Welcome to Ashwood Ridge!
&& GRANDE OPENING.

Welcome to Ashwood Ridge, where beautiful people and enourmous bank accounts come to romp and play. This is also home to the lower class of people who move here to get rich quick or give great opportunities to their children.

One of these oppurtunites is Ashwood Ridge Highschool This school eventually evolved into a boarding school. It is very prestigous and the exceptional curriculum seems to send almost every single student off to an Ivy League college. But recently area teens have been irresponsible and rebellious (more than usual, if that can be imagined), so much so that parents have decided to take a stand and instill a mandatory program at the school. It's called Project Opportunity. Read the plot to find out more.

    just tell me your name;

    Character's Nicknames: Ron(by his sister), Hawkins.
    Gender: Male.
    Sexuality: Straight.
    Birthday: April 30th
    Age: Eighteen.
    Grade Level: 12th Grade, Senior
    Hair Color: Blonde.
    Eye Color: Blue-greenish gray.
    Height: 5' 6"
    Weight: 135 pounds.
    Scars: A few on his elbows due to his klutzy tween years.
    Playby: Charlie Hunnam.
    Appearance summary: Aaron, for the most part, is not bad looking. He's basically your average blond, blue eyed boy. That is, until you get closer. Aaron is short for his age and often complains about it, the object of contrast being his close to six-foot friends. He has narrow hips and shoulders, and thin wrists. His muscular aspect is small, if existent at all, as he has recently failed on trying to maintain a six-pack and only succeeded in some modestly-defined arms. Whatever he does, Aaron can't seem to keep muscle on his torso anywhere. The only places where there is some definition are his arms and his legs. Aaron has also sported a tan the last few years, as a result of many trials on the beach (and some painfully sunburned shoulders). Somehow, this tan remains year round. It is a mystery as to how he keeps it, while he attributes it to his perfect complexion, some say there's a tanning oil behind the scenes.

    Perhaps the only aspect that Aaron readily dislikes about himself is his hair. In the summer of sixth grade, his mother and sisters decided to try out some salon products. Somehow, Aaron got conned into becoming their guinea pig. He sat in the same chair for two hours while the girls read the instructions and experimented on his shaggy golden curls, and from that point onward, Aaron was a changed man. Yes, he sat patiently while reading a book (later the sister's learned it was one of their diaries) and yes, he did not complain. But when it came time to wash out their experiment, Aaron was howling and hysterical. It seems that they all had underestimated the power of the one particular bottle of brown hair dye, and the little brother ended up with dark brown roots, complete with three or four dark brown streaks in the back. Mrs. Hawkins (now Giulani) will say that Aaron was hysterical for over three hours, but Aaron will tell you that he promptly smashed a hat on his head and ran outside to go play.

    Aaron also has a unique obsession with hats. Ever since the hair incident, he is always wearing one, unless he's forbidden to wear one. Well, probably not even then either. He would probably still wear one until an adult or a teacher came up an snatched it off his head. Perhaps Aaron wears them because he's self-conscious of his hair. Perhaps he wears them just because he thinks it makes him look cool. Perhaps he's just trying to have his own signature. If that's the case, he's certainly got one. Aaron owns countless hats; fedoras, racer boys, beanies, even berets. And he seems to have a different one for every day of the year. His favorite, though, by far, would have to be his all-purpose pink fedora. Along with his other clothing preferences: collared, striped shirts (shirttails, untucked, of course) faded jeans, and shoes that are either gold or white. One other quirk about Aaron's appearance is his sunglasses. Aaron loves big, 80's style glasses. He'll wear them anywhere, along with his hats.

    Aaron's face is worth describing. It's oval shaped, with a well-defined jaw and neck. His ears are hidden behind his shaggy locks of blond hair. His hair is cut neatly and falls just in the midway line of his neck, and his bangs fall just in front of his eyes, over his blond eyebrows. He has a relatively small forehead, though his cheekbones are high and slim. His nose is long, and rounded. Aaron rarely has to worry about blemishes, either. His secret weapon? He's managed to filch some of his sister's cleanser. Hey, what she doesn't know won't hurt her, right? Aaron's lips are thin and often curved into one of his famous half-smiles, dimpling on one side and showing just a hint of teeth. His eyes are often half-closed or winking. He has light lashes, and at first glance, you might think his eyes were blue-gray, but if you looked closer, would see traces of green and little flecks of orange. Aaron likes his eyes above all his other features. He's even proud of them, you might say.

    Personality Summary:
    Aaron is a ladie's man. He has been ever since he was about thirteen. Before that he was a typical brother. Annoying. Nosy. Messy. Loud. He doesn't seem to have changed much, apart from the fact that he's slowly starting to accept some responsibility, if any at all. Aaron has always been laid-back and relaxed, even in particularly awkward situations. He's an extrovert that isn't easily embarrassed, though he does care a lot more about what girls seem to think of him. He's learned pretty much everything about how they worked and how they though by paying careful attention back at home. Though Aaron is pointedly masculine, he hasn't forgotten living in a house full of women, and as a result he is an exceptional flirt. But Aaron sometimes forgets some of his lessons; like subtlety, and he is often pushy, but for the most part he does remember that girls are people, too...right?

    Aaron was never one for alcohol. Sure, he'd had a few drinks, but his first hangover was far less than pleasant. He got alcohol poisoning. Aaron was rushed to the hospital, where he got his stomach pumped and was kept for observation for two days. From this experience stem two of Aaron's big dislikes: alcohol and hospitals. Ever since that incident, he's always had a bad taste in his mouth about alcohol and he avoids it as much as he can. While most guys were getting themselves fall-down drunk, Aaron was keeping a clear head and not getting himself into difficult situations. As he started to (slooowly) accept responsibility, he realized how much beer actually affected his decisions and he resolved not to drink much other than a sip or two at a party, After the stomach pumping his family also kept an (annoyingly close) eye on him, and he didn't want punishment that would take away his phone, driving privileges, or worse, girls.

    Aaron also has a strong dislike for hospitals. The smell. The clean white, pristine rooms. The atmosphere of the place. Smelling the clean smell made Aaron think about horrible odors before the intense scrubbing. (He need only retch again to be reminded of just how horrible.) Looking at the clean rooms, Aaron couldn't help thinking about how bloodstained and blood-spattered they must have once been. Cheery nurses only made him think of the tense situation of a quickly dying patient. He wanted to get the hell out of there. And he did. He kept himself out of eminent danger and tried not to get himself hurt again. Even when his father was sent to the hospital, Aaron was hesitant to agree. He blames himself for making the whole family late and missing a few precious moments with their father. They only had a few minutes to say goodbye. But that was if he could talk. And William Hawkins was in a coma. He died about ten minutes after the family got to his room.

    Since his father's death, Aaron has been reeling. He's been trying to cope with the loss of his father and a whole batch of responsibility that he's never had (or for that matter, cared about) before. Along with having to pay all of his own bills Aaron's also had to be there for his sisters when their mother got engaged again. He finally realized that not everything in life is a free ride. He started studying more. He started to round out his resume, He noticed that this was the son his father had always wanted: not a boy who drowned himself in beautiful women, but a man who took responsibility for his actions and cared about his place in the world. That's when Aaron usually needs to go 'lie down' for a second. He shuts his door and deals with the pain alone. His father never got to see the son he wanted all along. This has brought a great weight over Aaron's shoulder's, though he's slowly starting to pick up the pieces again and move on with his life. He no longer jumps around from girl to girl, and he can even be without a girlfriend for weeks at a time. He's no longer trying to look for quantity as much as quality.

    Aaron isn't exactly violent, but when provoked he can hold his own in a fight. He isn't physically intimidating (being at least three inches shorter than most seniors) but he is sort of coordinated, though he's no Mohammed Ali. In his tween years Aaron was a huge klutz and he was always tripping over his own feet, especially when running away from larger, brawnier boys. After skidding on his elbows countless times Aaron's got enough scars to prove he could run fast enough to fall down at least three times and still get away. The only sport he really gets into is track. But except for running, Aaron's not that good at much else: he's fair at soccer and a few other sports, but he's a horrible dancer. He has little to no rhythm, though he has (ashamedly) taken dancing lessons, he hasn't gotten much better. Mostly he relies on Dance Dance Revolution to teach him the steps, and that's one of the video games that might pay him to just stop trying.

    that deep, dark past;

    Parents: William Hawkins [deceased] & Theresa Giulani [remarried]

    Siblings: [Girl Three] Hawkins, age 17, and two other sisters.

    History Summary:
    In the early morning hours of April 30th eighteen years prior, a little blond-haired baby boy came into the world, much to his parent's joy (or masked distaste). Being the second child ( an elder sister had been born to his father and mother some five years previously. To this day, his family still maintains the first things out of this sister's mouth was "I thought you said it would be a girl!" But she was not to be disappointed. The year after Aaron's birth there came another girl, and the year after that still another. Soon his father and Aaron were outnumbered, and they felt the strain. Even Mr. Hawkins wasn't around the house much, if at all, and Aaron grew up with strong female influences in his tender young years. Instead of playing out in the mud with the other young boys, Aaron was inside at his mother's insistence and made to play with his sister (which both they and he disliked immensely). His mother was domineering and did not listen to either of their complaints and insisted that they "bond". Grow farther apart was more like it.

    As Aaron entered his tween years, he became clumsy and even more annoying as a brother. He would sneak into their respective rooms and snoop. His sisters thought that it was just what brothers did, but Aaron did it for reconnaissance. He had an almost all-consuming thirst for knowledge about them. There had to be something in their belongings that would finally answer his question: what made them act so differently than him? When he was smaller, they would dress up and he would dress down. They dreamed of being prim and beautiful, he dreamed of diving in the mud puddles. They huddled around the fireplace with hot chocolate on a rainy day, staring with dreary faces at the rain, hoping to change it. Aaron dreamed of dancing in it. Unfortunately for him, his mother objected to his wishes, with a swift "Oh no, honey, you'll catch cold," or a "You'll mess your clothes and hair up," (which normally did deter him) but the only times he ever seemed to be out in the rain without a nagging mother was when he was at school or on his own.

    Aaron's always yearned for attention, especially from his parents. When he couldn't get much from them, he completely skipped over his sisters: he knew he was wasting his time with them. In his early teens Aaron was clamoring for attention and he finally found someone that paid attention to him. It was a girl named Juliet Greene (though he seems to often forget her name) and she was the first girl he found himself falling for. Finally he was noticed, appreciated, wanted. He reveled in that feeling and didn't know what he would do without it. After Juliet and Aaron went their separate ways, Aaron found himself again craving attention, but this time he knew what to do. Soon he was dating another girl, and then another, and then still another. This was where he got his start. it was always for the attention, and it still is. His..obsession, was fueled by, and has always been fueled by his need for attention. He craved it, and soon he was addicted to it.

    When Aaron was seventeen he suffered an immense emotional blow. His father was driving home from a business trip and it had been raining. He seemed to be in a hurry, he had been away from home for over two weeks. It had been raining for the past day or so, and the streets were slick and treacherous. In the curves of the highway that leads to Ashwood Ridge, William Hawkins took a curve at an excess of fifty miles an hour, and his SUV's wheels skidded across the pavement, out of control. Witnesses were puzzled as to why the otherwise responsible man would take a turn at that speed with no regard to the conditions. Then his car rolled four times, and went over a steep embankment. Mr. Hawkins was rushed to the hospital in a comatose. After the Hawkins' arrived at the hospital, William Hawkins passed away. Aaron saw this whole incident hit home. His father was responsible and level-headed. How could he have misjudged something so obvious? And Aaron was nowhere near the calm and collected type his father was. And Aaron was also now the new man of the house, even though his mother had remarried a man named Ronald Giulani. He was the last Hawkins man. He had to make a name for himself.

    He started to study more, and to try and take more responsibility. After Project Opportunity was instilled at Ashwood Ridge Highschool, he was secretly quite pleased with the idea. Finally he could show everyone that he could take care of himself, and that he wouldn't buckle under the pressure of more responsibility. Despite a few (inevitable, for Aaron) false starts, he's barely getting by. He's even paying less attention to girls. Hes trying to decide what to do with his life. After his father's death he seemed to understand that he wasn't quite as invincible he once thought himself to be. Now he's starting to get his priorities straight: first, get this responsibility thing down pat. Second, stop jumping around from girl to girl so much. Aaron has never felt lightning bolts of passion before, he is tentatively thinking about being swept off his feet (no matter how un-manly that sounds). But not before he graduates highschool with a bang, and hopefully senior year won't disappoint.
