For everything not covered by the other topics, here's what you should know or might be wondering.

The main races are humans & "mixes." Mixes are human-animal hybrids which resulted from the early stages of genetic engineering. Mixes are classified by the animal they're mixed with. They resemble humans but have some animal features, such as ears and tails.

Besides humans and mixes there are ghosts. Sometimes called spirits or lost souls, ghosts go by many names and not everyone believes in them. The majority of "believers" are Scarlet Rose residents, making it difficult to take the subject serious. Those who do believe claim ghosts are usually translucent but otherwise appear completely normal. They can walk through walls, disappear at will, and even move objects. Still, the general public is doubtful, and ghosts are not recognized beyond the occult community. (*Note: Believers are able to see and hear ghosts. Nonbelievers are oblivious to them. They typically cannot hear or see ghosts. There are the occasional exceptions, but they are rare.)


The year is 2050 and technology is thriving. Genetic engineering is leading the way in industries. Prototype artificial limbs are especially popular. The material of choice is light but durable metals. There is no skin covering at the time, but one is being developed. They're also painful to install and require regular maintenance.


Revuenex: Hot summers, cool falls, freezing winters, and cool springs describe Revuenex in a nutshell. Fall and spring see the most rain with at least one major thunderstorm per season. Winter brings several inches of snow and the occasional blizzard every few years.


Revuenex is located in a small, peaceful country called Amoria. Most of the population is in the city itself.
