I know we've pretty much already been through this, but I thought I'd make it official and start a discussion here about it. WE NEED NEW MEMEBERS. Active new members.

Any ideas, anyone?

Well you could make adds that spread across the internet or post something on myspace or facebook or something for everyone to read.
for example:

Attention. Those who love to role play,or write. Baroque is the place for you!
It's great for letting your imagination run wild. Just give it a shot. Trust me, its addictive.

well you could say something to that extent.

Now that I've looked around I'm starting to do that type of thing. On Facebook...Well, I'd rather not, because the only person that would join that hasn't already kinda freaks me out and I don't want him anywhere near my baby... So yeah. But thanks for the tip! And we won't talk about MySpace...It's unfriendly and I don't have one anymore, I'll leave it at that. MySpace should DIE. But you can advertise there if you want!

alright i'll do that. I've also been going around telling my friends, and they're thinking about it.

Not much going on there either, just a few people there still playing enough to keep it open, so I feel ya..

Okay, so I'm thinking about joining the site but with a proper name and you can delete this one. I just used quick one in order to post a quick suggestion with getting more people to come to the site.

Anyways, since this site is made by invisionfree boards there's kind of way to cheat the system. Go to the registry and find your board name, this one being "Baroque", and click on something or other called "visit site." By doing this the number on the side next to your board about total visits will go up and refresh the next day.

However you can keep going back with new terminals, IP addresses, or new windows and the count will rise, but you won't see it until the next day. Thus more people will visit the site because the number will have a higher visit count and more people will want to go to more popular site. That should do the trick.

If that doesn't work go back to the adds. It worked for another site I once RPed on so you should try that.
