So has anyone else here read through the Space wolves codex? Cause they have some wicked HQ units......

Questions, comments, concerns? Moans, groans, complaints?

That is pretty wicked. I dont know. Maybe its just the fact that they are so much different than any of the space marines, chaos or loyal.

that is a pretty legendary diorama they did blink.gif .

well i had 2 games against the wolves last night and they were both good.

the main thing i noticed is they are cheaper. the same force my friend was using 2 weeks ago now has a pack of 10 wolves that are inhanced by the wolf lords saga.

a couple of draw backs is that now he cannot give his wolf guard in his squads a wolf talisman (always hits on a 3+ in CC), and he is limited to the number of special CC weapons in his grey hunter packs.

i still feel they work basically the same as before, its just that now there are some points left over for some fun units.

the first game i was using blood angels and he beat me by 1 kill point (dam drop pods). so in the second game i got serious and put him to the test with the alpha legion, yeah the second game didnt work out so well for the wolves and the two blood claws that survived ran away yelping while i only lost 2 terminators and 5 marines Hydramark.jpg tongue.gif

Nice. I'll have to see if anyone I know plays them. Sounds like it will be a good game at the very least.
