Ladies' Sitting Room
Often, this is where the Soleilian queen spends her time. It is a very warm and bright room directly to the right after you enter the castle. The walls are decorated in creme and light brown striped wallpaper, the rest of the room reflecting this. Many vases of gardenias adorn the room, and several creme-colored feminine couches surround a glass table with several different coffee tables books and picture albums laying on it.

Mens' Parlor
This room is very rarely used due to the fact that the males of this household are all deceased. Never the less, it is still kept spotless. Opposite the door are two large rectangular windows. The floor is of light-colored wood and the walls are navy blue with white trim. Most of the decorations are white and the furniture as well. There are a few couches and a desk with a chair. There's a large and very full bookcase on the right wall and a fireplace on the left. Many of the room's decorations reflect the past king's love for sailing and travel.

Royal Chambers
The chambers of the king and queen are now only the chambers of the queen due to the king's death. Thus, this is a rather sad room, it being the place where many pictures of the queen's long gone family have accumulated. The walls are a sort of creme color, the floor resembling the white and creme marble of the outside walls. The canopy bed is the same color with gold accents and trim. Their is one rather average looking dresser directly across the bed on the wall. It has three pictures sitting atop it, all in gold frames. The first is of the former prince; the second the the entire royal family; and the last of the former king. There is also a balcony here that can be accessed through a set of glass doors. The queen spends as little time as she must here.

Prince's Chambers
No one, save the servants who clean, enter this room anymore. It is too sad of a reminder for the queen, yet she can't bare to let it go at the same time. This is the former prince's room, and it is still intact as the last day he lived in it. His bed is creme with gold decorations, and the walls are a very subtle tan. The dresser and other furniture are also creme, and many of his assorted belonging are still scattered about. His beloved graphophone and record collection and his large personal library all crammed in one bookshelf are the main things that stand out.

Library
Although avid readers, the Soleilian library is among one of the smallest in the royal circle. It is a well-stocked library, just of small proportions. There are many windows and thus always plenty of light. The walls are of white plaster and wood, and the decorations hint to ancient Rome. It is a very wonderful and quiet place for the intellectual in everyone.

Ballroom
This ballroom is the most simple yet the most effective of all the most used ballrooms. It is nothing but dark wood walls and a light hard wood floor. Its windows are all decorative and let in plenty of light for daytime occassions. However, this room is usually bare. It is decorated per event from top to bottom and then stripped immediately afterward. Many things are held here besides balls, such as important political meetings and dinners that are too big for the small dining hall.

Dining Hall & Kitchens
Many consider it a treat to dine in the quaint but quality dining hall of Wessex. It is decorated in light springy colors; the walls are a light blue with white trim and the furniture is all white. Flowers are always abundant decorations here and thus the atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. However, the most special thing about this place is that the Soleilian royalty have always, for generations and generations, insisted on everyone in the castle eating together at one time. Often, they can't all fit inside the medium-sized hall, but everyone eats none the less. Needless to say, the workers here feel very close to their royals. And the kitchens happen to be the most modern with the best chefs. So stop in at dinner time and grab a bite! You will no doubt be most graciously welcome.

Stables
These once great stables are now mostly empty. A few horses that are necessary for travel are kept here along with the usually large harvests of hay that the estate brings in each year. A few fine carriages also can be found here, but don't mention the past to those who work here. The king and prince were quite the horse enthusiasts, and mentioning such things makes the servants rather upset. What was once a very happy place has become rather somber.

Orchard
From this great orchard, one can see the sad graveyard. However, during the warm seasons, this place is a wonderful one to be. Many fruit trees are taken care of here, and the fruits they produce are amazing. One day every year, the royal family hosts a sort of picnic here, inviting all those who want to come to enjoy the harvest gathered from these trees and the gardens. It is usually a very quiet place, an ideal spot to go to relax or relfect.

Family Cemetery
The Royal Cemetery of Wessex is located a few miles behind the structure itself. One must go through the flower gardens before you can get there, and the orchard is directly behind it. Quite a few tombstones of all shapes and sizes reside here, some old and some new. Two graves in particular are almost always decorated in memory of the two most recently lost royals, the prince and king. Many say that this graveyard is very haunted yet it has a peaceful atmosphere.

Catacombs
Throughout the castle in many locations are the entrances to secret catacombs. The dark stone tunnels can be like a maze to those who don't know their way around them. The passages were constructed in the old castle's early days, when Soleil was a prime target for all invaders; it was the only way to insure the safety of the royal family. The new castle has been built on top of them and new catacombs built in and around the old. The catacombs are cold and dark, holding many mysteries that have never even been guessed at. What might you find inside, if you can ever find your way out to tell anyone?

Hallways & Other Castle Locations
Most of the hallways in this grand mansion of a castle are decorated in warm colors of autumn. Gardenias are always in pots and vases throughout the castle. Many servants work here and are always somewhere about; they are very kind and can be helpful if you need assistance.

Also, if you want to role play somewhere in the castle that is not listed above, do it here.
