Jor'lo stepped out of the Senkaimon that took him to this place, and breathed deeply. Ah, smell that fresh mountain air. He thought to himself, looking at this place he was at. Above him, all there was was blue sky and clouds, and below him he could not even see the ground. He looked out in front of him, and laughed. This was peaceful. For, out in front of him, was nothing but a sea of pillars. Pillars made of stone. He had no idea how nature had created these things, especially so high up, but he did not care. All he knew was it was secluded, with no one for miles, so it was perfect.

Jor'lo took out his Hell Butterfly, and gave it a message. Go and get Byakuya for me, tell him my location, and tell him to be ready. I wish to fight, and he's one of the few people who can give me a challenge. And with that, the butterfly was off. Now, all Jor'lo had left was to wait for his sparring partner for the day to arrive. So he picked the largest pillar, crossed his legs, and seeped into his inner world, staying faintly aware of the world around him, so he will know when Byakuya arrives.

You know you're going to have your ass handed to you. Was the first thing he heard as he entered his inner world. He laughed. Ah Rosokaku, always the opptimist. Jor'lo said with a chuckle. WHAT DID YOU SAY? Rosokaku yelled, as he whipped out his sword and placed it at Jor'lo's throat. Jor'lo put one finger to the sword and pushed it to the side, like he was shying away from something disgusting. Relax, old friend. It was merely a joke. Besides, I know that. But it'll still be fun none the less. Jor'lo calmly stated. Rosokaku laughed. I suppose you are right. I guess now all we can do is wait. And wait they did.

His dull eyes shifted in the direction of the window that always remained open in his Office. A black and red butterfly fluttered through gracefully, alerting none but the keenest of eyes of its presence. He held in his right hand an outrageously expensive pen. Under his left hand he steadied the papers he was beginning to sign. He waited, though, for the butterfly to proceed as it was commanded. It fluttered around in a circle, then landed atop Byakuya's left hand. Attention! Tenth Squad Captain Byakuya Kuchiki! it spat in a dull voice - the voice of all Hell Butterflies. Byakuya shifted in his chair, awaiting the rest of the message; he otherwise showed no sign of his attention. Eighth Squad Captain Jor'lo Ashikabe requests your presence in Sector 792 Section Z76 it continued. Where... he began, utterly confused. He took a moment to collect his thoughts of all known Sectors and Sections before continuing, ...is that? He reached for a drawer with his left hand, causing the Butterfly to begin flapping its wings once more. Before he reached the drawer that contained a list of all Sectors and Sections, the Butterfly announced, A Senkaimon is awaiting you in the Courtyard of the Tenth Division. He sighed, Of course he lamented. What did the new Captain want?

He readied himself at his own pace. He drifted to one end of his Office to gather his Haori. The other corner to put on his fingerless white gloves. Another, within a wardrobe, to gather his silver scarf that cost more than the twelve most expensive mansions in all of Soul Society. He then proceeded to the closet to obtain his sword, sheathed within its scabbard, from its gilded rack. He fastened it within the sash of his waist, tightly securing it so it wouldn't fall out upon nimble movements. He exited his Office, locking the door behind him, alerting none of his departure. He arrived at the Courtyard and noticed the Butterfly was still trailing him. Be prepared for a fight it told him, Captain Ashikabe wishes to test his skills against you it continued. Nonsense Byakuya thought dully. spars and matches were below him. All should have known that. There should not be one member of Soul Society that hasn't heard the rumors of Byakuya's serious attitude towards duty. Training is done by oneself and on the true battlefield. He turned and began back towards the barracks when he halted. Perhaps I should teach him... he thought, thinking it would be a valuable experience for the new Captain to learn from a Veteran Captain. He decided that'd be a good idea and turned back toward the Senkaimon.

____

His breath was momentarily taken from him upon emergence from the Senkaimon. So unbelievably high he was. The only think he could see when he looked up was clouds and sky. When he looked down, he saw the caps of mountains, though it was impossible to see the ground itself, for it was shrouded in high-floating clouds. He observed this field. four stone pillars stood tall. Naturally made, somehow. How it happened... he couldn't say. Four stone pillar, each roughly eighty feet apart stood. They gave the points of a perfect square. Byakuya looked about to find the Captain he was to meet. He turned to his right, and eighty feet away was his imminent opponent. I've been informed of your wishes, Captain. Let us not waste any time, for I have no time to waste he announced solemnly and gravely. He meant each and every word. I am Byakuya Kuchiki; Captain of the Tenth Division and 28th Head of the Noble Kuchiki Clan. Prepare yourself, Captain Ashikabe of the Eighth Division. he said, slowly unsheathing his blade. He closed his eyes and made the blade parallel with his chest. The tip rose to the top of his forehead and he spoke quietly, yet clearly, Chire, Senbonzakura (Lit. Scatter [or Disperse] Vibrant Display of Cherry Blossoms) releasing his blade into Shikai.

Five thousand pink blade fragments which resembled the petals from a cherry blossom tree appeared as his sword dispersed. Literally, his blade began from the tip to disintegrate into these fragments - pink petals floating gracefully here and there until the entire blade was gone. All that remained was the hilt, which would be Byakuya's means of commanding the fragments. For now, though, the five thousand petals circled around Byakuya in a single mass, two feet (as is Byakuya's custom) from his body to avoid unintentional injury.

Jor'lo came out of his trance that put him into his inner world as Byakuya exitted the Senkaimon. Ah, welcome to my place of solitude, Captain Kuchiki. Is it not....Breathtaking? This is where I come to meditate, as it is out of the hussle-and-bussel of the Soul Society, yet high enough up as to not disterb the people of the Human World. At this Jor'lo turned to his fellow Captain, and laughed. I see, you wish to....Shall we say, get things started? Very well. At this, Jor'lo unsheathed his blades. You know, I have always been impressed by your Zanpakto, it gives you the desition to either fight one person, while also being effective against multiple people. Which is good, for as you will see, I fight as if each of my blades is a seperate entity. But I always wondered, Captain Kuchiki, How will flower petals, even those that are actual fragments of your blade, fare against fire? BURN, ROSOKAKU!

And at that Jor'lo's blades arced, ever so slightly, and began to change colors. One red, one black. How do you like the first release of Rosokaku? I'll admit, it's not as intimidating as yours, but I find it effective. At that Jor'lo pointed his right scimitar, for that is what each blade was at this time, as if he was calling Byakuya out. Then, with a laugh Jor'lo yelled out at Byakuya. THEN AGAIN, FIRE GOES A LONG WAY TOWARDS INTIMIDATION! HELL FIRE! And out from his blade shot out a tongue of flame, large enough to easily cover the body of Jor'lo. This Jor'lo used to his advantage. Under cover of flame, Jor'lo Shunpo'd upwards, ending up about a quarter of a mile directly above Byakuya.Lets see how he deals with this. While I do not believe the fire will be a problem for him, I do believe that it succeeded in sufficiently hiding my shunpo, which gives me the element of surprise. Hopefully.

He sure was a talker, this new one. He welcomed Byakuya cordially, speaking of the beauty of this place. He even went as far as to tell Byakuya about the meaning and purpose of this place to him. He complemented Senbonzakura, telling Byakuya he'd always been impressed by the tales of such a weapon. He addressed the very true potential for Senbonzakura to be used to fight multiple enemies, though added that he was entirely capable of doing such as well, alerting Byakuya that he himself used his blades as two separate entities. Alright he thought, uninterested; he offered no reply. He addressed his curiosity at how Senbonzakura's petals would be effected by the fires of his own Zanpakutou. The same as any other, Byakuya imagined. The petals weren't real petals. They were metal blade fragments. They simply part and allow the fire to pass through, or be concentrated into such a mass that they either warded off the fire or something to that effect. He'll allow Captain Ashikabe to find that out for himself though. Since he was here - this would be a true lesson. Life or death. If this Captain couldn't hold his own in a death match against an ally, what use would he be against a threat such as an Espada?

His opponent released his Zanpakutou, drawing both blades and allowing them to morph into a black and white scimitar. He asked about Byakuya's opinion on his blades, though Byakuya replied only in a sharp turn of his eyes away from the spectacle. Enough talk. It's distracting and it'll get you killed. he offered, though in doing so he failed to follow his own advice. A large arc of fire found it way blasting towards Byakuya. His eyes widened in surprise, though he lifted his left hand and pointed it in the direction of the flame, Hado 33: Sokatsui e said, allowing a massive torrent of blue energy to blast forth, engulfing the red fire in a fire of its own. Byakuya's Kido, unincanted, rivaled and in some cases even surpassed the power of those on his level who incanted their Kido. The blue fire of Sokatsui easily diminished the red fire of Jor'lo's technique. The blast of blue fire simply continued, colliding with nothing along its way. Must have escaped he thought, beginning to stretch his spiritual senes outwards in an attempt to pinpoint his enemy. Not too far out, he felt it. Jor'lo's presence. Vast in all means, though not quite as vast as Byakuya's own. Instead of moving from where he stood, he cleared half the distance between himself and his opponent with one stunningly fast Flash Step.

He moved the hilt of his blade towards his opponent next, and the mass of five thousand cherry blossoms exploded towards Jor'lo in several pairs of thin tendrils. They shot forth from multiple angles, all originating from the mass of fragments behind Byakuya. Surely Jor'lo would dodge, though would he prepared to have the sharp devils follow him so closely on his tail afterwards?

Damn, didn't account for his ability to sense my presense, or his kido ability. Jor'lo laughed Well, this will be fun Jor'lo whispered to himself, then shot down into a nose dive, straight into one of the tendrils. He held his swords directly in front of his face, in the shape of an X. As he hit the tendril, he slashed out his swords to his sides, scattering some of the petals. He used his momentum to push through the rest. A few seconds later, he burst out the other side. He had a few shallow cuts on his face, and a farely deep cut on his upper right arm, but nothing he couldn't push through. He laughed out loud. That was crazy, even for me. He said with an insane look apon his face, then laughed again.

Jor'lo continued to fall until he was twenty feet away from his target. At this point, Jor'lo flexed his gripped on his hilts. Lets do this. He thought to himself. Then shunpo'd down towards Byakuya. He ended up on his knees behind him, slashing at his hamstrings. But Jor'lo did not wait around to see if it hit. He knew he needed to keep moving to win. He shunpo'd again, this time ending up in front of Byakuya. At this he spun, and aimed a strike to his chest. Lastly he backflipped over Captain Kuchike, stabbed forward at Byakuya's back, then shunpo'd one last time. this time ending up twenty-five feet in front of his fellow Captain, panting ever so slightly.

The fire of Jor'lo's blades was extinguished by Byakuya's own, and he stood in grim satisfaction as the tendrils of devilish blades slung themselves feverishly at the newly appointed Captain. Rip him to shreds Byakuya hoped - the quicker this was over, the quicker the lesson would be learned. His eyes widened a bit in shock as instead of trying to find some way to dodge, the Captain nose-dove into the tendrils of dangerous blades. The fool... he said aloud, watching as he crossed his blades oer himself as a minute form of defense as the 5,000 blades bit into him. The weapons only covered so much - the inch-long fragments found their way in every nook and cranny possible from that crude choice of a defense. The blades would slice into his skin at various points, drawing forth a fair amount of blood, Byakuya knew. Smart thinking, there was, when Byakuya realized the X-Formation Defense was used as an offense to the blades, as a small puff of perhaps 2,000 were pushed aside - thanks to the efforts of the new Captain. 3,000 still raged his way, hungry for blood. Their intent was evident and their reasoning pure.

The sakura petals did indeed bite into the Captain. They tore into his face, drawing lines of blood here and there. Shallow cuts lined his throat and his shirt was turn in places that the blades didn't protect. A concentration of blades to Byakuya's left cut deeply into Jor'lo's right arm, drawing more blood than the rest of the body. Operational, I don't doubt he guessed. It'd function fine - though not like it would have had he not been struck. The difference would be a noticible one, Byakuya knew. Instead of slowing down too much, his opponent admiribly, or foolishly, continued down towards Byakuya where he Shunpo'd when he was perhaps twenty or so feet away. A predictible attack - Jor'lo must have known the blade fragments were going to trail him, as they certainly were. They followed Jor'lo this time in a unified mass, though when Jor'lo Shunpo'd, they broke out again into many thin tendrils, advancing towards Byakuya, though respecting him by warping around his body. They, upon Byakuya's command (for Jor'lo's attack was indeed a very predictible attack) the petals unified in one tiny mark the size of a blade, fending off an attack aimed for Byakuya's hamstring. The blades were enough to stop the attack - they were imbued with the power of Byakuya Kuchiki. All of this was done without Byakuya turning around to get any glimpse of his opponent.

Now he knew that if one attack was blocked, his opponent would make another. This attack was likely to be more unique in the regard he had time to come up with something other than the standard "surprise-fail" attack, so for this he turned to view his opponent. He turned just in time to see a strike flung at his chest, which he struck out with using the hilt of his swordless-sword. He batted his opponents sword to the side, which caused his opponent to flip up ad over Byakuya in an attempt to get a strike on him in a new way. Or, that's what Byakuya thought! With a flick of his wrist, the blade petals that were ow in front of him flew in a unified mass over his head and to the area behind him. He, however, heard no clangs or swooshes, so he knew his opponent wasn't there. He scanned around with his eyes until he caught sight of his opponent nearly thirty feet away. He sighed and looked away from his opponent sharpy - ashamed. Is this how you fight? he asked, quite deragatorily. A few hacks ad slashes here, the a retreat and a breather? Perhaps you're not truly Captain material. he said calmly and without emotion. He cared not for what his opponent thought of his opinion towards him. Captains were Captains, new or old. They had better act and fight like one! He rose his hand and fired off another Hado 33: Sokatsui in his opponent's direction.

Not even.....Now, that's not even nice. Jor'lo thought to himself at Byakuya's last words. Jor'lo shrugged it off though, chuckled, and smiled. Then quickly jumped to his left to avoid the Kido sent his way. Well done captain Kuchiki, I'm glad the stories of your prowess in battle have not been exagerated. I worried that I wouldn't have a challenge. It's quite the opposite I see, if you were not a fellow captain I'd be fearring for my life right now! Jor'lo said before he let out a quick laugh. But I do agree with you on one point, I do believe that is enough talking for one fight... He said, then snarlled. Now it's time to get serious.

At this, Captain Ashikabe started to run around Byakuya slowly closing the circle closer and closer to him, until finally he hit about twelve feet away. At this, Jor'lo shunpo'd, ending up not two feet away from Byakuya on his right. As soon as he appeared, he slashed twice at his arm, once with each blade, then shunpo'd again, landing on his left, and once again slashing twice, once again with each blade. Finally, Jor'lo shunpo'd once more, ending up in front of Byakuya, only a foot away. Let's see him block this... Jor'lo thought, while similtaniously stabbing forward with both blades and yelling out HELL FIRE! Sending a pillar of flame out of each sword straight at Byakuya.

Captain Ashikabe avoided his kido, expectedly. If he had been hit by the Kido that was casted from nearly thirty feet away, there'd be some serious issues. Ashikabe addressed the tales there were of Byakuya and his battle prowess; he was glad to know the rumors were true. Byakuya nodded silently, eyes closed. He told Captain Kuchiki that if were not a fellow Captain, then he'd be fearful for his life, then proceeded to agree that he had talked enough for the fight. Before much more coud begin, Byakuya made it a point to say, Fear for your life in any and all situations. My intent is to kill you. Should you repel me and my attacks sufficiently, then you live. If not, you die. he promised, eyeing him dangerouly as he watched his opponent begin running in large circles. Little by little, the circle shortened in length until his opponent was dangerously close and in range for attacks from both his Zanpakutou and his blades. There was a little trick up Byakuya's sleeve - one he'd exploit on his opponents behalf. What would it be, though? What was there that Byakuya could do? The woosh of a Shunpo solidified that silent plan, and put it into motion.

Jor'lo reappeared two feet to Byakuya's right side. He moved his right arm up in an attempt to block, but was too slow. Both of his opponents blades bit into his skin, tearing flesh and spraying blood. Another Shunpo brought Jor'lo to his left side, doing the same thing. Seemingly caught up in the frozen defense, the attack was sustained. Two slashes bit into his left arm; mirror images of the very same attack on his right. Blood and torn clothing. One last Shunpo brought Jor'lo a foot in front of Byakuya - Jor'los three feet long scimitars jabbed out, biting into Byakuya's stomach. The new Captain shouted the name of his fire technique, sending a torrent of flame from his blades ad into Byakuya, burning a good portion of his stomach quite seriously. Blood dripped from Byakuya's mouth, and his eyes betrayed silent fear and surprise. He didn't move. He sat very very still. He didn't stay still for too long - in the midst of battle, sitting still for two seconds felt like ten seconds. Those two seconds is all it took for something crucial and pivotal to happen. In two seconds, the plan on an attack made itself all too clear.

Way of Onmitsu: Utsusemi Byakuya whispered from behind Jor'lo Ashikabe - his hilt pointed towards the Captain's back. A rush of pink petals flew at his opponent - their intent once again to shred him to ribbons. The five thousand traveled in a thin line - their mission was to swirl around the Captain's midsection once they reached him, tearing his chest, sides and back to a bloody mess. None were meant to cut too deeply. Perhaps on the chest, if they hit the Captain, a rip or two would be exposed. But it all depended on if the Captain was struck or not. If he was struck and moved forward for some reason in fear, without doubt bone would be exposed on his chest. A wound not too serious in and of itself - but one that would surely be a hinderance. Loss of blood would be serious, if struck. Though, if you sit and think about it... Byakuya just took six direct hits, didn't he? There was no blood oozing from Byakuya, and his Haori was missing. All he had on was his outrageously expensive scarf, his fingerless gloves and his baggy shinigami uniform, minus a Haori. Didn't he just get hit? Well, the answer to that is quite simple. Yes he got hit. No, he didn't get hit.

The same time Byakuya attempted to make a block with the hilt of his sword from the first two attacks on his right side, Byakuya performed the most stealthy of all Shunpos. No sounds were created from this form of Hoho. It, with motions so swift, creates in its wake a faux copy of the user/ This copy takes the place and position of the user with no visual or physical flaws. This copy takes all damage the user would have succumbed to - appearing as though they were really struck. So the blood and charring was real and fake. It was real in the fact that the attack hit something. Fake in the regard that it wasn't Byakuya. The real Byakuya only had to sacrifice an article of clothing for the technique to work properly - all that remained where Byakuya once stood was a charred Haori, while the real Byakuya organized an attack to shred his opponent from behind. A devious bastard, he was!

HA Finally! I got a hit in! Jor'lo thought, triumphintly. Slowly, he lowered his arms to his sides, then jerked them back up when he felt them begin to be cut, deeply. This led to him getting the same feeling on the top of his arms. He yelped, as a cat does when it's thrown in water. What the fuck... Jor'lo thought, urgently. Then he finally saw them: Thousands of Byakuya's blade fragments swirling around his full form. Of course....That bastard. You berrate ME for running away, then you do the same? You scared little RODENT! How DARE you! I will show YOU the MEANING of fear!!!! Jor'lo yelled at his opponent, wherever he may be. At this Jor'lo took the fire that was still on Byakuya's Haori, heightened it, and sent it to where Jor'lo felt Byakuya's reiatsu in the form of an explosive fireball. I hoped to not do this, at least not so early, but there's nothing for it. I CALL UPON THE DENIZANS OF HELL, COME TO ME, GOKA ROSOKAKU! Jor'lo yelled out, releasing his Bankai.

The release of his Reiatsu blew apart the blade fragments, freeing him up. Jor'lo brought the hilts of his scimitars together, at which point they connected, and lengthened. Becoming a blade-staff. Each blade shortened by an inch, becoming two feet long, but his staff it'self was now five feet in length. Spinning it over his head, he turned around in quick succession, turning to where he now saw Byakuya was. Finally, he planted one of the blades down next to him with one hand, placing the other hand at his side. This is the true for of Rosokaku, my Zanpakto. Behold and tremble, Kuchiki, for he is the herald of your DOOM! You plan on killing me? Well now I plan on killing YOU. I was serious when I said that this was supposed to be a simple spar, but you have taken me to my limit. Now we shall see who is truely stronger between us!

At this, Jor'lo began to twirl his weapon above his head at high speeds, while similtaniously fire began to flow from his hands and out from his blade-staff, quickly creating a fire tornado. Now you see my full power, Byakuya! Jor'lo yelled out, loud enough to be heard over the torrent of sound that his tornado was creating.

Frustration. Anger. Ferocity. Clouded-judgement. Those were all words to describe Jor'lo ad his state of mind currently. There was absolutely no doubt in Byakuya's mind that he had not upset his opponent. A seasoned fighter and Veteran Captain had the ability to see things such as this from a mile away. Thoughts were, beyond a shadow of a doubt racing through his opponent's mind. His suspicions regarding the anger level of Jor'lo were confirmed as his loud, angry voice resonated through the cool, empty air. Byakuya had been accused of hypocrisy - he had been told not to berate Jor'lo for running when he did just that. He was also called a rodent. His eyes narrowed dangerously, Never associate me with such a filthy thing... he warned, to start off his line of words. And you seem to confuse my tactics for yours. Where you ran because you needed a breath or so, I escaped a volatile attack to execute, moments later, an attack of my own. he shot back, quite angry at the fact he was called a rodent. A fireball formed near Jor'lo and was tossed Byakuya's way. He replied in kind, releasing a Shunpo to carry him thirty or so feet away from where he was. He watched the ball of fire explode, lighting all things within a ten foot radius on fire. He scoffed, but kept his eye on his opponent as he made sure to condense spirit particles, for his feet were no longer on solid ground.

He twisted his wrist a fraction of a degree, and what remained of his five thousand petals retreated back to the hilt to reform the sword of Senbonzakura, resealing his blade. Quickly, they successfully completed the katana and Byakuya held it awkwardly - not a defensive stance and not an offensive stance. A ready stance. Gusts of wind formed and it became apparent as to why Jor'lo had succumbed to such little damage from his attack - his buildup or Reiatsu and thus the wind, blocked the meek Shikai attack. In Bankai, such a thing would never happen. His opponent was releasing his Bankai; Byakuya watched in surprised amusement as the blades began to merge into one large battlestaff - two blades on each end.He twirled it over his head and readied it for battle. He explained to Byakuya that this was Rosukaku's true form and that since Byakuya planned on killing him he planned on killing Byakuya. This battlestaff, according to the new Captain, would be Byakuya's doom. My doom...? he asked, his amusement and interest apparent. I'd like to think my doom would be wrought forth by something more impressive than a battlestaff. Can you even control a Bankai, Captain Ashikabe? he taunted. He hoped that this wasn't how Jor'lo became a Captain - a display of his Bankai achievement.

The staff began to twirl again and licks of flame flew about the weapon. A boom encompassed the area and wind speed rose. Th flame merged with the wind and a firey tornado emerged from the end of his opponents weapon, and began to rage around without an apparent cause. Thankfully, Byakuya was forty feet away from his opponent. The speeds the Tornado was moving at would not arrive at him quickly enough to stop him from what he was about to do. He closed his eyes, You forget, Captain Ashikabe... he said, rotating his blade 180 degrees, until the tip faced a spiritual platform wrought forth by Byakuya's spirit energy. I have Bankai too. he said, releasing his blade and allowing the platform to swallow it. Ripples appeared from where the blade sank into the ground and they floated about. The light from the area and from the Tornado was shut out by the power of Byakuya's Bankai. All that stood there now was Byakuya and his opponent - standing in a massive arena of black and purple hues and shades. Slowly, blades twice as tall as Byakuya emerged from the ground - hundreds or perhaps thousands of them. They spanned for as far as the eye could see. He closed his eyes and tilted his head down once more. Chire, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi (Lit. Scatter [or Disperse] Vibrant Display of a Thousand Cherry Blossoms) and the blades dispersed into one hundred million blade fragments.

Byakuya had no hilt now - instead he had twenty thousand times the amount of blade fragments as he had in Shikai. If all the fragments were laid net to one another, they would equal to 117,370 Byakuya Kuchiki's standing side by side. If linked in a chain, single file, they'd stretch 1,578 miles. But no - they were all in one large mass. The battlefield faded back to its original color. Byakuya now had the choice of how to control them. He could control them with his mind and move them quickly. Or he could increase his accuracy and the speed threefold by controlling the blade fragments with his hands. which to choose? Needless to say, a large, massive tendril consisting of fifty-million fragments (half of what Byakuya could control) shot forth three times it's original speed to engulf the Tornado. The pressure of so many fragments together would nearly guarantee that the Tornado's windspeed would not win against so may fragments. The other fifty-million dispersed in hundreds of thin tendrils, flying three times their original speed towards Jor'lo. They'd begin a circle around him making way for a technique of Senbonzakura's. So many fragments, so little space. Frightening, it would be for the opponent on the other end.

Jor'lo felt the rise in Reiatsu keenly as Captain Kuchiki released his Bankai. Well, that was to be expected. Jor'lo thought, nonchalantly. At this point, his Tornado was surrounding him, and he could only see every few seconds as there was a break in the flames. But that was all he needed to see, for he knew what was coming as the blade fragments sped towards him. Well then... Jor'lo said to himself. We can't have that. He finished. At that, he began to build his Reiatsu rapidly, gathering it in his body like water pressure gathering behind a tied hose. There was no way he could hold it long, but he didn't plan too. He just needed enough of it to blast out at one time. You think... Jor'lo yelled out, panting from the effort. That I am just going to let you hit me? The strain was becoming un bareable to take. I am Jor'lo Ashikabe, and while I may be new, I am far from weak! Jor'lo yelled out, the last word coming out as more of a primal scream as he released all the pent up energy at one time.

Jor'lo felt the drain of his energy after releasing such a blast of Reiatsu, and he knew that wasn't good. But that didn't matter, the blast blew apart the tornado, which scattered the blade fragments that werte already begining to circle around Jor'lo. But he knew he had no time to sit and take a breather this time. A Captain of Captain Kuchiki's level wont just sit back and do nothing after his attack was faultered. And he was right too, cause the blade fragments were already speeding their way towards Jor'lo again, though this time they didn't block his way to Byakuya. He took his chance. Shunpoing, he ended up beside Byakuya, battlestaff poised to hit him in his right shoulder with the staff part of the weapon. Jor'lo knew it would not be a lethal strike, but it would deffinately stop him from continueing his current attack if it conected.
