Welcome to Among The Dead! We are a brand new rp site. The town of Amarillus, BC, has been known for strange and unusual things. But nothing could prepare the towns people for what was about to happen. One night around midnight, a flash of light erupted in the sky. Everyone fell to the ground, animals and people alike no matter where they were, inside or out, and woke up the next morning dead.
Now, they're trying to find their way back to the the 'living' . They have no idea what that light was. They only know that it was government made and that is was a experimental virus...

Amarillus
This quaint little town is the epicenter for the unusual things to happen. It sits right in the middle of a valley. On either side are large mountains. The only way to get in or out is a bridge.

Laramie Forest
This forest is thick and hardly any light breaks through here. There is a dirt path that snakes through here and ends up at an old abandoned factory. There have been rumors about the factory but no hard evidence...

Lake Mungo
This lake is large and spreads over a sizable vicinity. Its deep and murky. Here, boats are often kept and are rented. There is a small island in the middle of it that is also said to be haunted...

Adalaide's Bar
This bar is set just northeast of Amarillus. It's a tough bar with a lot of shady characters. But generally anyone can enter here just be on your guard

This is an old farm just south of Amarillus. Its been abandoned for a number of years now. No on ever comes here. There is a paddock in front of the house. A barn is nestled in the back.

Merigold Island
This island is just off the coast of Vancouver. Its fairly large and the only way to get there is by ferry. There is no habitation on there. It's shrouded in death and sickness back in the 1800's. Scarlet fever had taken hold of people and they were dumped on the island to die.

Merriman Memorial Hospital
An old psychiatric hospital about 40 minutes from Lake Mungo. Its still in use today but use rather 'unorthodox' techniques to treat their patients. There is also experimentation going on here deep in the bowels...

South Edge Port
A port where a of ships come in including cruise ships. There is one cruise ship still actually docked at the piers. Its called the Concorde Anne.

WestBridge Mall
This mall is large. It even has a small carousel in the center of it. There are loads of stores in here. You can buy just about anything you want. There are even lots of choices for food. Parking is in front.
