Title: Of Rainbow Wings and Masks and Other Things
Description: Alruna and Ghost

Shia Akane - August 1, 2011 04:31 AM (GMT)
Another bleak day within the Hollow World. The fortress was virtually empty except for the current Primera. Alruna was feared now. She didn't get it. She was the least frightening hollow in the entire world of Hueco Mundo. She was more seen as the most beautiful. She was small and petite, yet held curves that could get her any male she desired. She didn't desire however. She was asexual, she holding no attraction to any gender. She raised a slender arm and combed her fingers through her long, verdant tresses, her hair slipping through her fingers like silk. So soft. She paced the halls of the Ivory Palace, she simply searching for something to occupy her time. She then froze, her jet black, serpent-like tongue darting out to capture air molecules which now possessed a scent upon them. The smell of a human. A human? In Hueco Mundo? Impossible. Yet it was her job to investigate as she was somewhat of a leader now. She took one more step forward before vanishing in a static blur, she soon reappearing outside in the desert.

Her tongue flicked a couple more times, the scent being stronger out in the open. She exhaled slowly and decided to discover this potential himan in the vast snowy desert, then figure out how and why he or she was even there. Now pouring a small amount of reiatsu into the tuft of feathers between her scapulae, she suddenly sprouted a pair of extravagant, multicolored wings. she spread her new avian appendages and took to the empty black skies, the search most likely being easier from the air. Now...where was this little intruder...

GHOST - August 1, 2011 05:44 AM (GMT)
Shade wasn't doing anything unusual, he was on top of a rather tall building practising on his ocarina, he had gotten it for his birthday last year, he had been practising sporadically with it to learn how to play it properly. He could play most of the tunes from a popular game series he liked. he was quite happily playing the Nocturne of Shadow when a thing swooped him. He stumbled off his perch and looked up for his attacker.

It was a bone white flying creature that looked almost like that rock/flying one from that pocket monsters game, it had a hold though its chest like some one had taken a round cookie cutter to it and taken out part of it's chest.

"oh for the love of... go way!" He complained at it, it just gave him a hungry look and dived at him. he dived out off the way, got up and ran. Though he was on a roof top he didn't have vary far to run, and nowhere to hide. it swooped him again, one of it's claws catching his coat, and he was pulled sideways and off the side of the building.

As he fell and considered his soon to be demise. a blackish hole in space thing opened and another one of those things wriggled it's way out the other side, leaving him to fall straight into it.

He found himself in a dark desert, that had... sand or at least he hoped it was sand, it was night time, or it was just dark, he wasn't sure. the black hole thing was gone and so was both the creatures.

"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more" he mumbled getting up and brushing himself off.

Shia Akane - August 1, 2011 03:13 PM (GMT)
Alruna soared across a great deal of desert before her sharp green eyes spotted a figure in the sand. She could tell right away that the figure wasn't a hollow or an arrancer, and his scent was clearly human. She assumed that this was the intruder she had been searching for. She swooped down, landing directly in front of the male. She had her usual stoic expression on her face as she stared the male down. She flapped her wings once, they disappearing suddenly in a burst of green, crimson, and yellow. The feathers swirled around the woman and the male before drifting to the sand around their feet. She kept her eyes on the male before finally speaking in her soft, gentle tone as to not frighten the human. How did you get here, human..? What are your intentions here in my world..? Alruna seemed to always come off as cold, despite how she tried to be polite. Alruna knelt dow to the male's level, she looking him over while she waited for him to answer her questions.

GHOST - August 2, 2011 12:09 PM (GMT)
He had gotten up and brushed himself off, when a humanoid figure landed in front of him, he tried to take a few steps backward but only succeeded in ending up on his rear.

"Now I know we're not in Kansas" he whimpered softly to himself as she stared him down, he didn't meet her gaze, it unnerved him more than just being around people in general. she flapped her wings and in a multi coloured flash they were gone.

She asked in a rather soft gentle yet somewhat cold tone, how he got here and his intention. he wasn't quite sure how to answer that, he really didn't know how he got here or where here was, and as for his intention? what intention it was an accident he was here to begin with... though she didn't know that... he had a few choices the best two being answering with sarcasm or the truth... it was generally better to go with truth as it was less complicated, and tended to translate the best.

She had knelt bringing herself to his level, which just made him all the more uncomfortable, he'd preferred if she had remained standing.

"To be honest your Ladyship, I don't really know how I got here, or really where here is or if here is any safer then where I was, falling to my doom. I do intend to try to find away to go home, as... intriguing as this place is I would feel more at ease knowing I could leave to somewhere I consider safe” he paused “or at least safer…”

He hesitantly smiled at her. ‘oh please don’t kill me’ he thought.

Shia Akane - August 2, 2011 04:51 PM (GMT)
Alruna stood back up, her sleeved arms crossing just beneath her bust. She listened to the male talk and determined that his words were true. His scent didnmt change like a liar's would. She respected his honesty. Then it hit her. Why didn't she realize this before? He was a human, and he could see her. He must be a siritually aware person. Alruna extended her hand, it being covered well past her fingertips by her long sleeve. She offered to help him up, she trying to think about what she should do. Should she open a garganta and take him home herself, or take him back to her Castillio and discover more about the intriguing human. She chose the latter option, her curiosity getting the better of her. Come with me...I'll take you somewhere safe where we can...talk...And then I will escort you back to the world of the Living... By the way, just so you know, I am Alruna Espinosa...La Primera Espada...What about you, human? Who are you..? Alruna's voice was a bit warmer now, she wanting to assure the male that she had no intentions to kill him. Not unless he attacked first. She hoisted the male up and held him against her body before taking off in a swift sonido, heading back to Las Noches.

GHOST - August 3, 2011 07:28 PM (GMT)
She had really long sleeves he noted, those where hardly practical, but if that worked for her he'd keep his mouth shut. He instead listened to what she said. Wait... world of the living? He did a double take of the surroundings, yeah this place did look pretty dead.

"um... My name is Queron Shade, most just call me Shade" He responded accepting her offer to assist him up. As she pulled him close, he bushed and went quite red, then almost went into shock as they began shooting across the countryside at a ridiculous speed. he felt like he had left his stomach behind. thankfully he hadn't eaten much and what he had had decided to stay down, which was good.

Shia Akane - August 6, 2011 04:10 AM (GMT)
Upon arriving at Las Noches, Alruna refused to let go of the human male. If he strayed toofar from her, he'd end up hollow food. She hurried him up to the hall with ten doors along it, five on each side. She walked the male to the first door, it being marked with a gilded, golden serpent. She lead the boy through a series of ten doors, each being spaced fifty feet apart. Unneccessary, perhaps, but made for an interesting trip as they entered Castillio De Serpiente. Upon entering the final door, the pair would enter the atrium. The large, semi-circular room branched off into six halls that lead to six rooms in her personal castillio. The first hall on the right lead to her personal bath house. t consisted of a large shower and an olympic sized pool that was filled with hot water. Since alruna was cold blooded, she needed the hot bath to warm herself up. The second hall from the right lead to a tea room. She used it to entertain guests. The third hall lead to a dining room. This is where she ate her meals. The fourth hall lead to her personal training grounds. The walls were strong enough to hold her energy so she could release her ressureccion, though only within that room. The fifth hall Was her Fraccion's quarters, though she didn't have any at the moment, so the room was vacant. The sixth and final room was her sleeping quarters, consisting of a large canopy bed with a crimson privacy curtain that surrounded it.

Alruna took the male's hand and lead him to the tea room. They exited the alabaster atrium and walked down the second hallway from the right. Upon entering, the room looked much like a victorian Parlour. It was clear that Alruna liked things classy. In the center of the room, there were two victorian style chairs with an antique cherry wood table between them. On the table was a silver platter with an aluminum teapot in the center. On either side of the pot were two ceramic tea cups on ceramic saucers. Along with the cups, therewas a small sugar container with a small silver spoon sitting next to it, along with three silver teaspoons. Alruna lead the male to one chare, offering him a seat before she sat down in the chair to the right. She reached over the table, taking the teapot in one hand, then poured two glasses of warm black tea. She sat one cup in front of Shade, she taking the other. She took the small silver spoon and scooped a spoon full of sugar into her tea, then stirred her tea using one of the teaspoons. She sat the teaspoon on the platter, then offered the sugar to the male before taking a sip of her tea, she soon speaking afterward. Are you comfortable, Shade? I hope the accomodations are to your liking... Unlike most Espada...I prefer to have a more....refined way of living....If there is anything you desire, feel free to ask...but first....explain how you are able to see me....and how you ended up here.... Alruna's tone was calm, yet serious. She tried her best to seem less scary towards the male. He was already scared enough as it was. She simply sat back and sipped her tea, awaiting his reply to her queries.

GHOST - August 7, 2011 10:52 PM (GMT)
He didn't mind getting dragged about by an attractive if not strange woman, she likely knew where she was going and wasn't human like he was and probably could bite his head off, so he saw it was within his best interest to do as she wanted, not that he could really do anything other than that.

He tried to take note of where they were going but everything sorta seemed all the same, and it was a huge place, if he wasn't being dragged along he would have been far lost by now.

They ended up in a rather Victorian room, now this was class, He liked the Victorian age, well the alternative known as steam punk that was very Victorian with a touch of machine fever that was just so... Awesome. He was more so interested in the room and it's decorations, that he hardly noticed he had been lead to a chair, not noticing till it had been offered.

"oh, yes, thank you" he said before sitting down, he almost felt at home, and he almost looked like he fitted in, his buccaneers coat was close enough to looking Victorian, though it was more Victorian at sea then... well, standard Victorian?

He thanked her for the offered tea, even though he didn't particularly like tea. He accepted the offered sugar, putting no less than five teaspoons in, as she asked him her questions, he thought carefully about his answer, he had already answered the second before, but with a change of wording it desired more info, the first was a conundrum, mostly as he wasn't sure why he wouldn't be able to see her... unless she was like those creatures or a spirit, which in a way made sense as she had referred to where he had come from as the world of the living, therefore this was the land of the dead, well it certainly had looked it. He took a deep breath.

"I hope you don't mind if I answer your questions in reverse order, I ended up here, where ever here actually is, after being knocked off a roof top by a flying white monster thing, as I fell a rather blocky black hole like thing opened in the air beneath me and another of those white things started coming out the bottom of it, I simply fell into the top and luckily ended up in the sand, or I would likely be quite dead, which I'm still wondering if I am or not." he paused to consider it, it was a good question, was he dead? He took a sip of his tea then continued. "As for the first question, it's less of a matter of why I can, and more why should I be unable too. As far as I can remember I have been able to see spirits and the monsters, I've never really met another, um... human who can see them too. It's strange how the monsters have ignored me until I got this." he reached into his coat and pulled out a fluffy brown hair band with a pair of bunny ears attached to it. "ever since then they have hunted and chased me, I do not know why. I really do like what you have done with the decor" he commented smiling "um terribly sorry about my ignorance, but what is a Esparda?" he queried

Shia Akane - August 11, 2011 03:41 AM (GMT)
Alruna sipped her tea as she listened to the male explain exactly how he got to Hueco Mundo. Apparently a careless hollow was behind this male.s presence. She would have to repremand the creature for its carelessness. She soon sat her cup down and looked up at the boy, she seeming to lose her train of thought for a moment. After a few moments of silence, she looked up at the male. Care to go for a swim, Shade..? I have a pleasant, heated pool in another room. You see...I use it to up my body temperature, and I am rather cold right now...You are welcome to join me. She got up and walked out of the room, she leaving a trail of colorful feather behind for the male to follow if he wanted to join her.

As she arrived to the Pool Room, she inhaled the warm, herby vapors that emenated from the heated pool's herbal waters. The lavender scent was soothing to the woman. She tugged down the zipper to her top, shedding it, revealing a row of emerald green scales down her back, a tuft of yellow feathers between her shoulder blades, and the number one tattooed on her left shoulder blade. She then shed her Hakama pants, dropping them to the floor with Quetzalcoatl buried beneath them. The now nude espada walked into the pool, letting the warm water heat her frigid body. Assuming the male would follow, she decided to answer his question about what an Espada was while she waded around in mid chest deep water. We espada...are the top Arrancar in Hueco Mundo...We are the best of the best....There are ten of us total, one being the strongest and ten being the weakest. I am Arrancar number one. Primera Espada..meaning I am the strongest arrancar in this world...Do you understand now, Shade.. She glanced up at the boy, assuming he followed, her emerald green eyes locked on him.

GHOST - August 14, 2011 06:46 AM (GMT)
She sat her cup down and looked up at him and they sat in silence as she seemed to gather her thoughts, he finished his tea, not wanting to look like a bad guest. Her eyes wandered then she looked back at him, and asked if he wanted to go for a swim... A rather odd request, but it was to warm herself up... Well if the room was cold Shade wouldn't really be able to tell, he was rather rugged up in his pirate coat which was made for living on the sea, so it was quite good at keeping him warm, his entire out fit was designed to keep him warm really so he could save energy by not turning on a heater or making a fire, not that you really were allowed these days. Though he did like swimming...

She had left a trail of colourful feathers, for him to follow obviously, they were rather pretty, he picked a few up and put them in his coat as souvenirs and followed her, he found her undressing... and nearly went into shock... it wasn't the green scales or the yellow feathers, he'd already figured she wasn't human. it was the fact she was naked, this put his innate shy nature into over drive... he went bright red and turned his back to her. And listened as she answered his question. "I don't quite understand everything, but I understand your important and powerful. I'm guessing Hueco Mundo is a place, and Arrancar are a ruling class or government? Which your the leader of." he paused and thought pulling out and fiddling with one of the feathers, it was really pretty, just like her. He did feel better as he wasn't facing her. it wasn't that he was repulsed by her body, quite the opposite, which was the problem... he had made himself a promise which he intended to keep.

"I didn't see anyone else on the way in, where are your subjects? Or do they know they are not to be seen or heard until summoned?"

Shia Akane - August 14, 2011 03:29 PM (GMT)
Alruna had noticed that the boy had turned his back to her. Was he afraid, has he never laid eyes on the female form before? Alruna was far from shy. She thought nothing sexual from being nude. She saw it more as natural. Everyone comes into the world naked. Alruna did. Shade did. All living things are born nude. It was society who turned it into something dirty. Alruna listened as the male spoke, he still being quite confused on everything. She waded through the water to the edge of the pool, she sitting on the edge with her legs dangling in the water. This world...Hueco Mundo...If where souls go..when they die with regrets. They become hollows. This place...is essentially Hell...Here, it's survival of the fittest...Hollows kill and eat each other to become stronger...to evolve, each hollow seeking to be the strongest. I have killed my fair share of enemies...but not because I wanted to..I had to...to survive..Do you understand more clearly now, Shade..?

She glanced over her shoulder to see him with his back still turned to her. She looked him over curiously and rose to her feet, she walking around and now standing in front of him. You will not look at me....Why is that? Does my appearance frighten you? Or perhaps you have never looked upon the female form...Just relax, Shade. I have no ill intentions. And don't worry...As you said, my subjects won't come to me unless they are needed. So no need for embarrassment..you are safe here in the privacy of my Castillio. Alruna's green eyes focused on the crimson faced male as her delicate hands came up, sliding his nautical criminal style coat off, she then laying it over an alabaster pillar. She then took a step back and smiled, a rariety with the ever stoic primera. She then slowly backed up into the pool, she standing on the water's surface for a few moments before sinking down into the heated pool. She awaited the shy human to join her, hoping he'd get over the embarrassment.

GHOST - August 17, 2011 09:03 AM (GMT)
Essentially hell... well that was nice, he thought sarcastically, so I could be essentially dead or doomed, he didn't feel dead so more likely the latter. he understood what she spoke of, it was survival of the fittest, but once you where the fittest, what then? To his knowledge there was really only one thing things did once at the top of such a Instinctive regime... He understood how it worked, he liked to contemplate the nature of the mind and the creature that contained it.

She walked around and in front of him and spoke, and he did his darnedest to keep his eyes from drifting from her face, while trying to hide his unease, though it was likely she could sense it, but he hid it on principle. As much as she wanted him to relax, she was making it hard for him to do so... The she stole his coat and his major source of warmth, he didn't attempt to stop her, he just closed his eyes and let her take it. as he heard her move back into the water he opened his eyes and looked for his coat, she had put it on a pillar, not far away, it would be so simple to just put it back on... but instead he sighed, and sat down and removed his boots and socks, putting them next to the pillar, he got up and removed his shirt tossing it on top of his coat. He was rather cold now.

He walked over and sat down at the edge before lowering himself into the pool, he dunked himself getting his hair wet, and causing it to go all messy, but he brushed it back with his fingers, too keep it out of his face. "If you would your Ladyship, describe for me what you think defines what a monster is." he asked inquisitively watching her, though trying to keep his eyes on her face then elsewhere as he half squatted half floating in such a way that only from his neck up was above water.

Shia Akane - August 17, 2011 10:00 PM (GMT)
Alruna smiled slightly as the boy relaxed enough to join her in the pool. It was peculiar. He was still too uncomfortable to be natural around her. Humans were so unusual. So much emotion. It fascinated one who was without emotion. She approached him and now stood across from him, her eyes watching him as he asked her what her idea of a monster was. An odd question, but not one she was afraid to answer. My opinion of what a monster is..? A monster...is one who gives into primitave urges....one who kills for fun...one who harms the innocent...Most hollows are monsters...even I was a monster at some point...but I gained a sense of rationality. I advanced. I abandoned all emotion....aah..forgive me..I seemed to have rambled on once again....I do apologize.. Alruna sank into the water, warming her cold blooded body once more before resurfacing in a more shallow area, the water coming up just below her navel, her hollow hole now visible above her navel. She leaned back against the pool's edge and closed her eyes, she relaxing only a few feet away from the male. She wanted to help him relax around her, but didn't quite know how to do it.

GHOST - August 19, 2011 09:29 AM (GMT)
Shade listened to her response to his question, after she had finished speaking he waited till she had resurfaced, he eyed the hole above her navel, a strange thing it was, it would mean her internal anatomy would be rather warped, then again... she had said this was essentially hell so it was more then likely she wasn't a living creature, so such a hole would not bother her, nor would or should she have the same needs or functions of the living... which made her need of warmth strange, it could possibly be echoes of her once living self...

He still wasn't relaxed, he wasn't sure he ever could be, in the presence of anyone, even himself. She seemed to relax at the edge of the pool not far from him, frankly he was now more curious then uneasy, but still uneasy none the less.

"I do not consider that rambling, if it was I still would have listened, it is an interesting response to a rather interesting question, though your response covers what a monster does rather then what it is. It is my opinion that a monster is only definable by it's nature, which is selfishness, this monster is apart of many if not all creatures to varying degrees, alive or dead. the duality of humans are a prime example of this..." he trailed off, then smiled sheepishly "now I'm ranting"

Shia Akane - August 22, 2011 10:42 PM (GMT)
Alruna noticed the male eyeing her hollow hole. Was he fascinated by it, or frightened by it. She decided to find out for herself. She swam up to him, she now standing directly in front of him. She took his left hand and pressed it to her stomach, guiding it down until he touched the hollow hole above her navel. Her gaze was locked on his, her expression emotionless and strong. Does it frighten you? Do you see me as a monster? My world is frightening...there is no denying that...but do I add to that fear..? Tell me honestly, Shade.. She gripped his hand as it remained pressed to her stomach, her eyes holding a rare glimmer of emotion. She feared the male's answer. Was it possible that this human was growing on her? She dreaded having to return him to the world of the living. She didn't want to part ways. Not today at least. Perhaps she could convince him to keep her company until the next day. That is...if he wasn't afraid of her..

GHOST - August 23, 2011 10:09 AM (GMT)
He went quiet as she moved up to him and took his hand and dragged it across her form. He was quiet, and seemingly distant, seemingly having become unemotional himself. She spoke and he listened. "Would it hurt? I mean if I put my hand through it? would it hurt you, or me or neither? Curiosity is such a powerful thing, don't you think?" he paused looking up at her face, "I do not fear you directly, as with all people I fear what they are capable of doing or might do. You understand your world much better then I do, you have seen the pain and anguish it can cause, I haven't so I do not fear the world unknown to me. many humans find it easy or necessary to destroy or condemn what they do not understand, the fear of the unknown rules them. I find some of the things I know more scary then the unknown, and curiosity calls me to learn more..." again he paused looking back to the hole "I don't see you as a monster, but as one who understands the effect of the monster within and has chosen to fight it rather then embrace it and let it out, Something I respect." He turned his hand around and looked at it "Did you know that a human gets wrinkly if exposed to water for too long?" he smiled up at her.

Shia Akane - August 26, 2011 12:30 AM (GMT)
Alruna listened calmly as the boy spoke. His words made a great deal of sense to her. He really knew what he was talking about. Maybe all humans weren't morons after all. The male before her was quite intelligent. She held great respect for that. As he spoke about getting wrinkly in water, she smiled a bit and sonidoed out of the pool and to the other side of the room. She sonidoed back to the edge of the pool, she now having a towel wrapped around her body, another towel in her hands. She extended one hand, offering the boy help out of the pool. Assuming he'd get out, she would hand him the extra towel before drying herself off and getting dressed. I assume you are wanting to go home now...spending time in hell is certain to be unpleasant for a human such as yourself. Would you like me to take you home? Or would you like to stay longer? The choice is yours....I, personally, enjoy your company....it is nice having pleasant, intelligent conversation with someone...Wouldn't you agree? I would offer you food...but I have nothing that would be pleasing to the human palate..perheaps, it you visit again...I will be more prepared... Now dressed, Alruna stood with her back turned to the boy, her eyes watching the ripples in the water as they faded, the water going still, steam wafting above the surface. So calming...so hypnotic..so...nice..

GHOST - August 28, 2011 12:22 PM (GMT)
She vanished, and he stood up and then she was back with a towel and was offering a hand to help him out, which he gladly took and was assisted out of the pool, water running off his pants, being work trousers they where a thick knit and didn't hold much water, though like denim wouldn't dry quickly. he towelled off rubbing his hair into a puffy messy then with a free hand combing it all back into place, he then tried to pat his pants as dry as he could before wrapping the towel around his waist before retrieving his shirt and coat. and pulling them on.

"You know I wouldn't call this place hell, it might be hell for some one who died with regret, But I've found my time here to have been quite pleasant. I wouldn't mind staying longer, it's good to have someone who actually listens and understands, and it's quite interesting to learn new things which before I really had no idea about as well." he paused an thought. "and I'm not actually hungry at the moment" He smiled and started doing up the buttons for his shirt.

Shia Akane - August 31, 2011 07:47 PM (GMT)
Alruna couldn't help but smile when the male said he was actually enjoying his time in Hueco Mundo. This made her feel accomplished in making the human feel comfortable and welcome in such a dark, dismal place. She really thought this place could use some color. She was the Espada of beauty, after all. She admired lovely things, colorful things. Her ressureccion was even colorful, unlike many others that she had seen. The monochrome releases of the others couldn't compare to the extravagant, feathered serpent. What made her happier was when he said he wanted to stay a while longer. He was wanting to learn more about her world, and she was happy to show him, just as long as he didn't use that knowledge to betray her. She thought for a moment on what they should do, and then it hit her. She smiled and focused reishi into the feather tuft between her shoulder blades, she sprouting two large, colorful wings in hues of green, red, blue, and gold. She turned to the male and smiled before pulling him close, curling her wings around him before using a sonido to return back out into the desert. Once they were outside, she leapt into the air, she still holding him close while she spread her wings, she soaring high above the desert while clutching the human male to her body. He wanted to know more and see more of her word, so she wanted to show him. Just hold tight...I will not let you fall. Trust me, Shade.. She gave him a reassuring smile, her arms curling tighter around his waist while they flew above the empty desert of Hueco Mundo.

GHOST - September 4, 2011 12:38 PM (GMT)
She sprouted a par of vibrant rainbowish wings... like that of a Lorie or green Macaw, they where quite pretty, but not as pretty as Alruna as she smiled, she had a rather pretty smile, it caused her whole countenance to change from a seemingly bland robotic husk to... something alive and beautiful, she should smile more often, he concluded in his head.

She pulled him close and wrapped him in her wings, he couldn't help but blush and feel uncomfortable, though he didn't tense up, then they were outside and they took to the sky, even though he was being held tight the feeling of seeing the ground so far below was exhilarating and thrilling. the land stretching far away and the wind on your face and the wing ruffling through your hair... this was awesome, though he wished he could fly under his own power that would be... well interesting to say the least.

Shia Akane - September 6, 2011 01:00 AM (GMT)
Alruna soared high above the shifting, snowy sands of Hueco Mundo. Her monochrome world couldn't hold a candle to the technicolor primera. Her wings and scattered feathers brought a hint of color to the dismal dimension. It was still like putting lipstick on a boar. Alruna's colorful beauty still wasn't enough to make this place pleasant. She sighed a bit and hugged the male tight against her body as she swooped down, landing them both down in the middle of the desert. She still held the male, her head resting on top of his as her wings burst into a flurry of vibrant feathers that swirled around them like a colorful tornado. Alruna was flooded with emotions that were alien to the robotic minded arrancar. She was confused. She wanted to understand. Amazing how such an intelligent creature was completely thrown off by emotion.

GHOST - September 7, 2011 12:16 PM (GMT)
They soared through the skies like a paintbrush across the canvas of a skilled and enthusiastic painter, a trailing glimpse of colour the world otherwise lacked. they soared for a bit, he heard her give a tired sigh... not the kind that came from physical exertion, the sort that came from great mental exertion that didn't come to an acceptable answer or prolonged exposure to mental stress. They then landed, in a seemingly random location in the middle of no where which wasn't much different from anywhere else except that complex they had been in.

She rested her head on top of his, it was nice to be hugged like this, though he was unsure why. He wasn't uneasy about it either, he rather liked being hugged, though a warning before hand would have been nice earlier when she had wanted to take him out for a fly.

"something on your mind?" he asked watching the swirling feathers.

Alruna released the male, she feeling an odd warmness in her face that painted her alabaster cheeks a vivid shade of pink. Was she..? Impossible..The emotionless Primera was actually blushing. She was feeling really strange. She decided to see if the human could help her understand. He did ask her what was on her mind, so she decided to answer. I feel....horribly strange...There is an odd feeling in my chest...like a heaviness...It's strange...I never felt it before...Is this what you humans call..emotion...? The confused arrancer looked at the boy, her emerald eyes full of wonder, her cheeks still an odd shade of pink. She wanted to understand if what she was feeling really was emotion, or if it was something else. Something even more perplexing. She has felt so many odd feelings since meeting the human. She began to wonder what the connection was.

GHOST - September 13, 2011 01:18 PM (GMT)
Shade turned and took a half step back, he studied her face and listened to her carefully and thought about it "It could be or you could have a cholesterol problem... well that is if you were from my world. heaviness... heaviness... hmm... as a creature that has never lived without emotions it is rather hard to describe them in a way that makes them understandable, or even even discribe what it is like to have them. They make little logical sense. But in saying that I would also class them as quite valuable regardless of the lack of logical sense they make." he mused out loud then fell silent, unmoving yet, you could almost see him thinking.

"In all of human history, humans have failed to truly explain or understand emotion or even come close really... It is really one of those things you need to experience and define for yourself, though I do have some theories concerning why you might be feeling emotions if you normally wouldn't, though I could be completely wrong too." he considered this.

Shia Akane - September 14, 2011 03:45 PM (GMT)
Alruna listened as the boy spoke. He seemed quite intelligent, his words drawing her in closer. Cholesterol? Alruna hardly had the kind of diet that could produce cholesterol. She listened carefully, her hand still resting on the left side of her chest, her fingers curling within her sleeve as if she was gripping her top. She was disappointed to hear that he couldn't explain, though she did understand his reasoning. She then heard him say that he had theories. She looked up at him, a glimmer of hope in those alluring emerald eyes. Theories..? Please tell me... Anything to explain why I am suddenly feeling emotion....I have tuned them out for so long...Why am I suddenly feeling them now? The confused Espada sat down in the sand, resting amongst her discarded feathers from the disappearance of her wings. She was confused. She hated being confused. She waited anxiously for the male to explain his theories and give her a bit of insight.

"Well... um... It could be a bleeding through effect, caused by close proximity to a emotional creature, which could work a number of ways. firstly and most likely at some stage you did have emotions and have only been suppressing them since then, you might think your self emotionless but you can still make assertions such as like or dislike and morality, good and evil. A truly emotionless creature would not be able to make these assertions as they have no basis or foundation for them. You might suppress them because those around you only have the emotions you associate with the monster, and so you suppress all emotion, because you don’t want to be like them. But then you meet some one who has a different set of emotions, ones you like and so your defences weaken and your own emotions are able to break through and present themselves.” He stopped and thought for a bit. “That makes the most sense and makes all my other theories fall apart and seem like nonsense" he bent down and picked up some of the loose feathers, he held them in his left hand and studied them. "You have really pretty feathers you know, but not as pretty as when you smile." He half smiled somewhat shyly.

Shia Akane - September 17, 2011 03:58 AM (GMT)
Alruna listened intently as the male spoke. In all honesty, his theories made sense. After her sempai, Layle, was murdered by the espada centuries ago, Alruna felt all emotion become locked away inside her. She never loved again because no one could ever replace Layle in her heart. Though Layle raised her like a daughter, Alruna was in love with the man. Watching him die while feeling weak and helpless made Alruna into the emotionless girl she was today. However, being around this human boy had awakened her locked away emotions. She felt a warmth that she had never felt before. It was pleasant and calming, yet somehow alarming. She then heard the boy compliment her feathers after taking a few in her hand. She smiled lightly, but suddenly found herself blushing when the male said that essentially her feathers were nothing compared to her smile. She turned away, her cheeks a bright crimson hue, a faint smile still present on her face. Perhaps feeling emotion again wasn't so bad. It didn't effect her rationality, but it still felt good to be somewhat whole again. She was still a little embarrassed from the male's comment, her face still bright red, she unsure of what to say now.

GHOST - September 19, 2011 10:02 AM (GMT)
He studied the feathers and thought about it.
"You know with the right materials I could make a head band for these to go in and I could wear them like the Aztec's... hmm... though I would likely have to take my coat and shirt off to have it look good on me though, something to consider" he put them in his coat and his spiritual aura fluctuated swirling about him for a moment before dying back down and returning to normal. He didn't notice this at all and seemed quite oblivious to the fact it had even happened.

He smiled at Alruna, it was obvious to him that she was going through some emotional complexity's. He really wasn't the best person to help her with it though he would do his best to be a friend... even though he wasn't that good at it... he didn't have many friends and those usually kept him at arms length anyway, due to his peculiar ability to see spirits, he had one or two spirit friends... though they more where some one to talk to then actual friends.

Shia Akane - September 21, 2011 01:28 AM (GMT)
Alruna smiled and listened as he spoke, she wondering why he'd need some of her feathers for a headdress. Were her feathers that beautiful? She didn't mind at all. She was flattered that the male wanted her feathers out of all the colerful feathers in his world. Hers were a rariety to say the least. He wouldn't find hers on any bird in his world, unless he happened to catch a certain rainbow pocket monster in one of those video games that the humans in his land enjoyed so much. As he put the feathers away, Alruna felt a fluxuation of spiritual pressure coming from the boy. She became curious, she trying to figure out why it happened. Could it be because of her feathers? They were made of her reiatsu after all. Perhaps touching her feathers and possessing them had given him an infusion of her own reiatsu. How peculiar. Alruna had never heard of such things happening except with Soul reapers when they passed on their powers to a human. Cherish those feathers, Shade...they'll bring you great power someday. She gave the boy a soft, kind smile, she now wondering what they should do now.

GHOST - September 28, 2011 08:24 AM (GMT)
Shade was completely oblivious to whatever had just occurred with his spiritual whatever, he didn't even know what one was, he was that uninformed on matters spiritual. He had just put away more of Alruna's feathers, he could make something out of them he was sure, though it was likely no normal human could see them, which was a pity as they were really pretty. Then Alruna mentioned how they would grant him great power one day... What a odd thing to say... hopefully she then wouldn't do an uncle Ben and do the whole 'with great power comes great responsibility' line, cos that would be just plain weird, besides he doubted Alruna had seen any movie's, really he didn't know if she had been to his world at all, with her ability to not be seen she could go and see movie's for free... that would be cool.

The aria around them was pretty desolate and void, there really wasn't anything to see... "If this is hell, what is heaven? and is it any good?" he asked curiously.

Shia Akane - September 29, 2011 02:14 AM (GMT)
Alruna watched the boy gather more of her feathers, stuffing them into his pockets. He really was planning on making something from them. she assumed he was serious by the amount he gathered. Once the feathers left her body, they could be seen by anyone, so it would be nice that humans got to see and admire the extravagant colors of her plumage. She then heard the boy ask what heaven like. She blinked and tilted her head to the right sloightly. By heaven, did he mean the Soul Society? I..wouldn't know....I have never been to the Soul Society..but I have heard that it is much nicer than it is here...If it wasn't for the fact that I would be apprehended and killed on sight, I'd love to visit...to see what it's like...such a dangerous dream to dream...Perhaps I'll visit your world instead... Alruna sighed and gazed out over the vast, empty desert. The world was so empty. So monochrome. She wanted to see more color. More...beauty. If only...

GHOST - October 1, 2011 07:13 AM (GMT)
"Soul Society? ... That sounds like some sort of cult or social club... " he stood there and thought for a bit. "and it hardly sounds like a nice place if they killed people they didn't like on sight, It makes them as bad as monsters... You want to visit my world? If you want too, you won't have any problem with people gawking at you cos most won't be able to see you, though that might also be an issue, though I'm used to weird looks when I look like I'm talking to myself." he smiled and thought about what they should go and see in his world, sure it was vastly different to this one, and if she hadn't well then there was a lot to see just in a single street... "is there anything in particular that you wanted to see?"

Shia Akane - October 1, 2011 10:11 PM (GMT)
Alruna thought a bit when the male spoke. Were the Soul Reapers just as bad as monsters for doing their job? If so, then that made her kind monsters too. But in all honestly, most hollows were mosters. Alruna was a rariety. One in a million. A kind soul among killers. One would wonder how such a gentle being ended up in hell. Alruna didn't have an answer. For all she knew, she was born in this world. She didn't know if she had a prior life. She didn't know if she had a human life. All she remembered was emerging from the sands as a winged serpent, then becoming an arrancar, and then Layle.... She had to stop with her thoughts there. Every time she thought of Layle, water seeped from her eyes. Her mind was quite advanced and intelligent, but she didnmt know what crying or tears were. She was just so lost when it came to emotion. She was finally snapped from her thoughts when the male asked what she wanted to see in his world. She looked up at him, smiled and gave him one of the simplest answers that she had given in a long time. The sun...

GHOST - October 5, 2011 08:38 AM (GMT)
He checked his watch, "well if time moves the same here as in my world then the sun will be still up, there is a few hours still before it sets. We could find a nice sunny spot and bask in the sunlight, it's quiet warm. and what is really pretty is the sun set, though not as much as sun rise, but still it's quite nice to watch, though I live in the city so depending on the weather and smog levels whether we could actually see if from where I live, though it's not far to go to leave the city, or we could go to the top of a sky scraper, which towers above the smog." He wished it was later or earlier so he could show her a sunrise or sunset, both where really the spectacle to see as far as sun related things went, Eclipses were cool and all but they were way too rare.

"So how do we... Crossover?"

Shia Akane - October 5, 2011 10:51 PM (GMT)
Alruna was happy to hear that the male was willing to show her the sun. When he asked how they "cross over," Alruna raised her right and swept it across the air. As she did so, the inky black sky tore open, taking the form of a mouth like portal. She then pulled Shade close and sonidoed up into the portal with Shade in her arms. The portal closed behind them, placing them in the Dangai Precipice world. Stay close now...This is the Dangai realm. Like shinigami who have to pass through an interdimentional realm between the soul society and your world, We will have to walk through the Dangai Precipice.. It's just a long, narrow canyon...it may seem like it takes forever to pass through, but in real time, it takes thirty seconds. The world's colors were a deep purple in terms of tones in rocks and the sky. The walls of stone on either side of the two were a deeper purple, almost black. The dirt on the ground, a lighter shade of indigo. Alruna kept the male close as they neared the end on the precipice, an opening appearing at the end like light at the end of a black tunnel. Alruna held the male close and Sonidoed to the end, the two emerging into the light. In Karakura Town, a garganta opened, Alruna and the boy emerging into the brightly lit world. The sun was alreadly looming in the western sky, but it felt so warm on the icy arrancar's cold blooded body. Alruna inhaled deeply, taking in the fresh air of the living world. So pleasant and soothing. So warm. Alruna longed for such warmth after being in a world so dark and so cold. She kept her hold on the boy. If she let go, he would plummet to his death, and she couldn't have that, so she sonidoed to the roof of the tallest skyscraper, setting the boy on stable ground while she just stared out at the glorious scenery.

GHOST - October 15, 2011 11:53 AM (GMT)
She opened a portal like she was just tearing open reality as if it was crępe paper, she carried him through into a very purple place... that was the realm of the Dangai apparently, though he had no idea what a Dangai was, though regardless he hoped they were either busy elsewhere or friendly. She mentioned the Shinigami and how they had to do something similar, it really just sounded like a waste of time and space, though with other “worlds” you technically had an unlimited amount of space, it was just time that remained limited. Then there was a light at the end of the canyon, a brighter word then this one, his world, assumedly. His world did have a habit of being brighter then other worlds, but it had it’s dark sides too. They come out in the sky some where, it felt rather good to be back, like a warm feeling that… oh wait that was just because his was a warmer world with the sun shining down and all, though the air did taste a lot better. They moved to the top of a skyscraper, he looked down over the city and frowned confused… he didn’t recognise any of it at all. It was a totally different city in a totally different place on earth from where he had started… “Umm… question, other then on top of a skyscraper, where are we? I don’t recognise this city…” he was interested in travelling to other places he had never been to before but this was ridiculous, he would likely get deported for not having a passport, if they could catch him.
