Cassarah strolled through the depressing rain with her feet almost a drag. She never felt like this before. Her mind was so full of pain and depression that it almost tore her apart, but she managed. But she couldn't help but wonder why she was always this alone all the time.

Rain was dripping off the hood of her jacket as she kept her guase on the ground before her feet. She noticed how the rectangular stones were layed perfectly even. they to were stained, just like the surrounding buildings.

Finally she stumbled upon an old run down shop. It still had its welcoming sign in its broken window. And the porch had remained somehow. Not worrieing too much about it she stepped out of the rain and onto the porch. She checked the building's knob and was unsurprisied that it was locked.

Turning to face the city, she sat with her back against the wall. She raised her right knee and rested her arm on it. Her eyes were alert as she watched the passing people.

Suddenly something caught her attention. She looked around, but there was nothing. Her brown eyes scaned the area. A nearby presance was bothering her, but she had no idea where or who it was. Suddenly her eyes locked on a figure that seemed to be standing across the street, facing her direction.

"That human...." His thought paused as his black eyes followed her every move. He seemed to have recongnized her somehow. It was unfortunate that the rain was so heavy. He could barely see her, let alone get a sent from her. "Wait...is...that....ah I can't tell."
The way she was walking made her seem as an easy target. Grey shook his head and smiled at the thought of it. He then looked over his shoulder at the drentched body that lay limp in the middle of the ally wondering what he was gonna do with his left overs. He sighed and turned towards the body, allowing him to loose track of the girl. As he walked towards the body he noticed a manhole nearby, knealed by it and opened it to dump the body in it.
After he opened the mouth of the manhole, he wrapped his frozen hand around the body's throat and swiftly yanked and stuffed the body into the hole. The body sounded like a sac of potatoes collapsing as the body collided onto the soaken concrete below. He smirked, then closed the lid to the manhole hoping no one would find the body before it could decay completly.
He rose with a silent laughter dancing on his tounge and turned back towards the streets where the lonely girl walked. His blackened hair was soaked and rain still bounced off his shoulders, making his leather coat stick to his skin as he stood there in the ally guazing into the rain. Finally he began to walk into the crowd, "Now, where did she go?"
He retraced her steps, trying to catch her deluted scent, unfortunatly it was no use. So he dropped that idea and continued to follow the street and just look for her. He grew impatient with the slow flow of the crowd of people. He could run faster than the speed human's eyes could follow. He then bolted through the people but only went a short distance when he noticed he had passed her as she was sitting by an old door.
He stopped where he was and looked back to watch her. The rain was so heavy he could barely see but he could tell she was well alert and had noticed him pass by, yet she had no idea. He laughed and waited for her to look down. Once he got his oportunity, he bolted back until he was able to stand still across the street from her. Her eyes imediantly shot up and locked onto him. He smiled but wondered, "Does she know?"
With his first few steps into the street before him, her appearence brought him into a dead halt. Her facial features looked so familiar, yet her sent was still too dialated to tell anything. He stood there for a second studing her face then realized she was the girl he was surching for that had ran from him in the golden forest.
He hoped she would allow him to get closer as he walked to the miniture stairway of the portch. He heizitated on the first step, wondering if she had reconigized him yet, and stepped onto the portch. His head was low for the first few moments, then he slowly looked up at the girl, and never moved another muscle until he knew what she was gonna do.

Her whole body tensed when the person walked towards her. It was hard to tell who the person was but the continued to walk onto the portch as if they wanted to talk to her. She sat there and closed her eyes, calming herself. She hoped that this figure wouldn't be a threat but there was only one way to find out.

Her depressed blue eyes slowly looked up to find the man hesitating at the portch steps. He reminded her of the vampire that had chased her before. Her mind came to a sudden halt, he was that vampire. "But what is he doing? What does he want? Is he after my blood again?" Her mind was so full of questions, she didn't know what to think.

It was so strange to see him act the way he was. He kept his head low the whole way up the stairs and stood on the edge of the portch with his head still low. Finally his black eyes met hers, and became a solid statue.Silence lingered in the air and stillness crept among them as they studied each other's eyes.

Cassarah broke the stillness by looking down and slowly standing up. She didn't know what the vampire was going to do, but she didn't care anymore. After she made it to her feet, she leaned against the door and looked back into his midnight eyes. Something was different about his eyes this time...it was as if they were turning green or something, but she couldn't tell.

His eyes darkened as he watched her stand. Was she going to attack him? He knew she recognized him. Yet he waited. She surprised him when all she did was lean against the old wall behind her. Her eyes seemed full of sorrow. The fire he saw back in the forest was now gone but the sent of her strange blood still ran through her veins. He stood there cautiously watching for any sudden moves. Strangely she posed no threat.

Finally his statue form was broken and he slowly walked up to her. This was different for him. He hadn't done something like this since he was human. His eyes darkened as he watched her expressions as he walked closer. Suddenly he stopped. He was now finally face to face with the girl he had been after for months. With a half hearted laugh he said, "You know? You're a hard one to find." He had no idea what he was doing. It was just something driving him to do this, but what? He thought on it for a moment and came up with a way to turn this into a trap when she least expected it.

He gave a gentle smile as he slowly raised his hand and placed it on her warm cheek. He caressed her face for a moment and drew his face closer to hers. He didn't care what she was going to do or at least try to do; he was too strong for her. There was no way she could escape him now.He had brought his lips only centimeters from hers when he paused to look into her eyes. He smiled and planted his cold lips to hers. Her lips were so warm yet so soft. His arms were now wrapped around her, binding her closer to him.
