There is really nothing to discuss on a topic like this. And, yes, you've made your point: It's not a stereotype. We get the point. Now how many times have you said that already? It's giving my a headache.
| QUOTE | | My question is basically, why are they so smart? |
An educated person is one who has learned that information almost always turns out to be at best incomplete and very often false, misleading, fictitious, mendacious - just dead wrong.
| QUOTE | | How about when they go to U.S.A (born) and they still get good grades? |
Now you've just answered your own question.
| QUOTE | | Which population is "smarter?," Americans or Japanese? |
I don't know. You ask yourself that. Your answer lies within you think all Japanese are smart or whether they're not. Education is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another. Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance.
And whether you say Japanese are smarter than Japanese-Americans, the point still remains that the Japanese (It doesn't matter WHAT KIND) are *smart*. You're putting words in your mouth that aren't particularly true. "Oh, it's not stereotyping"... then what is it if you can't absorb what we're saying? Education is the transmission of civilization.
| QUOTE | | It's not stereo-typing, its relating in facts. Facts about economy, and education. I don't think this topic is discussing anything really. |
You know what gets me mad? You make a topic, and yet you already *know* the answer.

Bravo Fatalystic. I applaud your last comment.
However, please don't talk to my administrators like that.
I'm closing this topic, the only thing it's caused is minor headaches. -__-;;
