Yep, another one from the pages of the 3am. How are you all (2 of you tongue.gif) liking these?

This month's excercise: use a dozen of these lovely phrases (like "she was gaily grieving" or "he had many pleasing plains") to describe a person, place, or event. You are looking for surprising connections. p65.

An oxymoron, if anyone doesn't recall, is a phrase where two words contradict one another, as in the examples. A person who is a 'big pussycat'. A beautiful carwreck. An honest lawyer.

Word limit? I'd say... 50 word minimum, no particular maximum, just whatever feels finished.

I don't see any problem with it.

...of course, I don't speak for the rest of the members of this forum...

Sex and Murder (sounds like the name of a song)

One man's trash is another treasure, some what the same thing applies to murder. One mans tragic loss is another sick art. What one person finds a sickening mess another seeing a beautiful art work. Me? I see the beauty in the blood running down the wall. Now you're all thinking, crazy bitch. A murder to me is beautifully tragic. I see the beauty in it but i know someone has lost a person close to their heart. Rhythmic savageness is the best way to describe the rainbows caused by the stab and slice. each swing paints it's own story. Blood runs down the wall, like heaven reaching down to the earth. Sex is another such thing, when you think about it. Mmmm so heavenly sinful. So painfully pleasurable if left to agonize at one point. And it all ends in a disappointing relief - disappointing in the fact the fun is over, but relief that is finally is and you can rest again. So when you step back and look at the world in it's black and white, it's full of the sweetest sour.

...you know, I might have given this a shot, but having seen that...

...yeah, I'm not going to bother, there's no way of beating that.

Even if I throw in an "I hate you lovingly" in it...

Boy lusted girl with all of his heart.
Boy believed he was nothing, and would sacrifice it all for her.
Girl didn't like boy, girl liked girls.
Boy didn't understand, and thought he was failure.
Girl said: "You're incredibly witty, and incredibly kind. But most of all, you're incredibly crap."
