Storyline: Alexander Kupel was born to what was once known as the illustrious Kupel family, within the magically-hidden moogle paradise of Kuporia. His childhood was a joyous one, despite the fact that Alex's unique behavior earned him few friends. This was mostly due to his older brother, who he looked up to, and his older sister, who nurtured him emotionally, moreso than his parents did.

Kuporia is, to the moogles, a true paradise. Protected from outside invasions by magical means, and protected from interior discord by rules (that any moogle in Kuporia would admit are at least somewhat strict). While peace is believed to be within the moogles of Kuporia, any human could tell you that maintaining such peace couldn't be as easy as the moogles make it seem. Such a human would be right, however. While the public government maintains the illusion of peace, secret agencies within the government create, maintain, and enforce the rules that truly govern Kuporia.

Alex was living in Kuporia when his older brother, Jax, was exiled. Jax feel in love with two moogle girls at different times. He could never choose between the two, and for a long time, they never found out about each other. When they did, however, neither wanted to give Jax up, and when the three started dating in public, alarms were secretly raised that led to both Jax and his two girlfriends to permanent exile. Alex was hurt by his brother's 'odd dissapearance', but he and his sister, Clara, pulled each other through it.

Soon after, the Kuporian government allowed a human wizard and his motley crew into Kuporia, because the human had convinced the government that he was a travelling mage that worked in the 'entertainment industry'. For several months, the wizard and his crew entertained the Kuporian moogles with his circus-like setup. When the group left, it was believed that Alex had vanished somehow. This was a lie. The group had stolen Alex away and, for the space of a few years, used him as a test subject for the wizard's magical experiments. This is what turned Alex's eyes from deep blue to icy purple, it is also the source of his great magical strength. During the final test, in which a succubus was used to test the fullest extent of the previous experiments, Alex broke out and returned, almost completely worn out, to Kuporia. He never speaks of that experiment, but it is the source of his hatred for succubi and all lust demons.

Upon Alex's return, he has to hear about how his sister, the best friend he ever had, fell in love with another girl and was exiled for it. That loss, coupled with his experiences with the wizard's group, led Alex to see in his own way the true nature of what was once his beloved homeland. He soon left Kuporia of his own will and never looked back. He was rumored to be exiled, but noone within the so-called 'paradise' never found out why.

Alex makes his living as a mercenary. For the right payment, he will kill whoever and however many you want. He has some morals, and there are some jobs he won't take, but generally, he's an exterminator-for-hire. His magical abilities include a bouncing fireball, creating black crystals that steal life, and turning himself into a 6' tall mountain of muscle (his dagger morphs with him, becoming as great-sword as tall as he is in that state).
