Well it seems like we are all a bunch of Morrowind addicts here, but how did it all started? When did you actually got your hands on Morrowind or got to know Morrowind? To me it was just pure by accident which turned out to be one of the nicest modding experiance I ever got laugh.gif . It came with my dad's new pc and I thought let's give it a try. I know when I stepped of the boat in Seyda neen I was completely blown away by the water and the weirdness of the world. So when did it all started?

Well i remember i was at my friend justin's house, and we were playing some other game (medieval total war i think). I picked up the morrowind manual and asked if i could try it out. Well needless to say six hours later, my friend had fallen asleep and i was still playing. its all history from that day two and a half years ago

Funny story actually...

I was visiting my relatives up north here in Norway, in Trondheim. And my cousin which was soon going into the army at the time he said that I could just get the game... I didn't know nothing about Morrowind, but he said that he didn't play it anymore so he gave me Morrowind, Dungeon Siege and another... Scirimish or something unsure.gif

Oh, I've long spent that money.

Unfortunatly some things never changed, and one of them is the content amount of my wallet... specificly the lack of content. (Do I even have a wallet anymore?)

I swear.... 6 years later and 5 years older and what do I have? NOTHING. I need to focus a bit more on getting a job laugh.gif

My story consists of a visit to Glendora California.

The same uncle that introduced me to such games as Resident evil, Half life, and Jedi Knight 2

showed me a perculiar game that intruiged and bewildered me, at the tender age of
11

"fuk Mon' its fuk like fukkin' Grand theft auto Fuk pluas Mon!!!! Fuk mon.....linkin park is teh gweatest baund eva mon fuk" were my immidiate thoughts.

2 years later i pick it up at a gamestop and play for 5 hours straight.

a year after that i downloaded it through torrents for the PC and the fun hasnt stopped yet.

I was looking for a playstation game and saw game of the year edition in amoungst some other pc games i was glancing at. i saw it was fairly cheap so i looked at it some more and it sounded kool. Tribunal made me think that that expansion was all tribal stuff so that made me want it more. i wound up buying jedi outcast aswell i think, which was also fun.

to bad wink.gif luckely it comes with an expansion pack. I also bought trib and bloodmoon a wile back but I never realy did the main quest. More like exploring everything and such. I hope they will make some cool expansions for Oblivion like a new continent. Or mabey put all the mods together into one big expansion pack smile.gif

It all started when my old man was building a new computer and microsoft sent games along with all the hardware. So I was getting on to do stuff and I saw the funky morrowind symbol so me being the angel I was back then I ran down adn asked mydad if I could play it. he said yes and I was addicted once I started and actually did stuff.

One of my best memories was going through the pelgaid fort and finding the *best* bow, which was a silver longbow. biggrin.gif I also bought bonemold armour becasue it was so good. Which isn't exactially a lie bonemold is a decent armor.

I didn't have Tribunal or Bloodmoon for the longest time. I even began becoming bitter towards those that did because they would often require one or both of the expansions for some mods to even work. But one day I joined the ranks of those I jealously despised and got the GOTY box set (the one with the game and the two expansions). I happily played from then on (until the death of my computer that lasted two years).

What can I say, I was at the Grand Tournament( warhammer, if anyone knows what that is) In Nottingham as an outrider, from Norway, that blessed year 2002. And one of my opponents, asked me if I had ever played a game named Morrowind, naturally I answered no, as I did'nt know what it it was.

He explained a bit of it to me, and in the lunch brake at noon, he allowed me to play it on his laptop. I was an foul addict at the moment I came out off the ship as well, and we started to have much fun, after the tournament was over I found out that he actually was from Norway( so I went through all that english talking only to find out he was living in the same town.), so we started to hang out a bit in Norway, untill we got together, and he's still my boufriend, and we managed to buy a small house half a year ago.

So there you have it, a small part off my life as well, how I got addicted to Morrowind.
