Well, this seems as good a place as any. I know I'm probably more of a political fanatic and Ron Paul supporter than anyone here, but I'm putting this out there anyway:
I've signed up to be a precinct leader and my goal is to get as many people in Johnstown to vote for Ron Paul on March 4 (Ohio's primary) as possible. To start with there's about 1000 registered voters in town (as in not out in the country, just in town) and since it's pretty much too late to register new voters (it'd have to be done by tomorrow) I'm focusing on calling and canvassing those 1000 who are registered. Alone it's really hard.
If anybody else would be interested, I have all the information as well as scripts to follow when calling or in the next week or two I'll be getting supplies in and will begin walking door to door, trying to get votes and even recruit more people who would like to help with the campaign. I'd be supplying everything if you could help with that, including what you should talk to them about. The only thing this really costs is time. But it also has the largest impact on voter turnout (certainly more than a sign or advertisement).
It is my firm belief that Ron Paul is who America needs and I'm going to do everything I can to get him elected. This is your chance to help have a huge impact on the political process, certainly more than your vote alone can do.
