connecting to xbox live, I need a bit of help

Captain Group: Members Posts: 184 Member No.: 14 Joined: 22-February 08	Hey guys, Im planning to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live but im not sure how i should go about connecting it to the net. I have 1 computer about 10,11 metres away from my 360. Im getting a new computer into my room. PC is right next to 360, use the wireless connection from downstairs and bridge the connection (with a $10 ethernet cable) so my 360 can use it too. Of course, I can only play Live (get it? ) when the PC is on, but it's always on anyway. You can do the same thing if you have a laptop. Put the laptop near your 360, plug the ethernet cable into both, and use the wireless internet on your laptop to allow your 360 access to it. -------------------- ~Nayr -- Battlezone PlayLive Session Manager --

OH WOW. That's shocking.

From what I've heard, Live uses about 60-100mb per hour, but from my experiences its a fair bit less.

I'm on a 60 gig plan, 1.5mbps.

I'd recommend at least 10 gig a month, just to be safe, but that should definitely last you the whole month. I'd say 1.5mbps is the minimum speed to begin to enjoy Live, if you can get ADSL2+, go for that.
