I've always had a soft spot for the Alpha legion almost the tragic unsung heroes of 40k. I'll be taking part in Deep Strike Radios getting ready for 6th Edition challenge and i'll be playing them out of Codex space marines.
Note my troops will have a uniform look on a unit by unit basis meaning the exact same looking body parts and this isnt a nasty armed and grime encrusted chaos legion this is a newly re-armed Legion from whatever deciet, lies, and trickery to get the right tools to accomplish the emperors true mission 1st up My Sternguard Star (Efreeti Stealth Squad) 4xcombi meltas 4xcombi plasma 2x hvy flamer Mathias Herzog (Pedro Kantor) Librarian - Force Dome, and hvy flamer spell or null zone droppod or redeemer depending on game      Only the Libby and the Sternguard will have the chaos back packs. I have a tac squad that will all have MK 8 Errant armor, some snipers with a Telion stand in cultist (Rin Farrah from soda pop minis) and a Contemptor with a Kheres AS and a Gravity gun, and some Tartaros Termies for my Lernaeans |

Nice models. They all from fw? Maybe I too should get a squad of them ^^

Looks like you're off to a good start.
I debated taking heavy flamers in my Sternguard, but left them out. I don't want them to be that close to the enemy, or take away special ammo from any of them. Of course, you don't always get that luxury in the heat of battle, but that's my goal for now. -------------------- I slip through the murky darkness like a dark, murky, slippy thing.

They are some nice looking guys
 A few pointers, though; I can see some mould lines, which you might want to clean up prior to undercaot etc. I might also be tempted to shave off those DA symbols on the helmets. You are off to a good start there, friend. But I have one small request for you...drill the barrels!
It looks sooo much nicer on closeups such as these, and I myself just started a project with drilling all my old barrels on my old models(lotsa work, indeed)... Oh, I have to say nice job on the spelling! It took me months to learn how to spell "Lernaean" correctly! --------------------  "Deception is the point. Any fool can calculate strength.
