If you didn't already know, there are new FAQ's for these armies up.

Some of the rules have changed and got nasty.

Here's some of my favourite changes:-
Ogres -
All wizards CAN have magic armour. plus a great weapon option for slaughtermaster.

If you take the greedy fist item and a have a ranged attack and hit a wizard with it they can lose a level, just like hitting them in combat. Very nasty especially if you go slaughtermaster and lore of death.

All the chariots with ogres plus the ice ball thrower are warmachines, so Ironcurse Icon works against them. Very handy for my Zombie Dragon.

Skaven -
If you want and can fit them in, you can take 2 Vermin Lords!, with the same weapon.

Poison wind globadiers can throw into combat if they like, still have to randomise though.

Skaven lose the strength in numbers rule if flanked and disrupted.

Tomb kings:-
The only one i find funny is:-
If a character on a chariot dies and the chariot survives, it can ride around regardless abit like the pope mobile.

Also a colossus CANNOT mutiple shot its bow, with the Ptra's smiting spell.

Enjoy.

James

My personal favourite "Do Nehekharan Undead count as Undead?"

There must be some pretty moronic rules lawyers out there for this FAQ to be needed!

I thought that question was very amusing, some players cannot be that thick can they.

Some very interesting changes GW have come up with.

My favourites are no hold your ground rule for those bsb's who hide at the back of their units, bad luck for Skaven players.

Very interesting for Tomb King, Daemon and Vampire players, as opponents cannot overrun from unstable crumble from combat resolution. This makes swarms, scorpions, small light cavalry, quite interesting to use and probably better.

But my favourite change is that monster cavalry/beast has 2 new rule changes. The toughness and wounds are taken at the highest number. So for my wood elves are improved a noble on either a Great Stag or Eagle has 3 wound rather than 2 which we aready knew but now my weak elf is toughness 4 which is very cool.

Overall im liking their rule changes and makes some unpopular unit choices such as the undead swarms again a bit more of a good choice.

Have you read the ETBtS new rule?
Must be one of the best FAQs for Tomb Kings

Also the unstable rule is better, no over run on charge after unstable wounds taken

Forgot about that rule for tomb kings john, cannot wait to test out the new tomb kings faq rules on saturday with my first outing of my construct list. Always fun battering high elves.

I did on warseer see something really cheeky and down right skaveny, a skaven warlord on bonebreaker is now toughness 5 because of the monstrous beast/cavalry new rule.
