Well, here's where I stand.
While it is my name, Chris is a bit generic for an internet username and I'd really like to use something else. However, I don't really know what else to choose. On most forums, I'm Zero the Hunter, aka ZtH. That's fine and all, but can you say generic? Not to mention the fact that I'm kind of sick of it. On a very select few forums, meaning two, I use the name Gold Torizo (After the Super Metroid boss), however I'm not sure how exactly that stacks. It's not a very common thing, in fact even using google I can't find anyone else who goes by that. So basically, I'd like opinions on which to use. Should I stick with Chris, or go for the Gold? Perhaps something else entirely? |

Chris is your actual name, right? Well, unless your new name sticks to the rule "simplicity is beauty" and has a kick-ass ring to it, I'm gonna call you Chris.
.... Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I think you should avoid a name with gold in it, 'cause calling somebody "Gold" for short seems... bland to me. Torizo's not too bad, though. |

I think changing your name according to the atmosphere is great. I should've called myself Ridley now that I think about it...

Well, you used two forums (as you've said, and i should know) with that new username, Chris.
So, if you feel good with the name "Gold Torizo", then by all means go for it, man. Of course, however, it's up to you to decide if you want to stuck yourself with that name in here or not. I could've changed mine also (to Kraid), but i've been using my original username for a long time since and i don't plan on changing it. As for the google thing, i've use it and there's a couple of Shnoogums references, but most of them directs towards yours truly. @Moku-Sama: Well, if you don't want to call him Gold, then you could still call him GT if you want. |

Yeah, my actual name is Chris. I honestly don't mind much which one people call me, either way it's me. XD If I did go for Gold Torizo, I definately wouldn't want people just calling me "Gold". It'd be "Gold Torizo", ""Torizo", and "GT". That's how it works other places, anyways. Actually, I was just going to do "Torizo" at first but that seemed a little plain and lonely. I'm not used to one-word names. XD |

Gold Torizo/Torizo would make a great username for you. Except if you go for the gold, I prolly wouldn't call you 'GT' because that'll make me think of Dragon Ball, lol.

I say Chris. It may seem generic, but I find I lot of people who use their real names (such as Tim or John at TMMN) are more recognizable than those who have some random name.

Yeah, that's true too. Except that I know like four or five other Chris' on the net... There's a lot to take into consideration here... |

For some reason, half of the places your name shows up at still say Chris, though the other half call you Torizo. What the heck is going on?

I think it's lag related to your internet cache, it doesn't know on one certain page it's supposed to be different. ctrl+F5 should fix that.

So, you're going with Chris then? Because that wouldn't be bad at all. It's a good name, and like TC said, it's cool sometimes to go by your first name on the net, especially since you're the admin around here.
