By registering you have already agreed to these rules and agree to follow them.


Board Rules


1) No Spamming. Spam is an acronym for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. Spam includes chatspeak, words consisting of only smily faces and the like.


2) Absolutely no flaming of any kind. This includes indirect flaming, flame wars, or simply flaming. Flaming is only insulting the person, not what they think. However, any kind of religious insults will be considered flaming. Obviously, characters in the RP can flame each other.


3) Do not disrespect the hard work of the Arze Staff, or any contributions of members. Suggestions and constructive criticism are encouraged though.


4) Only the following swear words are allowed: damn, dammit, ass, hell, dick. No kind of religious swearing is allowed. "Oh My God" becomes "Oh My Gawd." In the Rp, its different--you can say almost anything except 9|_|(|< and anything stronger that I don't know of. ^^


5) Do not impersonate the staff. This includes registering with a name similar to that of a staff member, having the same/similar avatars/signatures, posting in the same color, etc, etc. This also means you are forbidden to do something to the following: "posting before lock" or "ban this guy" and "this is a bad thread". We are more than capable of seeing these things. This is called "Backseat Moderating."


6) Please post in understandable English. if its standard forum speak, such as some form of lol and the like, that is fine. The only time you can break this rule is if you want to censor something, like "9|_|(|<."


7) Any posts to anything illegal (ROMs, wares, hacks, pornography, etc) will earn you an instant banning, no exceptions. Your username and IP address will be spread throughout the internet on all of our affys and you will be banned from those sites as well (guarenteed! ^^)


8) Please do not trash other sites here--we aren't interested. Please keep try to keep descriptions nice. Saying something like "I hate Arze" is one thing, but saying something like "Arze sucks" is a lot different. Yes, they are saying the same thing, but its all about how you word things. ;D


9) Do not flood or double/triple/etc--if you have something to say, please use the edit bump. Only double post if you are bumping or have an update.


10) If your post was altered to edited by a staff member, do not change it back. It was altered for a reason.


11) Do not make huge signatures. Keep images to a small size and text to a minimum. The amount of characters are allowed for the utilization of BB code. If you take advantage this feature, your ability to have a signature will be removed. We have an HTML Code that lets your put a scrolly thing in your singature. You can find the code in the "Questions About Arze" Forum.


12) Do not advertise other sites outside of the advertising forum. Only put links to other sites in your signature if you have met the qualifications. We know the difference between advertising and using another site for reference.


13) No multiple accounts are allowed. If you have a sibling or something joining, have them register on another computer. The board will not accept any registrations with an I.P. address that already exists on the board.


14) Do not send Mass PMs for any reason, especially advertising. All PMs of the like should be forwarded to an administrator or moderator immediately so the offender can be properly dealt with.


15) Plagiarism is banned. Any form of plagiarism is forbidden. You must put a credit to the creator/owner if you use something. This also means any type of forgery is prohibited.


16) Don't smart-talk us. In the RP is one thing, but trying to weasel out of something will lead to a ban. Similarly, being a smart-ass will give you a ban, unless its in good fun.


17) Because of COPPA, all users under 13 are banned. If you are excused from COPPA, please tell us.


18) All links to sites determined to scare or annoy the person who views it will be removed and the offender will be dealt with. These include shock sites and everything else in that general catagory.


19) General stupidity is banned. Check things first. This isn't a hard-and-fast rule like the others, since I probably do more stupid things than everyone else in the entire board put together, but try to be aware of things. I.E, Guts boost hits through a burn; Fighting does not resist ground, etc, etc. General stupidity on a stricter scale means linking to porn sites, shock sites, "lol cats" and the like.



That is all you need to know to enjoy your stay at Arze! Most of these you won't have to worry about. I know that 19 rules seems intimidating, but just follow the last one and you should be okay. Please also read the invisionfree Terms of Use on the invisionfree website.


We shouldn't have to warn you more than twice. We're all 13 or more, we can show some responsibility. There are no exceptions.


But its still a fun place! At least we allow you to breathe and sustain yourself (sometimes). These rules are extremely leinent and most are just common sense. You'll find us staff breaking them left and right. :D
