Article 1: Accepting the TOS
By registering, you are not only accepting the InvisionFree TOS, but the Centura Gate TOS also. If you do not accept them, you can't register, therefore you can't use our services. Simple as that. Centura Gate reserves the right to change the Terms Of Service at any time. If you have any further questions, PM a member of staff.

Article 2: Prohibited Content
On Centura Gate, we're fairly lenient on what you can and can't post. However, the posting of advertisements in the wrong places [see Advertising], pornography, links to pornography, personal details that the person in question has not consented to giving, cracks and serial numbers, links to cracks and serial numbers, or any illegal activities, viruses, trojans, links to viruses and trojans, rips [see Ripping], spam [see Spamming] and flames [see Flaming]. You may only use somebody's real name if they consent to you actually using it.>

Article 3: Advertising
Advertising on here is strictly prohibited, except in your signature, as long as your signature fits within the set size [see Signature Sizes], or, you post in Forum Share, which requires 8 posts before you are allowed posting.

Article 4: Spamming
Spamming is one of the biggest no nos on Centura Gate. Spamming will not be tolerated, at all. Spamming can be defined as useless posts, one word posts, posts that have nothing to do with the topic, and multiple posts. To avoid multiple posts, please use the edit feature.

Article 5: Flaming
Flaming is also another big no no. Flaming is insulting another member without justification or concern for the other person's feelings.

Article 6: Bumping
Bumping is an annoyance to everyone. Nobody wants to have a topic from months ago bumped to the top of the topics list. Therefore, there is a rule that you cannot post in a topic that has not had a new reply in over 25 days. The only exception to this rule is in a pinned thread.

Article 7: Forum Exclusive Rules
Any rules that are specific to a forum are in pinned threads of their respective forums. They are to be obeyed in conjunction with the terms of service.

Article 8: Ripping
Ripping is defined as claiming someone else's work as your own, or editing someone else's work without first acquiring permission. Nobody wants their work stolen, so don't do it.

Section 2: Your Account

Article 1: Personal Message Content
Any of the articles on Topic Content are still applicable here. If someone sends you message violating any of those articles, forward it to a member of staff who will have it sorted out. In some cases, they may even lose use of the PM System.

Article 2: Signature Sizes
Signatures must not exceed the width of the board, or be any higher than 250 pixels. Ideally, your signature should be as small as possible. All these sizes include images as well as text. The recommended highest signature size is 500x200 pixels. If a Member with a lower resolution has difficulty browsing the forums because your signature is bigger than the recommended size, Centura Gate reserves the right to ask you to resize your signature. You may refuse of course. But we're being polite, it's only fair you should be polite too. If the staff still feels it necessary, they will then edit your signature for you. Please Note that sizes are inclusive of text.

Article 3: Multiple Accounts
Multiple accounts are not allowed on Centura Gate. If you have more than one account, you will be asked to pick one and an administrator will delete the other for you

Section 3: Punishments

Article 1: Warning System Procedure
If you are caught breaking the TOS, you will first be given a verbal warning, and then your warn level will be raised to 25%. In some cases, you will not get a Verbal warning and will go straight to the 25% Warn, depending on the severity of your actions. Your warn level will be raised by 25% for each further offense, and once you reach 100% your account will be banned.

Article 2: Bypassing a Ban
If you're found to be bypassing a ban (or a suspension, for that matter), you will be IP banned. The use of proxies to bypass a ban are strictly prohibited.

Article 3: Mod Queues, Posting Right Removals and Suspensions
These are applied at the discretion of the member of staff warning you, depending on the severity of your actions. In most cases, you will just receive a 2-5 day Mod Queue.

Article 4: Reporting to a Member of Staff
If you find someone to be breaking the TOS, simply PM a member of staff with links to where they've broken the TOS instead of an unnecessary useless post.
