Noir The capitol city of Foncé is always very busy. The entire city is of Gothic architecture, the constant rain staining the once beautiful wooden structures a stone gray color. Many merchants have small street shops and there are always coat-clad businessmen trudging through the rain on the cobblestone streets. The city has one opera house, a few taverns, and few very well hidden brothels. The castle, Caverne, sits almost on the shore.

Elson Elson is one of the more bright cities of Foncé. This town is mainly merchants, buying and selling, and farmers, also buying and selling. A sewing factory and a textile mill are slowly growing in number of workers. The people here are simple and not very dramatic, unlike those from Noir. The only real threats here are thieves and the occasional vampire. People from the Lumineuxin Settlement often come here to buy their goods.

Paramour Paramour is known as the "City of Dark Arts." It is basically Foncé's cultural city. If you wish to see and learn of all things Foncé, this is the place to go. The themes of all the works are dark: the grotesque paintings; the frightening operas; the chilling plays; and the spine-tingling music. Artists who couldn't make it in Lumineux (in Bauxite) often find themselves here among the almost-black stone buildings.

Durward This city is the port city of Foncé. All sailors, fishermen, and pirates stop here from time to time. The salty sea air smells of fish due to the fishermen selling their catches and wares. This town has a few shops, taverns, and one large marketplace. It's not a bad place to spend time in during the day, but be wary of thieves and pirates at night.

Rumbelow Village Ages ago, a group of night elves founded and settled Rumbelow Village. The elves are strict about who can live here and therefore the population is rather low. Nothing but pure night elves are allowed to live here. They don't mind if humans and other creatures come for short stays; they have a small and successful inn for just that. They make everything they use and sell their creations to make their living. The only thing one needs to be careful of is half-elves. Half-elves of any kind are stoned to death on sight; gruesome horrors await you if you are found in the company of one as well.

The Lumineuxin Settlement Because of the lasting peace and the engagement that has tied the two countries for years, a small group of Lumineuxins has made a settlement on the edge of Foncé. Its numbers have grown over the years and the people are beginning to understand Foncéan culture better. The houses are all simple and small here. One tavern and one hall for entertainment are the only two buildings that aren't homes. But the Lumineuxins are more than kind and will take in almost any weary traveler in need of rest or a meal.

Nacht Colony On the opposite side of the small channel that connects the Sea of Gray and the Wisterian Ocean lies another colony. This one is much more settled and old than its neighbors across the channel, however Nacht Colony is a settlement of vampires. Mostly, it's like a big hotel for vampires who like to come and go, but quite a few actually live here in one large coven. They keep their colony going by selling odd things in their market, from animal blood to ancient holy relics. Many mages and witches frequent this market which is a wonderful source of ingredients for them. Although dark and scary, the colony is quite safe during the day. Just don't get caught there at night.

Succor This small town is a hideout for Foncéan criminals and cads. It has one tavern and inn and a few shops that are really used to hide people. No one actually lives here because of the abundance of thieves and murderers constantly coming in and going out. If any bounty hunters are brave, this is where they can hit the jackpot.

Nocturne Forest Nocturne Forest is an odd place indeed. Almost eleven months out of the year, the black trees of this forest are bare; but when fall comes around, for one month, the tress sprout deep red leaves. Many beasts and demons call this dark forest home. Do not enter unprepared or unarmed unless you want to die.

Haunted Hills The Hills lie between the Lumineuxin Settlement and the sleepy city of Elson. Lumineuxins often treck it, and once you get used to what it hides, it's really not that frightening. The Hills are home to ghosts a plenty, even a few mindless zombies. But its number one inhabitant to send folks running away screaming are the banshees.

Poltergeist Lagoon Between Durward and Paramour, and forcing Succor to the coast is the Poltergeist Lagoon. Most people try not to visit this murky marsh unless absolutely necessary. Not only do the green, filmy waters hide many sea monsters, but ghosts seem to love this place as well. Those who have been here tell tales of strange things happening. Sticks and other nearby debris would begin floating and moving; their swords would mysteriously be unsheathed and begin chasing them; and worst of all, they would be pushed in the water when there was nothing else around. Are you brave enough to try and defeat the playful, mischievous spirits here?
