Well i'd say we should get an RP in at least the planning stages. Now the first step is do we want it in Morrowind or in Cyrodill?

I think Cyrodiil will be a better place since it's where Oblivion takes place, however I'm not sure if there is an official map of Cyrodiil but that's not realy something we need in the early stages smile.gif so I say Cyrodiil

Yeah i think cyrodill would be great for an RP. Now we need a plot, and something in depth as well. You can start an idea and we can add onto it or vise versa

ok so you mean we have to work on the main storyline or just side stories? It's also cool to have side adventures which all end up with the main storyline orso smile.gif I'm not very good at designing rpgs I'm more like the person who just rolls in the game wink.gif

Well side stories are best left for in RP action. They usually happen as a spur of the moment thing or in the planning thread right before.

The main story has to be done first, otherwise the RP gets out of hand. Everyone's opinions can be expressed about what they want in an RP and i can organize it into one story. Of course not everything can be included

true so basicly we need a main storyline and what some like to call the dungeon master who looks over the topics and posts. I mean isn't it a lot easier to let it take place in another country? Some that we designed ourselves but still is a part of the world? That way we will have a lot more free things to play with, it doesn't realy has to fit that much in the lore smile.gif We can still include Cyrodiil and such smile.gif

Yeah definitely. We can even make cities up in cyrodill, or just go on our knowlege of whats there already. The dungeon master? well i could be him, however dungeon master could still RP. Usually we just have a mod do that, like Minque in Waiting4Oblivion, since she has mod stuff

yeah okay sure if you want to...but first we have to get this thing off the ground and get more members once the main story is finished. I can make a separate password board discussing the storyline? After that we can work on guidlines and rules and such. smile.gif?

Well for the time I think I could have some spare time for a RP on this forum... When I played D&D which I did for over 4 years I was usually the Dungeon Master. But when I made my campaigns I was familiar with the landscape and had a ton of books which I worked a lot with...

But Cyrodiil is good because it's more open for players who doesn't know that much about the lore too.

I think we could just have a small brainstorm of ideas, and then if we got some more members willing to join we could start the real planning wink.gif

yeah I was thinking the same thing since the boards aren't a realy crowded place yet to start playing wink.gif I made a separate storyline board. I don't have that much rpg experiance yet I used to do it on mwsource. Btw the storyline discussion is password protected so if you want to help us out with the storyline I can send you the password smile.gif!

I'm willing to commit myself to an RP.

Truth be it It didn't work out so well for the last one I started.... for me anyways. The RP is still active and they seem to have liked my idea.

I can actually commit now, I now have a surpluss of free time. I fresh start, a clean slate, and some originality is what I'm looking for.

Just one question... it doesn't neccisarily have to be TES related, does it? We have a rather successful un-TES related Sci-Fi RP going well and strong on W4O. Though I'm fine if that's not how things are done here.

For now, i really just want to get it going before any non-TES RPs, however if you have a really good idea i might make an exception
