually; his Greek was good enough to speak and to understand by a Greek.

The next thing they had to do was writing down there godly parents name in Greek. Charles raised his eyebrow. He wasn't going to complain because he wasn't like that but he could write Greek when he was 10 or something, speaking was still a difficult but well he couldn't talk to a Greek person everyday. He knew Marina was Greek but he actually didn't know why but they never really talked. It was a bit odd right Charlie was multilingual; he learnt French and English of course since the day he was born.
Because his parents where archaeologists and they took him with them, he had to learn all these other languages like Greek, Spanish, Arabic and even Latin. He had to be honest sometimes he confused them with others.

Justin turned a smile on this English boys face. Charlie wasn't really fond of cupcakes but Tea always made his day. He could drink it all day long. Charles walked over to get himself one delicious cup of tea. He walked back towards his pillow and sat down carefully he didn't wanted to spill his liquid gold.
Everybody would think yeah of course he drinks tea, he is English but Charlie learned how to drink tea in Morocco and loved it since.
He took a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down without looking at the table he gave them. It was actually stupid to do so, Charles didn't wanted to brag but sometimes things he said or did just looked like he did, or other people assumed he did.

Daniel McAllen - January 5, 2012 06:10 PM (GMT)
Lessons. How irritating. Lessons meant classes, and classes meant boredom and Daniel happened to be one of those people who did not get along well with boredom. In fact, that was his only enemy. Still, he walked towards the place where the lesson was being held and scanned the place for a while, looking for a familiar face. And there it was, the one and only Pixie Jameson. Well, maybe that could make the class a lot more amusing that if he had just sat alone. So Daniel made his way towards Pixie, stopping to say hi to the few people he knew "Hey Charles," he said politely as he walked by until he finally reached his target. "And hello Pixie," he said to her with a crooked smile on his face as he sat down next to her.

A song? They were actually going to listen to a song? Daniel wondered if he had gone all the way back to kindergarten when he heard that. Well, demi-gods were amusing. Shortly after, the famous song started. Daniel felt as if someone was tickling his brain and making him uncomfortable, as if that was offending his intellect but...he was humming? He was humming to the song! Oh dear, well it happened to be catchy! Besides he needed to learn that stuff, didn't he? Yes, so even though he considered it childish, he also considered it quite amusing.

The song finished and Daniel found himself giggling quietly. It was funny, and he actually remembered the pronunciation. No, but he was all grown up now. Yeah. Sure. So he stopped giggling and simply smiled while Justin instructed them what they were going to do next.

So apparently, they were going to write down the name of their godly parent in the sheet of paper that Justin had just handed them. Hmm, well, that didn't sound that hard, now did it? No, especially since there was a chart with all the Greek Letters on it. It wasn't exactly the funniest thing to do but it was a challenge. So Daniel looked at the chart and his blue eyes stayed fixed in it for a while. Okay, so maybe it was a bit harder than he had expected but it wasn't impossible. Okay so first it was Alpha, the quivalent for A. Daniel tried his best to write it as beautifully as possible. Then he continued with the rest of the symbols, taking some time to write them as well as he could. And finished! Geez! it took him some time but now that he saw them, well they weren't as sloppy as he thought. "What do you think? Do they match at least a little bit?" he asked Pixie.

Cody Meyers - January 5, 2012 07:04 PM (GMT)
Cody gave Pepper a sideways glance. At the moment he did not really need her help. Sometimes she was useful for backup but when dealing with Justin it was not needed. Like using an atomic bomb on a puppy. It simply wasn't practical. He glanced at Cato and Noa and gave them slight nods. Cody would have been impressed by Justin's semi backbone if obvious nerves weren't in his class.

"I'm simply pointing out a flaw in your lesson plan. It's for the benefit of all. If anything I'm the class. You seem to suffer under the delusion I wish to be here. You forget this session are mandatory. Rather not have Mr. D on me for skipping it. If it were option I would. And if recall, you asked us to tell, in words what one of them. Thus, we did have to speak it and thus that song could have produced a wrong pronounced answer."

People challenging him got so annoying sometimes. Sure, people that challenged him that had half a brain cell were fine, but others. He gave Charles a cold glare. Then he relighted the Greek alphabet with the correct pronunciation. "In my sleep little boy." He didn't even know what the big deal was. As demigods they were drawn to Greek. All of these fools could probably do it if they tried.

"But I see your point," he said with equal coldness towards Justin. It was at this point Cody realized that Justin simply could not be allowed to exist anymore. "I'm sorry for teaching your class the correct way. I won't do it again Professor Skylar." He said all this in a flat tone that had no hint of sarcasm or mockery.

So with that said, he went to do as the class instructed. He wrote down Demeter's name in the Greek alphabet and sighed. What a waste of time.

Pepper Clancy - January 5, 2012 10:31 PM (GMT)
Was Pepper going to survive this entire lesson? Probably not. Without much hesitation, the girl was positive she would simply walk out of the arena when she got fed up enough. Anyone who thought Justin was a good teacher had to be clearly mistaken. After being at the camp for a couple months, Pepper had, amazingly so, gone ahead to try and learn Greek by herself. In no way she was studious, but she had occasionally tried to find a source to learn it from. She had memorized a majority of the alphabet’s letters, but she didn’t think sitting through this torture was worth it to try and learn the rest. Fine, she wasn’t the most intelligent person herself, but only because she didn’t try. If she did manage to put some effort into it, the girl could often surprise herself with what she could accomplish. As expected, she doubted she’d make any progress with this class.

Smirking when Justin called the two of them disruptions, this was pleasing news. At least she was getting on his nerves. While she didn’t hate the Athena demigod to the same extent as Cody, she still couldn’t stand him. Plus there was that leftover resentment after that game of truth or dare when he’d made her kiss Cody and yeah… No more thinking about that. But at mention of the possibility of leaving, Pepper shrugged with a cheeky expression. “I’ll probably take you up on that offer later,” she said smugly, knowing that there was a high chance she would. No one could say she couldn’t exit if their “professor” had said she was allowed to.

As she was handed one of the sheets of paper and a pen, the redhead grimaced. Fantastic, writing. This was worse than speaking. It required more effort. Not to mention, she rather detested her own handwriting which was reasonably messy a majority of the time. Then what was this? Tea and cupcakes? “Since when did this become a tea party?” she commented in a rather annoyed fashion, unable to hold her tongue. What was happening to this camp? Pageants, dances, and now lessons like this? Where were all the chariot races, capture-the-flag games, and classes with real swords? Grumbling some complaints under her breath, Pepper apprehensively glanced at the chart of letters. Thank goodness her father’s name was nice and short. Though, as she wrote down the name "ΑΡΕΣ" in her scrawl, she raised an eyebrow at the appearance of it. It looked like ape, as in monkey.

“This is stupid…” she muttered, dropping the pen on the ground as she stretched her thin limbs for a moment. If she hadn’t forgotten her lighter in the cabin, she would have taken it out ages ago to play with. Perhaps she could have set some of the paper on fire and cause a little fun.

Pixserie Jameson - January 5, 2012 10:52 PM (GMT)
Pixie was honestly kind of ticked when Cody showed up. The girl should have expected it considering she was going to a class. But it still sucked that he was there, the class could have gone so much better if he hadn't had shown up by some miracle. Then Charles showed up, which wasn't that bad, him she didn't mind in the least bit. "Hi Charles" she greeted back politely. But then Pepper went and showed up, and she might have just managed to annoy Pixie even more then Cody did, which was pretty hard from what she had heard from him. Honestly, the song had been just fine. Instead of complaining about it they should have just shut up and stopped whining about it. No! Pixserie Jameson couldn't think things like that, they were much too negative for her. So she just shook her head to get the negative thoughts out.

Then someone else showed up, whom she was sure she had seen briefly once, but she didn't know by name. But for now, she didn't particularly need to be paying attention to who was coming into the Arena. For now she could concentrate on doing her next task, write the name of her godly parent in Greek letters, in her case this was Athena. So, taking the paper and pen, she copied down Athena onto it. Honestly, it turned out a lot better then she had expected, they weren't what she would call perfect or anything. But it did look pretty darn good if you asked her, and then there was tea. Pixie herself wasn't that big a fan of tea, so she stayed sitting, admiring her work. When Danny showed up. Thank goodness, because she was really sick of this frown that Cody and Pepper managed to stick on her face unconsciously.

"Hey Daniel!" she piped, kinda quietly, wiping the frown on her face and replacing it with her usual bright smile. A minute later, she leaned over a bit to examine Daniel's work. "Looks great to me" she stated with a smile, readjusting herself back onto her own pillow. Then Cody had to speak up again, and once again she was frowning, and grumbling to herself. He, seriously needed to shut up. And as for what Pepper said. No one cared what she thought about it. And honestly, she would have been more then glad to have them both leave right now, her life would have been made so much better at that precise moment if they would have. But the probability of that was unlikely.

Either way, she was still grumbling to herself and frowning and just plain looking around the room. It was hard to find someone who could annoy Pixserie, but these two had most certainly managed.

Cato Armstrong - January 7, 2012 01:29 AM (GMT)
Cato was half listening to Cody, half totally zoned out. He hated lessons. Ohh, and he could hear someone humming that stupid song. Who would hum that pathetic excuse for a song? Idiot, whoever it was.

Oh god. Writing. Cato didn’t like doing that at all. “Yeah, lucky.” He mumbled with a half smile over at Noa. No, he wasn’t lucky. This was why he didn’t go to these stupid things. This was stupid. Completely, utterly stupid and a complete waste of his time. He could be training right now. Plus, he would never need to know how to write Greek, right? Cato didn’t even notice Noa watching him because he was to wrapped up in trying to write out the stupid letters to Ares name.

After being finished, he looked down. The letters were terrible. Messy, sloppy and far from the perfect symbols that Noa had on her paper. “Yeah, yours are perfect. Way better than mine.” Cato said, shoving the sheet of paper away from him. Yeah, no more of that. Everyone was probably close to perfect on this and here he was completely failing. Cato didn’t like the feeling. Not at all. He also hated he needed help, but just maybe he would allow Noa to help him, if she offered.

Instead of focusing on his letters like he should have been, Cato ripped off the corner of another piece of paper, crumpling it into a little ball and rolling it in between his fingers. Hmm... what to do. Taking the little ball of paper, Cato flicked the ball in his sister, Pepper’s hair. It was just like classes back at home. Not focusing, messing up and attempting to distract others. Plus, he’d probably get a laugh out of annoying his hot-headed sister.

Daniel McAllen - January 7, 2012 01:33 AM (GMT)
Daniel was glad that he had found Pixie. In fact he was just elated about the fact that he wasn't going to sit alone. Well, thing was that he was much of a lonely person, he liked company and liked to have someone to talk to if he ever got bored during a class. Besides, even though he had been at camp for quite some time now, he didn't really have many friends, except for Pixie of course. He knew some other people there but they were already sitting with other people there and he didn't want to intrude or just sit there and being ignored. So it appeared as if the gods had been looking down on him and prevented him from having awkward moments.

So the writing of his mother's name took a while. For someone with a handwriting as sloppy as his, it definitely needed to take a while in order for it to look at least a bit decent. Examining it once again, he considered that they indeed looked good, maybe not as good as he wanted but at least it was readable. However readable Greek was of course. Pixie's words just made it all better. They were good. Nice, but then again, he needed Justin's approval for he was the one giving the lesson. Maybe he thought they were good too, who knew, maybe Daniel didn't suck at it that much.

Since he was finished, he decided to look around the room for a bit. There was Pixie with a frown on her face, then Cato and a girl he didn't know, then Charles but wait...hold on there. Pixie had a frown on her face? What on earth?! That was the first time he ever saw her like that. There had to be a reason for that. So he looked around the room again and his blue eyes fixed on two students that he had never noticed before: Pepper and Cody. Now that was it, no wonder why she was frowning. Honestly, Daniel couldn't have cared less about them but they messed with Pixie and that was not okay with him. Besides, for real, who needed to know about their useless comments? No one. For heaven's sake couldn't they just keep all that to themselves?Daniel was not one to get annoyed easily...but those comments were just...just...useless.

Justin Skyler - January 7, 2012 11:28 AM (GMT)
Justin smiled as everyone seemed to have a good time in class. He was happy with that, because.. who knew, studying could be fun right? If people were going to see it as a drag, it was also much harder to learn things. And that was not what was supposed to happen in this class. He wanted to make time at camp more fun for everyone. And by doing so he turned the class into a little party. He turned on some music, not the Greek alphabet this time, to create some ambiance in this Arena. Then he walked around the group to see how everyone was doing and smiled. His smile faded however when Cody decided to disrupt class once more with his annoying voice.

"Cody would you please keep your impertinent remarks to yourself. No one here is interested in any word you're saying and I'll assure you that no one is ever going to be interested in your words, so why bother trying to be the clown of class, when you don't even honour your own cabin."

He decided to ignore Pepper for the time being. Yes he noticed that once again Cody and Pepper were teaming up against him. But he was not going to be bothered by it for now, that wasn't going to help anyone. Turning away from him he looked at the works of the other demigods who were willing to finish this class with good behaviour. He looked at Noa's work and smiled. "Well done, you have a steady hand," he said and chuckled a bit. It was quite hard to write down the Greek alphabet, he knew it was. He had tried it himself when he was preparing this lesson. But he could do it, so he was sure the others could as well. Then he walked over to check on Daniel's work. "Great job, but your epsilon needs to be a little straighter though. With a little practice I'm sure you'll do fine!"

He walked over to the rest and saw that Charles did perfectly. "Have you studied Greek before, Charles? Well done!" he said. He walked back to wherever he stood at the beginning of the lesson and cleared his throat a bit. "So when you know how to write the name of your own Godly parent, the rest will be a little easier. For the next task I want you all to write the name of your favourite Greek God or Goddess. If that God or Goddess is the same as your godly parent, then that's good. You'll try and write that one again. If it's not, well, have fun writing." he smiled and watched the demigods writing. "Oh, and it's allowed to talk in this lesson, though keep the volume down a bit.

[OOC: same drill as with the other name! Have fun!

Caìtlynn Dreamcatcher - January 7, 2012 04:46 PM (GMT)
It was pretty obvious that the song Justin had picked for them to listen was just a simple "come into the mood" kind of thing. That other people didn't want to see this though, was noticed very soon after the song was finished. In Caìtlynn's eyes, or maybe ears, the song wasn't good or bad, it was a little annoying, but catchy. People just didn't like Justin a fault of theirs and not Justin.

Sighing a little after the comments of several people she was glad Justin didn't seem to afraid and managed to stick up for him self pretty good. Now, could they move on to their assignment?
It wasn't strange at all to be writing Greek or something, okay she had never done it before but she felt how she knew the symbols en their roman equivalent. It was a nice feeling.
Of course she was one of the people who had a Godly parent with a long name, children of Zeus and Ares were having a lucky one here.

When she had numbered the symbols on the table she had it was now very easy to copy them and make it look like a name, not like different symbols that were just coincidentally written in that particular order.
Writing down the first symbol she looked at it from different angels and had to admit it wasn’t bad. Well, it was just a normal A anyways. Now the second, the little pie symbol. She knew this one from math lesson so it was easy to write it down. It didn’t look very Greek to her though. Her third symbol was a little too long on one side but compared to the table it looked good enough.

It took her a few minutes to be completely satisfied with her writing but it had only been one try, they were having a complete lesson so there was still plenty of time.
Her favourite god? Who’s would that be? Apollo maybe, he was famous for music and poetry, she would have felt much better at home in his cabin than in Aphrodite’s even though she was cabin leader. Ahh, well Apollo would do fine.

After she had written down his name, a lot quicker than the previous one she tried Aphrodite again. This it looked much better! It was nice to be a demi-god without dyslexia.

Carter Maiden - January 13, 2012 01:57 PM (GMT)
Carter sighed, looking at Aphrodite's name. Long... practically unpronounceable... hard to write. At least her dyslexia wasn't too severe. Only when she was super upset. Other then that, it wasn't very hard to write, and especially not in Ancient Greek. She glanced over at Cait's paper. She'd picked Apollo as her favorite God. Cool. The fourteen year old knew who hers was. Hermes, of course. He was funny. And interesting. Hephaestus was always dirty, so that was out of the question.

Carter had to admit, she liked Greek much better then English. It was easier for her to read, not to mention write. Her handwriting wasn't exactly stellar, but she could deal with this. Much easier for her. And at least there wasn't fighting. That was horrible. All the blood. She shuddered. Blood was gross. It got all over everything.

Pepper Clancy - January 19, 2012 06:32 AM (GMT)
Pepper couldn’t have cared less about what others thought of her little remarks. It was a free country. She could say whatever she wanted and it wasn’t as if it would be the end of the world if someone disagreed with her. The girl was simply opinionated. Not to mention, she wasn’t happy in the slightest and hated work such as writing and studying languages. Plus, any chance to make Justin’s life a little harder was too tempting to pass up. Yet, he seemed to be ignoring her, the jerk. Either way, she’d continue to speak her mind if she wished. Though, she was starting to get a little bored with it since no one was having a very good reaction. Maybe she had might as well shut if no one was listening. Nothing was fun that way.

As the demigod groaned, staring at her paper, she realized she’d gone ahead and used all capitals. Whatever. They were easier than the lowercase and she was too lazy to go back and change the last three letters. Besides, it wasn’t as if they were worrying about that kind of picky stuff. Just the letters by themselves. But then Justin went ahead and gave them their next assignment. Now they needed to write down their favourite god? Feeling particularly lazy, Pepper simply went ahead to copy down exactly what she had written earlier. Ares was short and obviously he was her favourite god for being her father and the one of war. Honestly, she wasn’t stupid. She just didn’t understand most academic subjects, but that was also due to the fact she was incredibly lazy.

Planning on just sitting there in silence, contemplating folding her sheet into a paper airplane, Pepper then felt something hit the back of her head. Promptly reaching to run a hand through her long, strawberry blonde locks, the teen removed a small ball of paper. “What the hell...” Whipping around, her hazel eyes narrowed towards the most likely suspect. Cato. He was sitting at the right angle to aim at the back of her head. Plus there appeared to be a corner missing from his page. “Get lost, Cato!” she snapped, picking up her pen and then chucking it at the boy’s face. A tad violent? Perhaps, but she didn’t like getting messed with when she was so bored. On second thought... This would make the lesson somewhat more amusing and she wouldn’t mind that too much.

Daniel McAllen - January 20, 2012 04:14 AM (GMT)
Oh well, at least it wasn't as terrible as he had thought. The only letter he had to work on was epsilon. Cool, that meant that all the other ones were quite right. Daniel felt proud of his work. He did good, a lot better than he had thought. Besides, it was his first time writing in Greek so mistakes were acceptable and didn't really matter. Still, he wanted to do his best and try to not make too many mistakes. With a proud smile on his face, the fifteen year old stared down at his paper as he started doing some epsilons. He had to practice!

A few moments later Justin announced their next assignment. They were going to write the name of their favorite god, be it the same on or a different one. Awesome, more practice. Daniel didn't like the fact that he was stuck there, receiving classes but liked the fact that he was learning something new. It must have been the Athena side of him, eager to learn something new. So the boy started thinking which name to write. Hmmm. Ares? No. He was weird and had a terrible temper, kind of like his kids. Aphrodite?. Hell no, she gave weird powers to her girls. Dionysus? Yeah, he was cool, but could also make people go insane so no. Demeter? Too many plants and Daniel wasn't a fan of that. What on earth? He decided to just write the name of his mother again.

So once again he slowly started to write down the letters of the Greek alphabet, trying to make them have sense. It was easier now than the time before, and his letter wasn't as sloppy. It was messy of course, it always was, but it didn't look that bad. When he reached the epsilon, he made a stop. He had to write it well. So the fifteen year old wrote it as slow as he could. And tada! With all the other letter done, he was finished. Even the epsilon looked a lot better now.

Noa Burton - January 22, 2012 09:08 PM (GMT)
“At least we didn't get huge long names like Aphrodite or Hephaestus. Those would have been horrible..” Noa said and looked at her paper again before looking at Cato's with a smile. Okay, maybe his was a complete mess and hers wasn't, but that was alright. Practice made perfect right? And to Noa, Cato was already perfect in all other ways. He didn't need to be perfect at everything. That would just make her feel awkward and weird and nervous about messing up in front of him.

She slightly raised her eyebrows as Justin started ranting to Cody. Did he really just try to use a fancy word? Ugh. Whatever. Now he started talking about them writing her favourite God. Now was seriously considering writing down Cato, but he wasn't a God, was he now. She was tempted to just write Ares instead, but she refrained from doing so. It was kind of a difficult choice, wasn't it; deciding who to write down. She looked up to see Pepper throw a pen at Cato and instinctively she leaned away from him to avoid the pen hitting her instead. Even if she trusted Pepper's aim well enough.

So she settled for reaching out to nudge Cato again. “Hey..” she started and looked over at his paper. “Which one are you gonna write down?” Noa asked him with a smile. No, she wasn't planning on copying it and doing the same one as him, but she did secretly want to know whether he would choose Demeter or not. She really hoped he would, but she doubted it. Why would an Ares kid choose Demeter as his favourite God anyway? That would make no sense. Oh well.

Cato Armstrong - January 23, 2012 09:27 PM (GMT)
This stupid thing would never end, would it? Cato smiled at her comment, but it was clear he wasn’t happy. It was embarrassing being bad at this writing thing, just like it had been when he was in school. Heck, he was probably the worst in this stupid class. One thing was for certain, he couldn’t wait for the next fighting class. There was somewhere he would shine.

Cato was clearly distracted, focusing on anything than the task at hand. Instead, he glanced over to where Cody and Justin were talking. Whoa. This Justin kid had some guts to stick up to Cody. Cato was pretty sure nobody here but Pepper would actually try it, including himself. Cody wasn’t someone he wanted for an enemy. Although he clearly didn’t have any muscle (at least, compared to Cato) the kid was an evil mastermind. Not someone to mess with, in Cato’s opinion and a good person to have on your side. Whatever, Cato had no interest in this Justin kid anyways.

A huge smile filled the boys face as Pepper realized it was him who had thrown the paper ball. His instincts kicked in and his hands quickly went up, catching the pen. Imagine if he let it hit Noa. That would be bad. “Make me, Pepper.” He said, challenging her on with a mischievous smile on his lips.

With quite a bit of force, Cato whipped the pen back at Pepper.

He really didn’t have a doubt that whether Pepper caught it or not, it wouldn’t hurt her. His half-sister was the toughest girl he knew. Plus, this would make the lesson a bit more interesting, would it not? Already, Cato took one of his sheets of paper and crumpled it into a big paper ball, waiting to get a chance to whip it at his sisters head. Just for fun.

When Noa nudged him, his attention quickly shifted back to her. What was he supposed to write down again? Oh, crap. He wasn’t listening. Something about a god, right? This was stupid. “Uh...” Cato paused, trying to remember what Justin had even asked them to do. “I honestly wasn’t paying attention. What were we supposed to write again?” He got distracted easily, it wasn’t his fault.

And with his last words, Cato flung the paper ball at Pepper’s head before turning back to Noa.

Justin Skyler - January 24, 2012 12:21 PM (GMT)
Yes Justin saw what was going on in class, but he decided not to pay great attention to it. It was a class after all, no matter how he tried to avoid it, there were always people goofing around with each other. And it wasn't even a real real class as in a class they get at school. So he wasn't going to say anything at all. He just hoped everyone else was having a good time. He was just trying to show them all that studying and learning stuff could be fun. It wasn't that hard to understand and Justin made sure everyone understood something before moving on to the next thing.

"Is everyone done with writing their favourite god or goddess's name?" he asked, looking around briefly. He wasn't going to check their writing. "I want you to check each other's writing. The best way to learn is to learn from each other, at least I think so. So since you're all sitting all together, I want you to hand your paper to the person left from you. That way everyone will have a different piece of paper. Make sure you don't be the one left over!" he said and smiled. He didn't know if he was doing a good job in teaching them about the Greek alphabet. But he surely enjoyed himself, apart from that one misfit from the Demeter cabin. He took away all the fun, maybe he was just in a complex fight with himself or anything. Or maybe he was just going insane from the constant smell of plants in his cabin. Who knew.

Justin smiled again and looked around in the group. He didn't want to say that class was almost over, because it was just hilarious and fun to teach them about these things, but yet he had to accept the fact that these things couldn't go on forever. He sighed and looked around at everybody. "If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.."

Caìtlynn Dreamcatcher - January 26, 2012 12:54 PM (GMT)
While Caìtlynn kept on writing down the names of her Gods she payed no attention to the people around her. She had no idea who was sitting next to her and she had vaguely heard someone insulting Justin but she really didn't want to hear anything of that. She couldn't make him stop saying bad things to him and she would only feel bad for not standing up for him so she just isolated her herself like only she could during a lesson and didn't hear a thing around her anymore.
If she hadn't done this she had also heard Charles talk to her but she had no idea he even was at the lesson. If she had heard him she would surely talk to him.

With the paper on her lap and the cupcake finally all the way down to her belly she was starting to realise Justin was probably giving them a new assignment. When she looked up from her Greek scribes she half left her concentration mode and looked up at Justin, only focusing on him. Check each others writing? Who would she check then? The names on her paper were getting better and better but it still was a bit strange to look at them. Her handwriting was quite elegant but some Greek symbols just looked strange that way.

Caìtlynn turned around and looked who could swap with her. Now she spotted Charles a few cushions away and she shot him a smile and waved her fingers at him not wanting to draw to much attention to herself. She also saw Carter close to her but the one she thought was best to swap papers with was a boy with dark curls (Daniel) she didn't know the name of. Tapping him on the shoulder she smiled broadly at him not wanting to seem nervous. She was Aphrodite after all. "Hey, do you want to swap papers?" she asked him innocently. It was an open question, he could easily say no if he didn't want to.

Charles Bell - January 26, 2012 01:45 PM (GMT)

Okay Charlie wasn't paying attention any more. He sighed. Caìtlynn had totally ignored him and he felt sad because of it. Caìtlynn was his best friend here and even though she had been gone for a while and then came back. He had missed her so bad and now she was back and was almost glued to Matthew. Then he rethought it Caìtlynn wasn't like that and she probably didn't hear him. But still he really needed to find himself a best friend, Ethan probably.

He had written down every god in Greek without looking on his paper. This was way too easy. Charles was sipping on his tea, he really loved it. He stared at the class. Really he didn't know what to think. Even though they where all demi-gods this people seemed more normal then the people that visit his grandma often. They where all so stiff and Charlie didn't like that.

Justin told them they had to check any one else their papers. Caìtlynn was the first one in his mind but he saw that she walked over towards Daniel and asked him. He shrugged maybe Pixie since Daniel might not say no. He walked over to her and smiled his charming way. "Hey Pixie, do you mind swapping papers?" It wouldn't be hard for him but he had written down all the names of the gods so he really hoped he wouldn't scare her.

Noa Burton - January 27, 2012 07:45 PM (GMT)
Uhh no, Noa wasn't done writing her favourite God yet. Cato was being far too amusing by throwing things at Pepper. Sure, she liked Pepper and she was sort of her friend. Sort of being the keyword, but Noa sometimes missed being able to throw paper and pens at your siblings. She definitely couldn't throw things at Cody's head and the other kids were far too new to even consider something like that. Far too new. And one of them was too young, too. They had this new kid and she was like nine. Poor little girl, being stuck at camp so young. That had to be horrible.

As Justin was talking, his voice just started to annoy her. He was using fancy words at Cody and a lot of useless blah about the same. Why was he in Athena again? Wouldn't he fit better in like.. Aphrodite? She looked up at him. Nuh, he had fish lips. Aphrodite surely wouldn't cut it either. She guessed Demeter would have been a good option for him. They had all the average kids anyway. Well, except maybe Cody. But not everyone fitted in their cabins as well as one might have thought. One of the new kids, from Aphrodite, apparently she was a smart one. Or something. Like Noa cared.

No, she was going back to focusing on Cato. "We were supposed to write down our favourite God.. But I really don't know which I should write.. I don't know that much about them yet, anyway.." Noa explained with a shrug. "And apparently we should be getting to comparing it as well.." she said and held up her hand. "Come on, we'll just check eachother's parents." she offered with a smile.

Cato Armstrong - January 28, 2012 05:07 PM (GMT)
Yet again, Justin’s voice slipped in one ear and straight out the other. Whatever, it wasn’t like Cato ever had interest in talking to this guy again. Well, he didn’t have much of an interest in talking to most of the people at camp. Cato was too busy drumming his fingers against the desk to notice what the blonde was saying. But, he did hear Noa as she told him what to do.

Oh, write... again? Cato wasn’t writing down another stupid name. One, he really didn’t know what other god was his favourite (although he could rule Aphrodite out) and two, he had already wrote his father’s name. That had been enough work as it was. Learning how to write the names of the gods in Greek wasn’t ever going to be important to him anyways. It was never something he would need to know. Heck, he had enough trouble writing them in English. The only ones he could spell properly were the short ones, like Hades, Zeus and Ares.

Luckily, Noa saved him from having to write anything more down. Sighing in relief, Cato reached up and grabbed his paper and then pushed it in front of Noa. “Yeah, that’d be easier.”

Like he even cared if it was right anyways.

It was going to be wrong no matter what. Just looking at it made him feel bad about himself. What he had written could say anything. It just looked like scribbles on a page to him. Looking over at Noa’s page and not even glancing at the chart of Greek letters, he mumbled. “Yours looks perfect.” There, he was done checking right? Honestly, he couldn’t tell if it was right or not, but it looked fine. It wasn’t like he was good at this stuff.

Thank the gods this class was almost over. “You wanna go down to the lake after this?” Cato asked, turning to face Noa. They were going to hang out for a bit after this, right?

Pepper Clancy - January 29, 2012 03:13 AM (GMT)
“Gladly,” Pepper growled in response to Cato’s challenging remark. Glowering at her sibling, she clenched her fists tightly in the same way that she often would when simply furious or even occasionally embarrassed. How she wanted to just go over and clock him one. Honestly, what annoyed her even more was that her idiotic brother had managed to catch the pen before it hit his face. Oh how she wished he was completely uncoordinated. She didn’t like that smirking expression of his either. The only thing was, while ruining Justin’s lesson with a bit of roughhousing would be fun, she didn’t want to have to deal with Mr. D. It wasn’t that she was intimidated by the god or anything, but it just wouldn’t be worth the trouble. So Pepper figured she’d properly get Cato back later.

When the pen was tossed back towards her, the demigod reacted very quickly and her hand shot up to snatch the writing utensil out of the air. Gritting her teeth, she held it tightly in her hand, waiting for his attention to shift elsewhere. As Cato moved to talk with Noa, she smirked mischievously and took this moment to hurl the pen back at his face once again. This time it had to hit, she was sure of it! There was no way he could react speedily enough since she had waited for the right time. She was tense and on edge enough as it was. Failing again wasn’t going to make her feel any better. Pepper disliked her brother lots already. Didn’t he know it was dangerous to make her mad? Even if she was finding this slightly entertaining, she wasn’t completely enjoying it.

Though, she had turned away in an attempt to cool off and ignore Cato. Somehow, she didn’t want to get too riled up. But clearly he wasn’t done. Feeling something else get lobbed at the back of her head, she swore and promptly turned around and glared angrily at him. “You’d better watch your back later, Cato,” she said warningly, her voice mocking in a sweet tone and a sarcastic smile topped it all off. Her blood boiling, she turned back around, glancing over at Cody with a frown. Without any hesitation, she roughly snatched the boy’s paper up and handed him her own. She didn’t even bother asking if he wanted to switch. If he didn’t, well, Pepper couldn’t have cared less. “Of course yours is perfect...” she grumbled with a sigh after examining Cody’s writing.

Holding it out towards him to take back, she didn’t even want to hear what he had to say about hers. She wasn’t the neatest writing nor had she put much effort into it. But she had still used the correct Greek letters. Right now, she didn't give a damn about anything to do with the lesson.

Noa Burton - January 29, 2012 01:46 PM (GMT)
Noa smiled at Cato as he 'checked' her writing. It was far from perfect. Sure she knew the right letters and her handwriting was alright, but they were really only four letters to memorize. "thanks.." she said and could feel a blush creep up on her face. She leaned over with his paper which was.. less than perfect.. "Okay so.. Let me explain this.." Noa said and moved so she was sitting almost in front of him when suddenly a pen hit her cheek. Well, okay, so maybe she had moved in front of Cato at exactly the wrong time. "The hell, Pepper.." she said and shot her an angry look. Even if the pen had been aimed at Cato, it still hurt and she grabbed it quickly before Cato could decide to throw it back at the redhead.

"Alright.. Lake after.." Noa said with a smile and a hand moved up to rub her cheek. That was going to leave a red mark for a couple of hours for sure. "Now, you used the right letters.. Your handwriting is just rubbish.." Noa said with a soft giggle. She took the pen, which had just hit her, and started writing Ares under his. "See, same letters, neater handwriting." Noa told him. "It's really quite easy, you should just write slowly.." Noa told him with a big smile. She had already forgotten about the pen against her cheek. Even if it still kind of hurt.

Cato Armstrong - January 29, 2012 11:54 PM (GMT)
The sight of Pepper’s fist clenching and the look on her face made Cato quit happy with himself. It was his job to annoy his sister, right? Well, that’s how he saw it. He didn’t really seek out to annoy his other sisters, ‘cause Pepper seemed like she would be the most fun to annoy. She was so psycho, it was great. But Cato knew he couldn’t go too far, or Pepper may set his bed on fire while he was sleeping with that lighter of hers and nobody would be surprised she was the one that did it.

She was totally and completely crazy.

Cato went to turn back to Noa and listen to her tell him what he did wrong (although she would probably be really nice about it because she was always super nice and understanding and cute... and hot and amazing and absolutely perfect). But before getting a chance to listen to her explain, he saw the pen coming towards him from the corner of his eyes. He had noticed it too late, so he didn’t have time to catch it, but he did duck out of the way a bit...

Accidently letting it hit Noa in the face.

Smooth one, Cato.

A look of disbelieve flashed across his face. “Oh, crap.” He was an idiot. He just let a pen hit his future girlfriend Noa. He was stupid. Quickly, disbelieve flashed to anger as he looked over at his sister. If the pen at hit him it wouldn’t have been a big deal, but it was not okay that Pepper hit his girl. “Oi, get out of here, Pepper! Hitting me is alright, but hitting my girl isn't okay. Apologize. Now.” Cato didn’t really realize he had said Noa was his girl. But he would give Pepper a chance to say sorry before he truly got angry with his sister. Even though it was an accident, Cato would always be over protective of Noa.

When Pepper said to watch his back, Cato just rolled his eyes. He would be surprised it Pepper didn’t try to get even. Really, he was hoping she did, as long as the two didn’t go at it around Noa. Wouldn’t want Pepper accidently hitting her again, ‘cause clearly her rage got the best of her. “Noa, you okay?” Cato asked, reaching up to touch her cheek and make sure she was okay. “I’m sorry I didn’t catch it... I didn’t think it would... I mean... Yeah, sorry.” He was so stupid. He was the worst person ever. It was totally his fault for ducking out of the way, as much as he wanted to blame it on Pepper. At least, that was the way Cato saw it.

Cato reached for the pen, but Noa took it away. Apparently his and Pepper’s ‘fun’ was over for this class, but he was fully expecting her to find him later so they could have some real fun. You know... after he stopped being angry, of course. “Meet me later, Sister.” His tone was clearly challenging her on.

Apparently Noa wasn’t one to complain much since she was already getting back to what she was doing before she got hit. He should just write slowly? Even if he did write slowly, it still looked like scribbles. “I’m just not good at this, but whatever, not like I’ll ever need to write.”

Pepper Clancy - January 30, 2012 12:33 AM (GMT)
Blinking in surprise as Noa moved in front of Cato when she had let the pen fly towards him, Pepper wondered what had just happened. That was supposed to hit her brother, not the girl! Unable to help herself, her glower turned on Noa for ruining her chance to get Cato back for chucking all those paper balls at her. Yes, the daughter of Ares understood why she was being given such an angry look. But it wasn’t her fault! If Noa had stayed in her seat, then she wouldn’t have got hit. What an idiot... “What’s your problem?” she scoffed, crossing her arms in a stubborn fashion. If anyone was to blame, it was Noa and Cato both. The former hadn’t paid attention to what was going on between the two siblings. The latter was just an idiot for even bothering trying to dodge.

Hazel eyed gaze shifting back to her brother when he spoke up again, a smirk spread itself across Pepper’s lips. While she thought he was being unjustly mad with her, his reaction to Noa being hit was far too amusing. Although, the wording he used when describing the girl was priceless. “Nah, I don’t feel like apologizing when it’s not my fault,” she retorted with a shrug. “Sorry about your little girlfriend though, lover boy. Why don’t you just kiss it better and continue on with the lesson? It’s just a small boo-boo. I’m sure your girl has had worse injuries, right Noa?” she taunted, far too entertained with this situation, but rage was still building up inside of her. Even though she often wasn’t the smartest and could be oblivious to certain things, the relationships between teenagers was something she was slowly coming to understand a bit better.

Rolling her eyes, she couldn’t believe Cato was freaking out over such a small thing. Worse things could have happened. She could have thrown a dagger or something as sharp as that. A pen was nothing in comparison. “Sure thing, little brother,” she then replied, continuing to smirk as he challenged her. Glancing over at Cody, she wondered why on earth he hadn’t stepped in to stop her like he normally did. Perhaps he was just as amused as she was? Hopefully.

Charles Bell - January 30, 2012 06:50 PM (GMT)
At this moment Charles didn't feel like staying in this class. He didn't even paid attention to what others where doing. Charlie walked over towards Justin. "Hey, sorry. Do you mind me leaving." He showed his paper with all the Gods on it.
"I haven't checked it but I know they are correct, maybe you could do it for me I think it will me torture if any one except Caìtlynn would have to see if they are correct" Charles his handwriting was perfect but since he was writing without thinking and concentrating it would look rather wobbly.

He could be somewhere else instead of here. Not because of Justin or any one else he was just bored. Charlie never used to be bored he always had something to do but he didn't feel like making another essay about any Greek town in Greece. He knew that he lately bragged a bit about his knowledge but he couldn't help it.

Charlie walked over to Caìtlynn who was standing with Daniel. "Hello Caìt" He said with the most British accent you had ever heard. "Mind spending some time with me?" He had really missed her. "I actually can say that I missed you" He smiled at his best friend.

Caìtlynn Dreamcatcher - January 30, 2012 07:26 PM (GMT)
Before Caìtlynn got a reaction from Daniel she heard the voice of Charles behind her, something she hadn't thought would happen today. When she had been at Charles all those months ago she really thought that they were friends but when she got back at camp with Matthew Caìtlynn had had the feeling Charles didn't like her anymore because he didn't like Matthew. She didn't know if he really thought like that but the truth was, Caìtlynn was afraid of a rejection. She didn't want to hear Charles say that he didn't want to talk to her anymore. She had been away from camp so long that she didn't know if they were friends anymore.

But when she heard his voice behind her she quickly turned around, trailing her hair behind her as she did so. Looking up to his face she smiled a bit insecure but still happy to see him. She had no reason not to like him, he hadn't done anything. "Hi Charles," she said in her clear voice which started to sound more like her old accent now she was spending so much time with Matthew who was British, and since she had been at home for so long. She loved the fact that he just said Caìt, instead of Caìtlynn that everyone else said. She didn't mind that they did, she loved her name; but that Charles still said Caìt after all that time was a good thing. Maybe he still wanted her as a friend.

"You do?" when he spoke again Caìtlynn's mouth opened, a little bit surprised that he said it so calmly and honest. He missed her? That was so good to hear! She hadn't lost him as a friend!
The fact that she heard this from himself after thinking so long she had lost him the moment she had gotten Matthew was such a relief to her that tears welled up from her eyes. They didn't fall down though, she wiped them away quickly while she smiled softly. "I've missed you too,"
