One of each is in my opinion the only way to go. That way you have one mobile machine for that week when you have to go out of town for business or go on vacation. Or if your like me and also like to go to friend's house and lan the night away I don't want to haul my desktop around.

Also with one of each you will always have at least a computer in case one goes down. I have two external hard drives that i keep certain stuff on so I can access it from either computer. Nothing makes you want to do this bash.gif more then if you don't have access to something on a broken computer.
