I've also painted the rims of the bases black, but that's just a minor detail.

But an important one; I did notice this earlier, but decided mentioning it would be a little rude wink.gif

Yeah, I noticed that they looked a bit silly next to my Chosen (which I did prime black, so they had the black rims for free...) so after the games I had yesterday they got a bit of paint slapped onto them. I don't really take offense to pointers about my painting, so feel free to point out obvious misses or things that seem a bit odd in the future.

It is indeed! I'm particularly proud of how it turned out, grey basecoat and a few layers of washes made it look pretty organic. Thanks by the way!

Also, a friend of mine suggested some more silver detailing on my painted Rhino but I'm kinda unsure if I should, what do you guys think?

As ageis suggestted, the driver's windows could be edged in silver, but I think it looks fine otherwise thumbsup.gif I can't really see what details you could pick out as it is; you've got most of them already smile.gif

I did paint the driver's windows silver and it was much better, thanks for the suggestion guys!

I'm quite down the line with the next Rhino, but I finished a couple of other guys that I thought that you wanted to see first: The Obliterator Brothers!

I will probably add some of my blue sand and other basing materials to tie in their bases with the rest of the force but not today. They were done this friday, but I've had real life stuff (amongst other things) intruding on my spare time (curse you, Dragon Age!).
There is also a Rhino lurking beside (and behind!) them, it lacks only washes, headlights and freehand designs before it's done as well.

I'd forgotten about these guys thumbsup.gif They're looking pretty awesome!

Might I suggest that you blacken the interior of the barrels a little more?

Hey dude, nice to see you lurking thumbsup.gif Thought your AL were in deep cover disguised as Salamanders last time I looked; they ready to come back in from the cold?

Well, my Flesh Tearers project has me pretty charged up, but I will be getting some AL stuff done soonish. I looked back and I can't believe I've been gone THAT long... didn't realize I joined up and posted initial pics over a year ago lol...

I'll stick around and try to contribute a bit more- this forum has a really cool community, and I've been neglectful... smile.gif

So, what do you guys think should be next; the last ten-man CSM squad or the Dreadnought?
