mad props !

i've decided to include my own unconventional 'game' for the site after some deliberation.

honestly, i hate those 'of the month' things, because i feel like the same people (generally the staff) win them every month. it can hurt feelings when people are overlooked, and to me it fosters those cliques that make a board very uncomfortable.

so, in lieu of that, i am presenting you with a 'game' that i call MAD PROPS. here's how it works...

when you encounter something on the site that makes you smile, that you think goes above and beyond the norm, or that makes you enjoy your time here on ADTS, take a little time to come to this thread and post a MAD PROP for it.

some examples? a link to a thread that you think is beyond epic, an ic or ooc quote that is legendary, the welcoming attitude of another player, the fantastic ship they dreamed up for your character, an hysterical game response...or anything really that makes you feel good.

my aim is to let people be recognized for the amazing things they do without popularity contests or monthly voting. if we get enough, i'll get a gadget to let them pop up on the skin randomly as you visit the different areas of our forum.

i have included the OPTIONAL code below just in case you want to make it look pretty. don't feel like you have to use it.

i'll start us off with three, with more to come i'm sure.

you haven't ditched me! yay! sorry, i am so used to fickle people showing interest and then disappearing after i put them on staff. but you two have been amazing so far! i can honestly say that i could not have done this without you, nor would it be nearly as much fun as i had to. thank you so much for helping me bring this baby into the world and make it more awesome than i thought it could be!
