The End of Steven's Reign

Dear Amherstians,

Some might have seen this coming for a long time, but I think it's time to make it official now..
After having played MapleStory for over six years I feel like this era is coming to an end. All of my real-life friends stopped playing, and I feel like the game itself isn't as fun as back in the days anymore. More importantly, I'm finally going to live on my own so I can study at the university next month. Combined with the idea that the whole world of Islanders, the one thing that kept me playing once in a while, is slowly dying I think it's time to quit MapleStory.

This also means that I will stop updating Amherst after this month. I've made some of you a Megamoderator in case you want to keep using this forum, but I won't mind if you make a new forum, site, whatever. It's all up to you to decide. Till then this forum will just remain online and I might be back and check it out sometimes in the future.

Finally, I'd like to thank all of you for those great six years of MapleStory. I've met some great players, some I've even met in real life and still talk to through social media, and I can still remember many extremely funny in-game times. Some quitters say they've wasted their money and life on a stupid game, but I think it was all worth it.

I've considered Delft and been there, but in the end I chose for Twente. What are you going to study in Delft?

VERY LATE but I'd like to thank you for your support in the small period I play eMS. We all enjoyed MapleStory's story, I don't want to play anymore but I feel it was the best period in my life playing it! Good luck Steven and hello everybody!
