gotham’s highest crime and lowest income area otherwise known as the east end, much of the bowery borders on slum-like and is considered highly unsafe after dark. it offers many a tenement, money laundering businesses, and dark-lit bars for the criminal ilk.

an extremely important historical location for the city, rumors suggest that the square was named for a witch hunt that took place in the original gotham settlement. today, it is home to gotham’s institutions of learning as well as many ‘new age’ and ‘enlightened’ businesses.
