I have spent this week watching various different bands, singers.

My opinions,

Wurzles- Good Atmosphere, but it has to be said these guys need to hang up the dungarees and face the small fact they are way to old to be realeseing a new album.

The most annoying part of the performance was they did not sing there most familiar song, 'Combine Harvester', but we was fortunate to hear 'i am a cider drinker' which was a much loved delight by the whole of Walkabout.

Kanye West - A simply amazing performance, i was really amazed at the good vibe that was flowing through the crowd i have been to many gigs and people were just all out for a good night, didn't meet one tosser.

The music which is what we all go to see was again incredible he knows how to put on a good show. The drummer was my highlight of the night the sheer energy he needed to burst out the 2 minute solo simply crazy.
My favorite songs of the evening had to be 'Good Morning' 'Good Life' 'Hey Mama' (which he sung under a silhouetted spotlight)

The set design and lighting was also just as amazing as the performance it self, made for an extra special evening.

Mika - Another Great performance, i can deffentley see why people have put this guy in the same catergory as Freddie Mercuray granted he aint quite got the same reputation yet, but the guy himself is a born entertainer he jumps and dances around that stage like he is alive on some crazy ass drug, my highlight of the performance had to be the very impressive instrumentel where the bass guitarist switched to electric guitar the bass guitarist switched to the drums, the drumer switched to singing and mika who crashed against some bins which sounded brilliant too.

All in all a brilliant week so far, more to come next week when i go watch UB40, and the week after when i watch MADNESS!!!

If any of you watched any of the mentioned gigs let us know what you thought

The performance from Kanye and his band was simply immense. The only thing that let the show down was Pavilions, horrid sound system and terrible organisation.

Common was amazing as a support/warm up act too. 'The Light' what a tune cool.gif
