So, yeah, even though I'm afraid there might not be any fans here I decided to make a topic for it. It's definitely one of the best mangas I've ever read, and everyone who I have recommended it to have also liked it a lot. Even a few of my friends, who prefer shounen manga got totally addicted! So I thought I'd share it with you.
So, some info..
After School Nightmare (originally 放課後保健室, Hōkago Hokenshitsu, lit. After School Infirmary) is a shoujo manga by Setona Mizushiro. It has ten volumes in total and is not going on in Japan anymore.
About the story.. The main character is called Mashiro Ichijo, who has secret - he (I could write he/she but I'll use he know since it's used in the manga and everywhere else, too) has the upper body of a male but a lower body of a female. One day, a mysterious nurse appears and leads Mashiro to an infirmary full of beds. There the nurse tells him about a class he has to take in order to graduate - a class that takes place in a dream shared by all the students in it. In the dream class, everybody's darkest secrets are revealed and the participants are forced to fight it each other to find a key which is an essential part of passing the class. And, as the nurse says, the class' purpose is also to make the students' biggest wish come true. Mashiro decides that his wish is to become a real male, but along the series he continously has mixed feelings whether he wants to be a male or a female. He is being approached by both a girl and a boy, who both love him.
Oh god, how I suck at summaries! XDD But I think that was the main idea of the series. If you want you can search for more info from some other site if you want, but don't use Wikipedia's site - it has some VERY major spoilers in the 'Story'-part! O.O
ANd yeah, besides the very well written and amazingly executed story the art is really great. Mizushiro's style might take a while to get used to if you prefer classic shoujo style or something, but she's very talented and the art is, at least to me, very high quality.
