birth date: November 12

so, you got a pretty face?

model claim: Nicholas Lemons

hair color: varies from light to dark brown

eye color: Blue

height: 6'1 1/2" (he swears he's 6'2")

weight: 176 pounds

scars and blemishes?
Some random ones on his face, and a few faded scars around his body (mostly shins and knees) from when he was a little kid tripping and falling everywhere. Hardly gets acne because he is so uptight about cleanliness, but gets it on occasion when he is stressed out.

other distinguishing marks:
Has several tattoos on the right side of his body, mainly consisting of a blue Chinese-style dragon snaking around his right arm with the Chinese symbol for "dragon" on his tricep area. Also, on the right side of his chest, there is a purplish mask of some sort.

skin tone: Almost bronze

Overall appearance:

Lucas has short, brown hair that he likes to mold into different styles with gel, but for the most part, he spikes it. It's one of the only parts about him that he doesn't mind having in disarray on purpose. He was born with dark brown hair, but if he is exposed to a lot of sun for a period of time, it turns light brown, and then turns back if he doesn't. So usually, when school is in session, his hair is darker than it is during long breaks and the summertime. He isn't fond of the swishy hair that so many of his peers have because it would most likely give him severe acne in the forehead region, and he just thinks it would look fruity on him. He does not like shaving all that much, so there is often short stubble inhabiting the lower part of his face. He likes his stubble, anyway; it makes him look older. His blue eyes sometimes look dark gray, while at other times looks almost blue-green. He has no idea why his eye color changes, but he knows for sure that he is not a Metamorphagus.

His brow line is slightly crooked, making him look dim-witted despite his actual intelligence. A straight face for him borders on that of a look of confusion and a look of inquisitiveness, and he hopes it is the latter. His natural eyebrows are not too thick or too thin, and do the same things as his hair, changing in shade from time to time. Lucas also has a reasonably strong, muscular build that he has worked very hard on throughout his school years. Quidditch alone couldn't sculpt this body (nor that tan of his). He has a decent sense of style, and his clothes are ironed/starched/polished any chance he can get. His attire plainly screams military perfection. If he gets stains on his clothes, he goes absolutely mental trying to get them out, and most of the time he's successful in doing so. If he can't get the stain obliterated, he throws out the whole piece of clothing; because he's done that for most of his life, it's proven very costly. However, good has come out of it, because he's learned useful spells to aid him in his cleaning rampages.

i wish i knew you.

Hobbies/ Quirks:
He likes to play Quidditch and even some Muggle sports now and then. Lucas is mildly obsessive-compulsive, but it doesn't detract that much from what he can do. His obsessive-compulsiveness consists of him counting his steps everywhere he goes; he counts the seconds, minutes, and hours that go by and things of the like with superb accuracy, like a human organizer. The strange thing is that most of this counting is sub-conscious, and he can't help it. He also gets annoyed when something is not right or out of place, and does not hesitate to fix it and/or straighten it.

personality summary:

Slytherins really are given a bad reputation. Sure, there are the "bad apples" out there who overwhelm this house, but Lucas doesn't classify himself as amongst those kind of people. It was either Slytherin or Ravenclaw (due to his smarts), and he supposes he was put in Slytherin because of his stony demeanor. He has the basic feelings of happy, sad, and angry, but as for things such as "love" and "hate," he just has never felt for anyone, except for close members of his family. He dislikes people showing affection towards him because he hardly ever knows how to react, and he gets uncomfortable when people touch him (besides your average handshake, of course). As for sensitivity? Lucas hasn't cried since he was eleven, when his grandmother died. After her death, he became unusually apathetic about most social situations for the longest time. Unlike most his age, he keeps his temper under control, never having had outbursts at anyone outside his family as of yet.

His obsessive-compulsive nature makes him an oddity. He doesn't tell people, but they could probably already guess that he was a neat freak. The numbers, however, are a different story. He tries to incorporate everything he does with numbers, because they are concrete, and he is comfortable with facts. Very few people know his "problem" with numbers aside from his family and a few select friends that he has the utmost trust in. He likes to keep excessively clean and organized with his belongings. Luckily, it only goes that far, and he doesn't have any huge disturbing rituals. It isn't as if he is mentally disabled; he's just overly neat and exceedingly good with numbers.

Lucas is not a very sociable lad, but he is sure trying...at least with his fellow Slytherins. It's even more difficult with outside Houses, giving the impression that he's 'just like the rest' to outer-House members. If girls ever came onto him, he would be unresponsive. He's not gay or anything like that; he just doesn't know how to react, often times getting extremely nervous. He has always been cautious and withdrawn, but all is not lost; he has a satisfactory sense of humor that most people enjoy, which prevents him from being totally isolated. At times, he's even funny when he doesn't mean to be so. He is outgoing with a small group of people, but at larger gatherings, he will hesitate. He's a decent person to be around and generally doesn't discriminate against other House members, even those Gryffindors. As long as they don't say anything negative to him, he won't do anything to them. He likes to be looked up to by younger members of his House, hopefully influencing them enough to not be the "typical" Slytherin. An unrealistic ambition of his is to break most stereotypes of his House. He can dream, can't he?

background check.

parents: Mother: Nadya, 56; Father: Jurgis, 58.

siblings: Older brother Anton, 26, an apprentice wandmaker, and older sister Lana, 21, a Healer.

other family: Grandmother on father's side, 74 at time of death. Grandfather, father's side, 85.

bloodline: Half-blood

history summary:

Nadya Sokolov was a rebellious pureblood Russian witch who could not stand the magical blood discriminations. Partly to spite her parents, she fell in love with and married a young, handsome Muggle Lithuanian captain named Jurgis Jurevicius who was in the Lithuanian army. Their first-born, Anton, was rejected by the grandparents. After they had their second child, Lana, she lost contact with her parents. When Lucas Rurik Jurevicius was born, the family of five was still living in Lithuania, in the capital city of Vilnius. Jurgis finally retired from the army as a colonel when Lucas turned three, and the family then moved to Ireland. Once Lucas was old enough to go to primary school, his father shipped him off to a private military institute in Greece called the Legionary Preparatory Institute (LPI), like he had done with Andrei before he went to Hogwarts. Nadya had no problems with that; she had liked the way Andrei had turned out with his disciplined ways. Lana had been home-schooled, and Luke thought that unfair to her. There, at the military institute, was probably where Lucas became obsessive-compulsive, because doing so earned merit.

His grandmother was probably the only one who kept him from going insane. A friendly, cheery woman, she would do all those typical "grandmotherly" things, such as giving him money whenever Lucas visited or sneaking him baked goods during visiting days at the LPI. He was disciplined and hazed severely at the school, and most of it was in the early transition stages, trying to adjust; slowly, however, he learned how to follow the rules and adhere to and eventually exceed standards. The disciplining wasn't so bad; after all, he was so used to the punishments that his father carried out whenever "Lucas Rurik Jurevicius" was being "insubordinate": infamous words from his father. As for the hazing, it could actually be fun, sometimes, like doing push-ups until his arms were about to fall off. The family is not rich, but they lead a comfortable life, able to attend to the "special" needs of Luke without excessive financial hardships.

In the year that Lucas was age eleven, he received his letter to Hogwarts. His parents figured some of the habits he learned at the military school would eventually fade away, but he was so psychologically attached to the structural lifestyle of the military school that everything stuck with him, and there is no sign of stopping. It's not like his parents are complaining, however. The day before he left for Platform 9 3/4, his grandmother, whom of which he was very close to, was killed by a petty thief trying to rob her house. She was the nicest woman, and he was absolutely enraged by how anyone would want to end her life, especially for so little a fortune. The whole family was devastated by the loss, but his father, being the strongest, said "We live, so we must die." Shortly after her death, the family moved to Norwich, England, to start anew once again.

He became fascinated with numbers from an early age, ever since he had looked through a copy of Numerology and Gramatica that his brother Anton had brought home one summer. He was ecstatic at his first Arithmancy class. He thought it was an absolute wonder why not many others took Arithmancy as well; it is probably the only class that he actively engages in, voluntarily. Numbers are his escape.

Lucas is close to his mother, but not so much to his father, because his father is a very strict man who doesn't particularly ask for love from his son. His mother raised him to have the highest possible standards for everything, especially his studies, whereas his father taught him to obey, or else. Throughout his early years at Hogwarts, he had trouble fitting into such a social world. Alas, what teenager fresh out of military school doesn't?

the end.

QUOTE

Crack.

A figure Apparated in front of the tavern, bored and... Well, just bored. It was better than lying around at home, doing nothing. Nice place, he thought as he looked through the window, standing there. Concluding that he must have looked like an idiot or just plain creep standing in front of the window with the quizzical look like that he currently had, he finally entered the facility, unconsciously counting his steps.

Lucas took a seat rather cautiously at an empty table near the door after step eighteen, and was rigid in posture, sitting up straight unlike the slouching of most his age. He ensured he had some money with him by checking his pockets, and the jingling of various sickles, knuts, and galleons answered him. It would have been quite ridiculous if he had come without his money.

He decided on his order of some firewhiskey and when he received his order, picked it up and sniffed it, then put it down.

It had been an extensive amount of time since his last alcoholic beverage, feeling like he's almost forgotten what it tastes like. Picking up the mug once again, he put it up to his lips and took a swig. It didn’t taste bad as the whiskey sat in his mouth, but when he gulped, he was not expecting the extent of the burn going down his throat, and he made a comical face, as if trying to say, “Agh… AGH! Heartburn!” Once it was all down, he coughed a few times, pounding his own chest, and several people around him turned in their seats to stare, as if staring would make something absolutely amazing happen.

“I’m fine,” he said assuredly, putting up a hand to verify his statement, knowing that they could not possibly care less. Embarrassed and without a comrade to share this potentially good time, he began to pathetically sip his drink, smirking inwardly at his own stupidity.
