this is a great anime/manga based in the time of the meiji restoration in japan
it is about the assassin Hitokiri Battōsai and many revolts against the Japanese government usualy due to the sword banning act.
this anime/manga is more realistic than most and my favorite character is Sagara Sanosuke he is awesome.
if you havent seen it watch an episode or read a manga online.

I used to watch this Anime, and only really started to like it after watching Samurai X, it's bloody and good and is why I like Kenshin. I don't really like the anime as much as the movie, but that's probably because I'm a die hard fan of blood and death in an anime. So yeah, Kenshin he was cool and then he stopped killing stuff

yea kenshin is really annoying when he stops the rebelion.
like he could be totaly awesome but they make him annoying
i havent seen samurai x but i will have to watch it.
